39cec62229 ARM: OMAP2+: Fix undefined reference to set_cntfreq
If CONFIG_SOC_HAS_REALTIME_COUNTER is not selected for omap5
or dra7xx, we can get the following error:

arch/arm/mach-omap2/built-in.o: In function `omap4_secondary_init':
:(.text+0x7ab0): undefined reference to `set_cntfreq'

Fix the issue by not trying to initalize the realtime counter
unles CONFIG_SOC_HAS_REALTIME_COUNTER is selected.

fd3a5d5b83 gpio: twl4030: Fix passing of pdata in the device tree case
We still have some legacy code needing the callback functions
that won't work properly without platform data. To use platform
data for twl4030-gpio, we need to not trash the possible data.

0b2aa8bed3 gpio: twl4030: Fix regression for twl gpio output
Commit c111feabe2 (gpio: twl4030: Cache the direction and output
states in private data) improved things in general, but caused a
regression for setting the GPIO output direction.

The change reorganized twl_direction_out() and twl_set() and swapped
the function names around in the process. While doing that, a bug got
introduced that's not obvious while reading the patch as it appears
as no change to the code.

The bug is we now call function twl4030_set_gpio_dataout() twice in
both twl_direction_out() and twl_set(). Instead, we should first
call twl_direction_out() in twl_direction_out() followed by
twl4030_set_gpio_dataout() in twl_set().

This regression probably has gone unnoticed for a long time as the
bootloader may have set the GPIO direction properly in many cases.
This fixes at least the LCD panel not turning on omap3 LDP for
example.

cae26f3113 ARM: OMAP2+: More randconfig fixes for reconfigure_io_chain
Commit 26273e02a0 (ARM: OMAP2+: Fix build for dra7xx without
omap4 and 5) attempted to fix randconfig found errors for
redefinition of omap44xx_prm_reconfigure_io_chain, but was
not enough.

We need to check for AM43XX without any omap4 or 5 related
SoCs as well. And looks like we have prm44xx.o built always
anyways with omap-4-5-prcm-common because of the calls to
omap4_prm_vp_clear_txdone, so we can remove the duplicate
entries in the Makefile.

467f4bd260 ARM: dts: Fix omap2 specific dtsi files by adding the missing entries
Looks like we're missing few entries for omap2 and the drivers
have only worked because of the omap hwmod building the devices
for the missing entries.

Let's fix the missing entries so we don't need to rely on hwmod
for the basic data and can then later on remove the duplicate
data from hwmod. Otherwise device tree only drivers will not
work properly.

fd4446f25e ARM: OMAP2+: Fix GPMC and simplify bootloader timings for 8250 and smc91x
Commit f2bf0e72d0 (ARM: OMAP2+: Add minimal 8250 support
for GPMC) added support for using bootloader timings for some
devices. Turns out we can do the same by looking at the compatible
flags of the child without adding a new function as smc91x has
a similar issue as 8250 with the bootloader timings.

And let's fix the 8250 naming, we should use the device type as
the name like uart instead of 8250 for zoom dts file.

3522bf7bfa ARM: OMAP2+: omap_device: maintain sane runtime pm status around suspend/resume
OMAP device hooks around suspend|resume_noirq ensures that hwmod
devices are forced to idle using omap_device_idle/enable as part of
the last stage of suspend activity.

For a device such as i2c who uses autosuspend, it is possible to enter
the suspend path with dev->power.runtime_status = RPM_ACTIVE.

As part of the suspend flow, the generic runtime logic would increment
it's dev->power.disable_depth to 1. This should prevent further
pm_runtime_get_sync from succeeding once the runtime_status has been
set to RPM_SUSPENDED.

Now, as part of the suspend_noirq handler in omap_device, we force the
following: if the device status is !suspended, we force the device
to idle using omap_device_idle (clocks are cut etc..). This ensures
that from a hardware perspective, the device is "suspended". However,
runtime_status is left to be active.

*if* an operation is attempted after this point to
pm_runtime_get_sync, runtime framework depends on runtime_status to
indicate accurately the device status, and since it sees it to be
ACTIVE, it assumes the module is functional and returns a non-error
value. As a result the user will see pm_runtime_get succeed, however a
register access will crash due to the lack of clocks.

To prevent this from happening, we should ensure that runtime_status
exactly indicates the device status. As a result of this change
any further calls to pm_runtime_get* would return -EACCES (since
disable_depth is 1). On resume, we restore the clocks and runtime
status exactly as we suspended with. These operations are not expected
to fail as we update the states after the core runtime framework has
suspended itself and restore before the core runtime framework has
resumed.

c9b3a7d227 pinctrl: single: call pcs_soc->rearm() whenever IRQ mask is changed
On OMAPs the IO ring must be rearmed each time the pad wakeup
configuration is changed. So call pcs_soc->rearm() from
pcs_irq_set().

As pinctrl-single is now an interrupt controller in some cases,
we should follow the standards and keep the interrupts enabled
constantly, and not just for wake-up events. The tracking of
runtime vs wake-up interrupts can be handled separately for
the automated runtime PM solution when we have it in the
future.

   - A new driver for the Broadcom Kona GPIO SoC IP block.

   - Device tree support for the PCF857x driver.

   - A set of ARM GPIO refactorings with the goal of getting rid of a
     bunch of custom GPIO implementations from the arch/arm/* tree:

     * Move the IOP GPIO driver to the GPIO subsystem and fix all users
       to use the gpiolib API for accessing GPIOs.  Delete the old
       custom GPIO implementation.

     * Delete the unused custom PXA GPIO implemention.

     * Convert all users of the IXP4 custom GPIO implementation to use
       gpiolib and delete the custom implementation.

     * Delete the custom Gemini GPIO implementation, also completely
       unused.

The main thing this time around has been some improvments to async I/O.
 
  - Cleaned up the async I/O support and extended it to allow single
    register writes more easily.  This is now used where possible for
    internally generated I/O, providing performance improvements for
    devices that can do async I/O.
  - An API for issuing a sequence of register writes as a single
    operation.  Some devices and buses can take advantage of this to
    do the I/O faster.
  - Addition of regmap_field APIs which help drivers for devices with
    repeated IPs or which move registers around between revisions to
    share helpers.
