84e871660b ARM: at91: pm: fix at91rm9200 standby
at91rm9200 standby and suspend to ram has been broken since
00482a4078. It is wrongly using AT91_BASE_SYS which is a physical address
and actually doesn't correspond to any register on at91rm9200.

Use the correct at91_ramc_base[0] instead.

02f513a097 pm: at91: Workaround DDRSDRC self-refresh bug with LPDDR1 memories.
The DDRSDR controller fails miserably to put LPDDR1 memories in
self-refresh. Force the controller to think it has DDR2 memories
during the self-refresh period, as the DDR2 self-refresh spec is
equivalent to LPDDR1, and is correctly implemented in the
controller.

Assume that the second controller has the same fault, but that is
untested.

ad4a38d218 pm: at91: pm_slowclock: fix suspend/resume hang up in timeouts
Removed timeout on XTAL, PLL lock and Master Clock Ready, hang if
something went wrong instead of continuing in unknown condition. There
is not much we can do if a PLL lock never ends, we are running in SRAM
and we will not be able to connect back the sdram or ddram in order to
be able to fire up a message or just panic.

As a bonus, not decounting the timeout register in slow clock mode
reduce cumulated suspend time and resume time from ~17ms to ~15ms.

444d2d33d8 ARM: make of_device_ids const
of_device_ids (i.e. compatible strings and the respective data) are not
supposed to change at runtime. All functions working with of_device_ids
provided by <linux/of.h> work with const of_device_ids. So mark the
non-const structs in arch/arm as const, too.

While at it also add some __initconst annotations.

a91c5824dd ARM: at91: fix pm declarations
In a recent rearrangement of the at91 pm initialization code, a broken
set of declarations was added for the !CONFIG_PM-case, leading to
this link error:

arch/arm/mach-at91/board-dt-sama5.o: In function `at91_rm9200_pm_init':
arch/arm/mach-at91/generic.h:40: multiple definition of `at91_rm9200_pm_init'

creating a copy of the functions in each file that includes the
header.

Remove the string "(Device Tree)" after the machine name because all AT91

- sama5 are the ones that don't have the at91 prefix anymore.

Linus Torvalds
6c9e92476b ARM: SoC cleanups for 3.19
The remaining cleanups for 3.19 are to a large part result of
devicetree conversion nearing completion on two other platforms
 besides AT91:

 * Like AT91, Renesas shmobile is in the process to migrate to DT and
multiplatform, but using a different approach of doing it one
SoC at a time. For 3.19, the r8a7791 platform and associated\
"Koelsch" board are considered complete and we remove the non-DT
   non-multiplatform support for this.

 * The ARM Versatile Express has supported DT and multiplatform
for a long time, but we have still kept the legacy board files
around, because not all drivers were fully working before. We
have finally taken the last step to remove the board files.

Other changes in this branch are preparation for the later branches
or just unrelated to the more interesting changes:

Merge tag 'cleanup-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc

Pull ARM SoC cleanups from Arnd Bergmann:
"The remaining cleanups for 3.19 are to a large part result of
devicetree conversion nearing completion on two other platforms
  besides AT91:

   - Like AT91, Renesas shmobile is in the process to migrate to DT and
multiplatform, but using a different approach of doing it one SoC
at a time. For 3.19, the r8a7791 platform and associated "Koelsch"
board are considered complete and we remove the non-DT
     non-multiplatform support for this.

   - The ARM Versatile Express has supported DT and multiplatform for a
long time, but we have still kept the legacy board files around,
because not all drivers were fully working before. We have finally
taken the last step to remove the board files.

Other changes in this branch are preparation for the later branches or
just unrelated to the more interesting changes:

   - The dts files for arm64 get moved into per-vendor directories for a
     clearer structure.

   - Some dead code removal (zynq, exynos, davinci, imx)

   - Using pr_*() macros more consistently instead of printk(KERN_*) in

0563fdc0d9 ARM: SoC cleanup on mach-at91 for 3.19
On Atmel AT91, the conversion to device tree is now considered complete,
and all machines that were not already converted in 3.18 are assumed to
be unused and dropped by the maintainer.

All remaining board files that were written in C are dropped, and the
ancient at91x40 sub-platform (based on an MMU-less ARM7) is removed
altogether. Cleaning up the last pieces was great fun, so I took the
time to do some of the coding myself and removed several hundred code
lines that ended up unused after the board files were done.

There are still a couple of AT91 specific device drivers that are not
converted to DT (CF, USB-OTG) and currently not working, and the platform
itself is not "multiplatform"-enabled, but both issues are going to be
taken care of in the 3.20 cycle.

This is split out from the other cleanups purely based on the size
 of the branch.

440ae45119 ARM: at91: remove useless init_time for DT-only SoCs
Commits bcf8c7e770 and
4bf7753b8a introduced compilation errors
("error: 'NR_IRQS_LEGACY' undeclared (first use in this function)") because
they remove the asm/irq.h inclusion while the init_time function needs it
for the NR_IRQS_LEGACY definition.

In the other hand, the point of these commits is to remove board file
support, and init_time is only needed when booting non-DT boards, we can
thus safely remove init_time functions.

8b45bc892e ARM: SoC driver updates for 3.18
These are changes for drivers that are intimately tied to some SoC
and for some reason could not get merged through the respective
 subsystem maintainer tree.

Most of the new code is for the Keystone Navigator driver, which is
new base support that is going to be needed for their hardware
accelerated network driver and other units.

Most of the commits are for moving old code around from at91 and omap
for things that are done in device drivers nowadays.

 - at91: move reset, poweroff, memory and clocksource code into drivers
   directories
 - socfpga: add edac driver (through arm-soc, as requested by Boris)
 - omap: move omap-intc code to drivers/irqchip
 - sunxi: added an RTC driver for sun6i
 - omap: mailbox driver related changes
 - keystone: support for the "Navigator" component
 - versatile: new reboot, led and soc drivers

212fe84a6f ARM: SoC cleanups for 3.18
This time around, the cleanup branch contains mostly code removal. A number
of board files for at91, imx and msm have become obsolete because of the
DT conversion and are now ready to be removed. The OMAP platform has
traditionally had its own DMA engine abstraction and as this is being
phased out, a lot of the original code is now unused and can be removed
 as well.

S3C24xx can be simplified now that the restart code is a proper device
 driver.

Finally, a number of cleanups in shmobile are done to prepare for
the addition of new code in other branches.

The newly introduced support for SAMA5D4 added access to the

We really should not hardwire addresses like this any more,

4334ac2db2 pinctrl: at91: add drive strength configuration
The SAMA5 and SAM9x5 series both have drive strength
options for the PIOs. This patch adds the ability to set
one of three hardware options for drive strengths of low,
medium or high for the each pin. The actual current output
of the chip based on the setting is defined in the datasheets
and varies per pins separate from banks and with supply
voltage.

This patch adds three new dt-bindings that allow setting the
strength when configuring pins. By default, no change will
be made to the drive strength of a pin from its reset value.
Due to the difference between the register addresses of the
SAMA5 and SAM9x5 series, a new sama5d3-pinctrl id was added.

f807a89cfe ARM: at91: PIT: Rework probe functions
The PIT timer driver until now had a single probe function, disregarding wether
it was probed through DT or in the old-style way. This code later on was
calling some DT function to retrieve the proper values for its base address,
interrupts and clocks.

While this was working, it was preventing the usage of CLOCKSOURCE_OF_DECLARE,
and the two different probe path were not as clearly separated as they could
be.

Rework the probe path to take this into account, and switch to
CLOCKSOURCE_OF_DECLARE.

a7d84d73b9 ARM: at91: PIT: Use of_have_populated_dt instead of CONFIG_OF
Until now, the machines, even when CONFIG_OF was enabled, were calling
at91sam926x_ioremap_pit to try to map the PIT address using the defined
physical address.

Obviously, with DT, it's not appropriate anymore, and some code was added to
the function to deal with this case.

Unfortunately, this code was conditionned on CONFIG_OF, which can be enabled,
even though no DT was actually used, which would result in such a case, to this
code being executed, without any reason.

Moreover, the logic that was here before to bail out of the function just check
in the DT to see if the PIT node is there, which is the case in all our DTSI.

All this can be made much more straightforward just by using
of_have_populated_dt to bail out.

06b49ea43c This is the bulk of GPIO changes for the v3.17 development
cycle, and this time we got a lot of action going on and
 it will continue:

 - The core GPIO library implementation has been split up in
   three different files:
   - gpiolib.c for the latest and greatest and shiny GPIO
library code using GPIO descriptors only
   - gpiolib-legacy.c for the old integer number space API
that we are phasing out gradually
   - gpiolib-sysfs.c for the sysfs interface that we are
not entirely happy with, but has to live on for
     ABI compatibility

 - Add a flags argument to *gpiod_get* functions, with some
backward-compatibility macros to ease transitions. We
should have had the flags there from the beginning it
seems, now we need to clean up the mess. There is a plan
on how to move forward here devised by Alexandre Courbot
   and Mark Brown.

 - Split off a special <linux/gpio/machine.h> header for the
board gpio table registration, as per example from the
   regulator subsystem.

 - Start to kill off the return value from gpiochip_remove()
by removing the __must_check attribute and removing all
checks inside the drivers/gpio directory. The rationale
is: well what were we supposed to do if there is an error
code? Not much: print an error message. And gpiolib already
does that. So make this function return void eventually.

 - Some cleanups of hairy gpiolib code, make some functions
not to be used outside the library private and make sure
they are not exported, remove gpiod_lock/unlock_as_irq()
as the existing function is for driver-internal use and
fine as it is, delete gpio_ensure_requested() as it is
   not meaningful anymore.

 - Support the GPIOF_ACTIVE_LOW flag from gpio_request_one()
function calls, which is logical since this is already
supported when referencing GPIOs from e.g. device trees.

 - Switch STMPE, intel-mid, lynxpoint and ACPI (!) to use
the gpiolib irqchip helpers cutting down on GPIO irqchip
   boilerplate a bit more.

 - New driver for the Zynq GPIO block.

 - The usual incremental improvements around a bunch of
   drivers.

 - Janitorial syntactic and semantic cleanups by Jingoo Han,
   and Rickard Strandqvist especially.

calls, which is logical since this is already supported when
referencing GPIOs from e.g. device trees

   - Switch STMPE, intel-mid, lynxpoint and ACPI (!) to use the gpiolib
irqchip helpers cutting down on GPIO irqchip boilerplate a bit more

   - New driver for the Zynq GPIO block

   - The usual incremental improvements around a bunch of drivers

   - Janitorial syntactic and semantic cleanups by Jingoo Han, and
     Rickard Strandqvist especially"

10c8e05620 ARM: SoC driver changes for 3.17
A handful of driver-related changes. We've had a bunch of them going in through
other branches as well, so it's only a part of what we really have this release.

 Larger pieces are:

 * Removal of a now unused PWM driver for atmel
   - This includes AVR32 changes that have been appropriately acked.
 * Performance counter support for the arm CCN interconnect
 * OMAP mailbox driver cleanups and consolidation
 * PCI and SATA PHY drivers for SPEAr 13xx platforms
 * Redefinition (with backwards compatibility!) of PCI DT bindings for Tegra to
   better model regulators/power.

Note: this merge also fixes up the semantic conflict with the new
calling convention for devm_phy_create(), see commit f0ed817638 ("phy:
core: Let node ptr of PHY point to PHY and not of PHY provider") that
came in through Greg's USB tree.

Semantic merge patch by Stephen Rothwell <sfr@canb.auug.org.au> through
the next tree.
