37c492c8f6 HID: quirk for Saitek RAT7 and MMO7 mices' mode button
Some saitek mice implement a tristate button (for switching button mappings in
the original driver) by keeping one of three (non-physical)
buttons constantly pressed.

This breaks X and probably other userspace software.

This patch implements a quirk for the R.A.T.7 and M.M.O.7, tracking the mode
and generating presses of a single button if it changes. Also the missing
release event is generated instantly.

f3b0cbce01 Revert "HID: microsoft: Add ID's for Surface Type/Touch Cover 2"
This reverts commit 117309c51d.

The MS Surface Pro 2 has an USB composite device with 3 interfaces
- interface 0 - sensor hub
- interface 1 - wacom digitizer
- interface 2 - the keyboard cover, if one is attached
This USB composite device changes it product id dependent on if and which
keyboard cover is attached. Adding the covers to hid_have_special_driver
prevents loading the right hid drivers for the other two interfaces, all 3
get loaded with hid-microsoft. We don't even need hid-microsoft for the
keyboards. We have to revert this to load the right hid modules for each
interface.

30f58877bf HID: sensor-hub: add sensor hub quirk for ThinkPad Helix
Just like some of the other laptops/tablets on the market with ultrabook
sensors, the ThinkPad Helix's sensor hub requires a special quirk in
order for it to power on properly. Without it the sensors are detected
by the kernel and set up as usual, but they won't output any data. This
will also fix the sensors on any other laptops with the same model of
sensor hub.

875e36f8a2 HID: hid-sensor-hub: Fix buggy report descriptors
This addresses regression caused by commit id "751d17e23a9f7"
iio: hid-sensors: Fix power and report state.
This commit removed a quirk, to change the enumeration base
to 1 from 0 based on an CONFIG paramter. There was objection to
add more changes under this quirk, instead suggested to add an
HID quirk. But there is no easy way to add HID qurik as the
reports are not properly using collection class.

The solution was to use logical minimum, which is a correct way.
There were changes done in firmware to address this.

Unfortunately some devices, still use old FW and can't be upgraded
to newer version on Linux devices as there is no FW upgrade tool
available for Linux devices. So we need to fix report descriptors,
for such devices. This will not have any impact, if the FW uses
logical 1 as minimum.

In this patch we look for usage id for "power and report state", and
modify logical minimum value to 1.

Background on enum:
In the original HID sensor hub firmwares all Named array enums were
to 0-based. But the most recent hub implemented as 1-based,
because of the implementation by one of the major OS vendor.
Using logical minimum for the field as the base of enum. So we add
logical minimum to the selector values before setting those fields.
Some sensor hub FWs already changed logical minimum from 0 to 1
to reflect this and hope every other vendor will follow.
There is no easy way to add a common HID quirk for NAry elements,
even if the standard specifies these field as NAry, the collection
used to describe selectors is still just "logical".

So the first input whithin this report has a count of 3 but a usage range

30ba2fbde1 HID: add ThingM blink(1) USB RGB LED support
The ThingM blink(1) is an open source hardware USB RGB LED. It contains
an internal EEPROM, allowing to configure up to 12 light patterns. A
light pattern is a RGB color plus a fade time. This driver registers a
LED class instance with additional sysfs attributes to support basic
functions such as setting RGB colors, fade and playing. Other functions
are still accessible through the hidraw interface.

At this time, the only documentation for the device is the firmware
source code from ThingM, plus a few schematics. They are available at:

https://github.com/todbot/blink1

This patch is version 3. It updates the name of the source file, the
driver and the led sysfs entry, according to comments from Jiri Kosina
and Simon Wood.

c2517f62da HID: multitouch: add support for Nexio 42" panel
This device is the worst device I saw. It keeps TipSwitch and InRange
at 1 for fingers that are not touching the panel.
The solution is to rely on the field ContactCount, which is accurate

Unfortunately, CountactCount is most of the time at the end of the report.
The solution is to pick it when we have the whole report in raw_event.

a464918419 HID: add support for Sony RF receiver with USB product id 0x0374
Some Vaio desktop computers, among them the VGC-LN51JGB multimedia PC, have
a RF receiver, multi-interface USB device 054c:0374, that is used to connect
a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse.

The keyboard works flawlessly, but the mouse (VGP-WMS3 in my case) does not
seem to be generating any pointer events. The problem is that the mouse pointer
is wrongly declared as a constant non-data variable in the report descriptor
(see lsusb and usbhid-dump output below), with the consequence that it is
ignored by the HID code.

Add this device to the have-special-driver list and fix up the report
descriptor in the Sony-specific driver which happens to already have a fixup
for a similar firmware bug.

Previously, both usbhid and usbtouchscreen would bind to D-WAV devices

Other than that, there wa a ton of work on the comedi drivers to make
them more readable and the correct style. Doing that removed a lot of

2f43f8749e HID: remove Paul Walmsley's copyright from places where it shouldn't be
Paul Walmsley has implemented dynamic quirk handling back in 2007 through
commits:

2eb5dc30eb ("USB HID: encapsulate quirk handling into hid-quirks.c")
8222fbe67c ("USB HID: clarify static quirk handling as squirks")
8cef908235 ("USB HID: add support for dynamically-created quirks")
876b9276b9 ("USB HID: add 'quirks' module parameter")

and as such, his copyright rightly belongs to
drivers/hid/usbhid/hid-quirks.c file.

However when generic HID code has been converted to bus and individual
quirks separated out to individual drivers on the bus, the copyright has
been blindly transfered into all the tiny drivers, which actually don't
contain any of Pauls' copyrighted code.

Add support for UC-Logic Tablet TWHA60.
It is known to be sold as Genius EasyPen M610 and Monoprice MP1060-HA60.

As this tablet has several variations with different number and different
assignments of frame buttons, they are simply mapped to F1-F24 range and are
left for users to remap in userspace.

fd1d152583 HID: multitouch: add more eGalax devices
This is a list of devices that should be handled by hid-multitouch. They all
present the HID usage "Contact ID" and won't be handled by hid-input. Some of
them have _not_ been tested (though I have their report descriptors), but I've
been guaranted by eeti that they follow the same protocol. The tested ones are
also blacklisted in hid-core.c.
