fc99dd0829 mwifiex: do not process broadcast mac address for del_sta
Generally broadcast mac address deauth is followed by stop_ap or start_ap.
In both cases, FW already has provision to send deauth; so there is no
need to handle broadcast mac deauthentication.

c11fb9857f mwifiex: guard station nodes access by station list lock
Station node entries should be guarded for whole of their reference
instead of just while getting node entry from station list.
It may happen that station node is retrieved may be deleted by

dda9ddeb26 mwifiex: do not delete station entries in del_sta handler
A crash was observed while cfg80211 del_station handler is
called while stopping AP. This was happening because we were
deleting station list and Rx reorder table entries in del_sta
handler. While station entry is being deleted here, it may happen
that station deauth event from FW would also try to delete station
entry.

This patch fixes this crash by not deleting station entries in del_station
handler. Entry would be deleted while processing station deauth event; which
is triggered by del_station command to FW.

381e9fffe6 mwifiex: skip delay main work logic for USB interface.
We had introduced delay main work logic to avoid processing
interrupts when Rx pending packet count reaches high threshold.
interrupt processing is restarted later when packet count
reduces lower threashold. This helped to reduce unnecessary
overhead and improve throughput for SD and PCIe chipsets.

As there are no interrupts for USB, we will skip this logic for
USB chipsets.

9927baa3c7 mwifiex: add auto TDLS support
This patch adds auto TDLS support to mwifiex.

Auto TDLS functionality works as follows:
1. Whenever userspace application has triggered TDLS connection with
any peer, driver would store this peer mac address details in its database.
2. After this driver whenever driver receives packet on direct link,
it would store rssi and timestamp in peer information.
3. Whenever a packet is to be transmitted to non-AP peer in station mode,
driver would check if TDLS link can be established by looking at peer RSSI
information. Driver would initiate TDLS setup in such cases.
4. Periodic timer is used for updating peer information.
5. Auto TDLS peer list & timer are cleared during disconnection or driver unload.

cf6a64fd60 mwifiex: fix out of memory issue observed for USB chipsets
On some platforms, system goes out of memory during heavy
Rx traffic with our USB chipsets.

In case of SDIO/PCIe, after receiving 50 packets in Rx queue
we stop processing interrupts till packets pending fall below
low threshold i.e 20. We don't have similar logic for USB,
so if host platform is slow, we would hit a case where firmware
keeps on pushing packets at high speed than driver/kernel can
process.

We will stop submitting URBs for Rx data when pending packet
count reaches high threshold and restart them when enough
packets are consumed to solve the problem.

3a8fede115 mwifiex: restart rxreorder timer correctly
During 11n RX reordering, if there is a hole in RX table,
driver will not send packets to kernel until the rxreorder
timer expires or the table is full.
However, currently driver always restarts rxreorder timer when
receiving a packet, which causes the timer hardly to expire.
So while connected with to 11n AP in a busy environment,
ping packets may get blocked for about 30 seconds.

This patch fixes this timer restarting by ensuring rxreorder timer
would only be restarted either timer is not set or start_win
has changed.

pull request: wireless-next 2014-10-03

Please pull tihs batch of updates intended for the 3.18 stream!

For the iwlwifi bits, Emmanuel says:

"I have here a few things that depend on the latest mac80211's changes:
RRM, TPC, Quiet Period etc... Eyal keeps improving our rate control
and we have a new device ID. This last patch should probably have
gone to wireless.git, but at that stage, I preferred to send it to
-next and CC stable."

For (most of) the Atheros bits, Kalle says:

"The only new feature is testmode support from me. Ben added a new method
to crash the firmware with an assert for debug purposes. As usual, we
have lots of smaller fixes from Michal. Matteo fixed a Kconfig
dependency with debugfs. I fixed some warnings recently added to
checkpatch."

For the NFC bits, Samuel says:

"We've had major updates for TI and ST Microelectronics drivers, and a
few NCI related changes.

For TI's trf7970a driver:

- Target mode support for trf7970a
- Suspend/resume support for trf7970a
- DT properties additions to handle different quirks
- A bunch of fixes for smartphone IOP related issues

For ST Microelectronics' ST21NFCA and ST21NFCB drivers:

- ISO15693 support for st21nfcb
- checkpatch and sparse related warning fixes
- Code cleanups and a few minor fixes

Finally, Marvell added ISO15693 support to the NCI stack, together with a
couple of NCI fixes."

For the Bluetooth bits, Johan says:

"This 3.18 pull request replaces the one I did on Monday ("bluetooth-next
2014-09-22", which hasn't been pulled yet). The additions since the last
request are:

 - SCO connection fix for devices not supporting eSCO
 - Cleanups regarding the SCO establishment logic
 - Remove unnecessary return value from logging functions
 - Header compression fix for 6lowpan
 - Cleanups to the ieee802154/mrf24j40 driver

Here's a copy from previous request that this one replaces:

'
Here are some more patches for 3.18. They include various fixes to the
btusb HCI driver, a fix for LE SMP, as well as adding Jukka to the
MAINTAINERS file for generic 6LoWPAN (as requested by Alexander Aring).

I've held on to this pull request a bit since we were waiting for a SCO
related fix to get sorted out first. However, since the merge window is
getting closer I decided not to wait for it. If we do get the fix sorted
out there'll probably be a second small pull request later this week.
'"

And,

"Unless 3.17 gets delayed this will probably be our last -next pull request for
3.18. We've got:

  - New Marvell hardware supportr
  - Multicast support for 6lowpan
  - Several of 6lowpan fixes & cleanups
  - Fix for a (false-positive) lockdep warning in L2CAP
  - Minor btusb cleanup"

On top of all that comes the usual sort of updates to ath5k, ath9k,
ath10k, brcmfmac, mwifiex, and wil6210. This time around there are
also a number of rtlwifi updates to enable some new hardware and
to reconcile the in-kernel drivers with some newer releases of the
Realtek vendor drivers. Also of note is some device tree work for
the bcma bus.

Please let me know if there are problems!

f73e557bca mwifiex: fix soft lockup during iperf UDP RX
A soft lockup was observed on ARM multicore platform while UDP
RX iperf was running on station.

Reason for this is delay_main_task was not taken into consideration while
jumping to process_start. Now if delay_main_task is true, we would exit
mwifiex_main_process instead of going to process_start again.
This ensure other process is scheduled on this CPU and soft lockup is avoided.

57219dc7bf Merge tag 'master-2014-09-16' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/linville/wireless-next
John W. Linville says:

====================
pull request: wireless-next 2014-09-22

Please pull this batch of updates intended for the 3.18 stream...

For the mac80211 bits, Johannes says:

"This time, I have some rate minstrel improvements, support for a very
small feature from CCX that Steinar reverse-engineered, dynamic ACK
timeout support, a number of changes for TDLS, early support for radio
resource measurement and many fixes. Also, I'm changing a number of
places to clear key memory when it's freed and Intel claims copyright
for code they developed."

For the bluetooth bits, Johan says:

"Here are some more patches intended for 3.18. Most of them are cleanups
or fixes for SMP. The only exception is a fix for BR/EDR L2CAP fixed
channels which should now work better together with the L2CAP
information request procedure."

For the iwlwifi bits, Emmanuel says:

"I fix here dvm which was broken by my last pull request. Arik
continues to work on TDLS and Luca solved a few issues in CT-Kill. Eyal
keeps digging into rate scaling code, more to come soon. Besides this,
nothing really special here."

Beyond that, there are the usual big batches of updates to ath9k, b43,
mwifiex, and wil6210 as well as a handful of other bits here and there.
Also, rtlwifi gets some btcoexist attention from Larry.

Please let me know if there are problems!
====================

Had to adjust the wil6210 code to comply with Joe Perches's recent
change in net-next to make the netdev_*() routines return void instead
of 'int'.

d8d91253ba mwifiex: remove low priority scan handling
We have a logic in driver to delay or abort low priority scan
to serve Tx traffic effectively. With scan channel
gap support added, firmware now allows driver to send Tx data while
scan operation is in progress. Hence low priority scan handling
in driver is not required now. This patch removes related code.

cb91be87e1 mwifiex: bring in scan channel gap feature
With scan channel gap when any station/AP is active, FW comes back
to connected channel for any pending data transfter after scanning each
channel.
We set scan channel gap TLV to FW in scan command when any of the

Also when scan channel gap is enabled, we would scan maximum channels
allowed by FW.

Scan channel gap is supported only on FW with V15 FW API.

a9c1c89eea mwifiex: set passive scan type for scan requests with no ssid
It was observed that station would sent probe request even when
scan type has been set as passive during iw scan.
This was happening because driver sets passive scan type only

Along with this, add condition to check if no ssids are specified in
scan request so as to mark such scan request passive.
