On sam9x5, dedicated CTS (and RTS) pins are unusable together with the
LCDC, the EMAC, or the MMC because they share the same line.
Moreover, the USART controller doesn't handle DTR/DSR/DCD/RI signals,
so we have to control them via GPIO.
This patch permits to use GPIOs to control the CTS/RTS/DTR/DSR/DCD/RI
signals.

The content of /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu*/online is still 1 for those
CPUs that the switcher has removed even though the global state in
/sys/devices/system/cpu/online is updated correctly.
It turns out that commit 0902a9044f ("Driver core: Use generic
offline/online for CPU offline/online") has changed the way those files
retrieve their content by relying on on the generic attribute handling
code. The switcher, by calling cpu_down() directly, bypasses this
handling and the attribute value doesn't get updated.
Fix this by calling device_offline()/device_online() instead.

Move the panel/encoder driver compatible-string converter from
arch/arm/mach-omap2/display.c to omapdss driver. That is a more logical
place for it, as it's really an omapdss internal hack.

Adds pinmux and DT node for Micron (MT29F4G08AB) x8 NAND device present on
am437x-gp-evm board.
(1) As NAND Flash data lines are muxed with eMMC, Thus at a given time either
eMMC or NAND can be enabled. Selection between eMMC and NAND is controlled:
(a) By dynamically driving following GPIO pin from software
SPI2_CS0(GPIO) == 0 NAND is selected (default)
SPI2_CS0(GPIO) == 1 eMMC is selected
(b) By statically using Jumper (J89) on the board
(2) As NAND device connnected to this board has page-size=4K and oob-size=224,
So ROM code expects boot-loaders to be flashed in BCH16 ECC scheme for
NAND boot.

The pll controller register set and device state control registers
include sets of registers with different purposes, so it's logically
to add syscon entry to be able to access them from appropriate places.
So added pll controller and device state control syscon entries.
The keystone driver requires the next additional properties:
"ti,syscon-pll" - phandle/offset pair. The phandle to syscon used to
access pll controller registers and the offset to use
reset control registers.
"ti,syscon-dev" - phandle/offset pair. The phandle to syscon used to
access device state control registers and the offset
in order to use mux block registers for all watchdogs.
"ti,wdt-list" - option to declare what watchdogs are used to reboot
the SoC, so set "0" WDT as default.

Merge "ARM: berlin: SoC changes for v3.16" from Sebastian Hesselbart:
Despite relatively young Berlin SoC support, we already have support
for a BG2Q SoC provided by Alexandre Belloni and Antoine Tenart. Also,
we gained support for DW gpio and a pinctrl driver.

ARM: berlin: add the pinctrl dependency for the Marvell Berlin SoCs
ARM: berlin: add the LIBGPIO as a dependency for the BG2Q
ARM: berlin: add MACH_BERLIN_BG2Q symbol
ARM: berlin: add Marvell Armada 1500 pro to Marvell doc
Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
BG2Q joins Berlin SoC family with corresponding development board, DW
gpio nodes for all SoCs. Most notably, we have settled clock bindings
to allow us to continue on drivers requiring clocks and pinctrl bindings.
Last but not least, BG2Q gained SDHCI support and is able to properly
boot into userspace.

The sunxi reset controller code is only used with sun6i (a31).
After the platform has been split up into per-soc options, it's
now possible to build it without the reset controller code, so
the base platform init must not call into the reset driver
if that is turned off at compile time.

The versatile express changes for 3.16 introduced a number of
build regressions for randconfig kernels by not tracking dependencies
between the components right.
This patch tries to rectify that:
* the mach-vexpress code cannot link without the syscfg driver,
which in turn needs MFD_VEXPRESS_SYSREG
* various drivers call devm_regmap_init_vexpress_config(), which
has to be exported so it can be used by loadable modules
* the configuration bus uses OF DT helper functions that are not
available to platforms disable CONFIG_OF
* The sysreg driver exports GPIOs through gpiolib, which can
be disabled on some platforms.
* The clocksource code cannot be built on platforms that don't
use modern timekeeping but rely on gettimeoffset.
Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
With the newly introduced CPU_METHOD_OF_DECLARE is not necessary anymore

On CPUs with virtualization extensions the kernel installs HYP mode
configuration on both primary and secondary cpus upon cold boot.
On platforms where CPUs are shutdown in idle paths (ie CPU core gating),
when a CPU resumes from low-power states it currently does not execute
code that reinstalls the HYP configuration, which means that the kernel
cannot run eg KVM properly on such machines.
This patch, mirroring cold-boot behaviour, executes position independent
code that reinstalls HYP configuration and drops to SVC mode safely on
warmboot, so that deep idle states can be enabled in kernel running as
hosts on platforms with power management HW.

After instruction write into xol area, on ARM V7
architecture code need to flush dcache and icache to sync
them up for given set of addresses. Having just
'flush_dcache_page(page)' call is not enough - it is
possible to have stale instruction sitting in icache
for given xol area slot address.
Introduce arch_uprobe_ixol_copy weak function
that by default calls uprobes copy_to_page function and
than flush_dcache_page function and on ARM define new one
that handles xol slot copy in ARM specific way
flush_uprobe_xol_access function shares/reuses implementation
with/of flush_ptrace_access function and takes care of writing
instruction to user land address space on given variety of
different cache types on ARM CPUs. Because
flush_uprobe_xol_access does not have vma around
flush_ptrace_access was split into two parts. First that
retrieves set of condition from vma and common that receives
those conditions as flags.
Note ARM cache flush function need kernel address
through which instruction write happened, so instead
of using uprobes copy_to_page function changed
code to explicitly map page and do memcpy.
Note arch_uprobe_copy_ixol function, in similar way as
copy_to_user_page function, has preempt_disable/preempt_enable.

because it suggests that this function is responsible for taking

This patch renames the affected functions to "wait_for_powerdown"

According to the ARM ARM, the behaviour is UNPREDICTABLE if the PC read
from the exception return stack is not half word aligned. See the
pseudo code for ExceptionReturn() and PopStack().
The signal handler's address has the bit 0 set, and setup_return()
directly writes this to regs->ARM_pc. Current hardware happens to
discard this bit, but QEMU's emulation doesn't and this makes processes
crash. Mask out bit 0 before the exception return in order to get
predictable behaviour.

The arm EABI states that unwind opcode 10100nnn means pop register r4-4[4+nnn],aditionally there is a similar unwind opcode: 10101nnn which means the same thing plus popping r14. Those two cases are handled by the unwind_exec_pop_r4_to_rN function which checks whether the 4th bit is set and does r14 popping.
However, up until now it has been checking whether the 8th bit was set (mask & 0x80) instead of the 4th (mask & 0x8), a simple to make typo but this meant that we were always popping r14 even if we had the former opcode.
This patch changes the mask so that the 2 unwind opcodes are being handled correctly.

Patches from Anders Berg applied individually:
Here is version 4 of platform support for AXM5516 SoC.
The clk driver is now applied to clk-next. The rest should be ready for
arm-soc. Haven't got any response from the power/reset maintainers... I hope
this driver can be taken via arm-soc as well.
The AXM55xx family consists of devices that may contain up to 16 ARM Cortex-A15
cores (in a 4x4 cluster configuration). The cores within each cluster share an
L2 cache, and the clusters are connected to each other via a CCN-504 cache

above 4GB in the memory map.

DT support for 'dma-ranges'and 'dma-coherent' properties with ARM updates

Currently oscillator frequency is determined based on sysboot settings,
it may not be the case always. To determine it properly, efuse settings
also has to be read. CONTROL_STATUS register holds this information.
Bit 31: if 0, frequency to be determined based on sysboot
if 1, frequency to be determined based on efuse
Bit 29,30 - for efuse detection of frequency
Bit 22,23 - for sysboot detection of frequency
Add clock nodes (mux) to determine oscillator frequency as above.

Spear calls outer_flush_all() from it's SMP bringup function. This
is potentially dangerous as the L2C set/way operations which implement

that the stacktraces always begin as follows:
[<c00117b4>] save_stack_trace_tsk+0x0/0x98
[<c0011870>] save_stack_trace+0x24/0x28

This is because the stack trace code includes the stack frames for itself.
This is incorrect behaviour, and also leads to "skip" doing the wrong
thing (which is the number of stack frames to avoid recording.)
Perversely, it does the right thing when passed a non-current thread. Fix
this by ensuring that we have a known constant number of frames above the
main stack trace function, and always skip these.

Avoid calling dma_cache_maint_page() when unmapping a DMA_TO_DEVICE
buffer. The L1 cache ops never do anything in this circumstance, nor
do they ever need to - all that matters for this case is that the data
written is visible to the device before DMA starts. What happens during
the transfer (provided the buffer is not written to) is of no real
consequence.
We already do this optimisation for the L2 cache.

In the refactoring of the coherency fabric assembly code, a function
called ll_get_cpuid() was created to factorize common logic between
functions adding CPU to the SMP coherency group, enabling and
disabling the coherency.
However, the name of the function is highly misleading: ll_get_cpuid()
makes one think tat it returns the ID of the CPU, i.e 0 for CPU0, 1
for CPU1, etc. In fact, this is not at all what this function returns:
it returns a CPU mask for the current CPU, usable for the coherency
fabric configuration and control registers.
Therefore this commit renames this function to
ll_get_coherency_cpumask(), and adds additional comments on top of the
function to explain in more details what it does, and also how the
endianess issue is handled.

The Marvell Armada 375 and Armada 38x SOCs, which use the Cortex-A9
CPU core, the PL310 cache and the Marvell PCIe hardware block are
affected a L2/PCIe deadlock caused by a system erratum when hardware
I/O coherency is used.
This deadlock can be avoided by mapping the PCIe memory areas as
strongly-ordered (note: MT_UNCACHED is strongly-ordered), and by
removing the outer cache sync done in software. This is implemented in
this patch by:
* Registering a custom arch_ioremap_caller function that allows to
make sure PCI memory regions are mapped MT_UNCACHED.
* Adding at runtime the 'arm,io-coherent' property to the PL310 cache
controller. This cannot be done permanently in the DT, because the
hardware I/O coherency can only be enabled when CONFIG_SMP is
enabled, in the current kernel situation.

ap6210 or ap6330 sdio wifi + bt (broadcom sdio wifi + uart attached brcm bt),
2USB host ports using USB-A receptacles and a micro-usb receptacle for USB OTG,
and 100Mbit ethernet using an IP101a phy.
The PCB is labelled i12-a20 hence I've named the board i12-a20. It is used
in noname allwinner A20 tv-boxes, which are sometimes sold with Q5 or
QT840A as product name.

The following parameters are no longer needed by the edma driver since the
information can be obtained from the IP's CCCFG register:
n_channel, n_region, n_slot and n_tc.
Remove the initialization of n_cc as well since in this context it has no
meaning. We have separate edma_soc_info struct/eDMA3_CC instance so this
member does not make any sense (and the driver no longer uses it).

Merge "ARM: tegra: defconfig updates for 3.16" from Stephen Warren:
AT24C EEPROM:
This is used for the board ID EEPROM on Jetson TK1, as well as likely
a whole slew of other NVIDIA reference boards; we simply haven't added
enabled the EEPROM in the DT files until now.
MTD_SPI_NOR:
This defconfig contains the CONFIG_M25P80 symbol, which is now
dependent on the MTD_SPI_NOR symbol. Add CONFIG_MTD_SPI_NOR to satisfy
the new dependency.
FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE_ROTATION:
Needed for devices like Tegra Note 7 and NVIDIA SHIELD to get the boot
console in the expected orientation.

This series reworks VE's platform configuration infrastructure by:
- making it possible to instantiate selected devices from the
Device Tree, prior to massive population,
- converting custom "func" API into standard "regmap",
- splitting the existing MFD driver into smaller ones and placing
them into relevant directories.
The common clock framework driver can now be selected individually
(mostly for arm64 sake, where some of them are not used at all).
It also simplifies the machine code, by:
- moving the shed clock info clocksource driver,
- simplifying SMP operations to base them entirely of the DT data,
- moving platform ID checks into relevant driver.

The B2020 RevE differs from the other B2020 boards in a few subtle ways;
including the Ethernet reset GPIO which this patch adds support for and
the LED wiring which will follow in a latter patch. Without supplying
these differences Ethernet and the board LEDs simply will not work.

Most archs with HAVE_ARCH_CALLER_ADDR have pretty much the same
definitions of CALLER_ADDRx(n). Instead of duplicating the code for all
the archs, define a ftrace_return_address0() and
ftrace_return_address(n) that can be overwritten by the archs if they
need to do something different. Instead of 7 macros in every arch, we
now only have at most 2 (and actually only 1 as
ftrace_return_address0() should be the same for all archs).
The CALLER_ADDRx(n) will now be defined in linux/ftrace.h and use the
ftrace_return_address*(n?) macros. This removes a lot of the duplicate
code.
