Per Phil, "this is odd as MSI works before and after your patch. Since bit

used for endpoints. However, you are correct that the bit used was wrong."

Pull ACPI and power management updates from Rafael Wysocki:
"We have a few new features this time, including a new SFI-based
cpufreq driver, a new devfreq driver for Tegra Activity Monitor, a new
devfreq class for providing its governors with raw utilization data
and a new ACPI driver for AMD SoCs.
Still, the majority of changes here are reworks of existing code to
make it more straightforward or to prepare it for implementing new
features on top of it. The primary example is the rework of ACPI
resources handling from Jiang Liu, Thomas Gleixner and Lv Zheng with
support for IOAPIC hotplug implemented on top of it, but there is
quite a number of changes of this kind in the cpufreq core, ACPICA,
ACPI EC driver, ACPI processor driver and the generic power domains

The most active developer is Viresh Kumar with his cpufreq changes.

The xilinx PCIe driver prints a register value whose type is propagated to
the type returned by the GENMASK() macro. Unfortunately, that type has
recently changed as the result of a bug fix, so now we get a warning about
the type:
drivers/pci/host/pcie-xilinx.c: In function 'xilinx_pcie_clear_err_interrupts':
drivers/pci/host/pcie-xilinx.c:154:3: warning: format '%d' expects argument of type 'int', but argument 4 has type 'long unsigned int' [-Wformat=]
Change the code so we always print the number as an 'unsigned long' type to
avoid the warning. The original code was fine on 32-bit architectures but
not on 64-bit. Now it works as expected on both.

Most if not all ARM PCI host controller device drivers either ignore the
domain field in the pci_sys_data structure or just increment it every time
a host controller is probed, using it as a domain counter.
Therefore, instead of relying on pci_sys_data to stash the domain number in
a standard location, ARM pcibios code can be moved to the newly introduced
generic PCI domains code, implemented in commits:
41e5c0f81d ("of/pci: Add pci_get_new_domain_nr() and of_get_pci_domain_nr()")
670ba0c888 ("PCI: Add generic domain handling")
ARM code is made to select PCI_DOMAINS_GENERIC by default, which builds
core PCI code that assigns the domain number through the generic function:
void pci_bus_assign_domain_nr(...)
that relies on a DT property to define the domain number or falls back to a
counter according to a predefined logic; its usage replaces the current
domain assignment code in PCI host controllers present in the kernel.

Pull irq domain updates from Thomas Gleixner:
"The real interesting irq updates:
- Support for hierarchical irq domains:
For complex interrupt routing scenarios where more than one
interrupt related chip is involved we had no proper representation
in the generic interrupt infrastructure so far. That made people
implement rather ugly constructs in their nested irq chip
implementations. The main offenders are x86 and arm/gic.
To distangle that mess we have now hierarchical irqdomains which
seperate the various interrupt chips and connect them via the
hierarchical domains. That keeps the domain specific details
internal to the particular hierarchy level and removes the
criss/cross referencing of chip internals. The resulting hierarchy
for a complex x86 system will look like this:
vector mapped: 74
msi-0 mapped: 2
dmar-ir-1 mapped: 69
ioapic-1 mapped: 4
ioapic-0 mapped: 20
pci-msi-2 mapped: 45
dmar-ir-0 mapped: 3
ioapic-2 mapped: 1
pci-msi-1 mapped: 2
htirq mapped: 0
Neither ioapic nor pci-msi know about the dmar interrupt remapping
between themself and the vector domain. If interrupt remapping is
disabled ioapic and pci-msi become direct childs of the vector
domain.
In hindsight we should have done that years ago, but in hindsight
we always know better :)
- Support for generic MSI interrupt domain handling
We have more and more non PCI related MSI interrupts, so providing
a generic infrastructure for this is better than having all
affected architectures implementing their own private hacks.
- Support for PCI-MSI interrupt domain handling, based on the generic
MSI support.
This part carries the pci/msi branch from Bjorn Helgaas pci tree to
avoid a massive conflict. The PCI/MSI parts are acked by Bjorn.
I have two more branches on top of this. The full conversion of x86
to hierarchical domains and a partial conversion of arm/gic"

Commit 0b0b0893d4 ("of/pci: Fix the conversion of IO ranges into IO
resources") changed how I/O resources are parsed from DT. Rather than
containing the physical address of the I/O region, the addresses will now
be in I/O address space.
On Tegra the union of all ranges is used to expose a top-level memory-
mapped resource for the PCI host bridge. This helps to make /proc/iomem
more readable.
Combining both of the above, the union would now include the I/O space
region. This causes a regression on Tegra20, where the physical base
address of the PCIe controller (and therefore of the union) is located at
physical address 0x80000000. Since I/O space starts at 0, the union will
now include all of system RAM which starts at 0x00000000.
This commit fixes this by keeping two copies of the I/O range: one that
represents the range in the CPU's physical address space, the other for the
range in the I/O address space. This allows the translation setup within

In order to consolidate DT configuration for PCI host controllers in the
kernel, a new API, of_pci_get_host_bridge_resources(), was developed to
allow parsing and assigning IO/BUS/MEM resources from DT, removing
duplicated code present in the majority of PCI host driver implementations.
Convert the existing PCI generic host controller driver to the new API.
Most of the code parsing ranges and creating resources is now delegated to
the of_pci_get_host_bridge_resources() API.
The PCI host controller code filters the resulting resource list and maps
IO space by using the newly introduced pci_ioremap_iospace() API.
New code supports only one IO resource per generic host controller, which
should cater for all existing host controller configurations.

For boards without a reset GPIO we skip the delay between enabling the
pcie_ref_clk and touching the RC registers for configuration. This hangs
the system if there isn't a proper delay to ensure the clocks are settled
in the DW PCIe core.
Also iMX6Q always needs an additional 10us delay to make sure the reset is
propagated through the core, as we don't have an explicitly controlled
reset input on this SoC.
This fixes a problem with 3fce0e882f ("PCI: imx6: Delay enabling
reference clock for SS until it stabilizes"): the kernel doesn't boot on
systems that don't pass the PCI GPIO reset in the DTB. This regression
affects mx6 nitrogen boards.

The ranges property for a host bridge controller in DT describes the
mapping between the PCI bus address and the CPU physical address. The
resources framework however expects that the IO resources start at a pseudo
"port" address 0 (zero) and have a maximum size of IO_SPACE_LIMIT. The
conversion from PCI ranges to resources failed to take that into account,
returning a CPU physical address instead of a port number.
Also fix all the drivers that depend on the old behaviour by fetching the
CPU physical address based on the port number where it is being needed.

K2E SoC has two PCI ports. The SATA controller is connected to second PCI
port (port 1). To support multiple port handling in Keystone PCI driver,
read the PCI device ID dynamically by iomap/read/unmap during probe and
save it in driver's private data and update it in host init code. The PCI
device ID field in the RC's config space is not filled by default by the
hardware and has to be updated by the PCI driver by reading the same from
the SoC register indicated by reg index #2 in DT bindings.

Keystone PCI hardware supports both RC and EP modes and devcfg register has
bits to boot strap the device to either of these modes. It seems proper to
add this functionality to the boot loader rather than in the driver as
device will be operating in either mode, not both any time. Currently the
driver supports only RC mode and hence register configuration in the driver
is not needed and the driver can assume the hardware is in RC mode.
Also update the DT documentation accordingly.

According to the IMX6 reference manuals, REF_SSP_EN (Reference clock enable

running at the appropriate frequency.
Delay enabling the reference clock for the SS function until it has
stabilized. This prevents a high link failure rate (>5%) on certain IMX6

Use pci_create_root_bus() similar to other PCI host controller drivers.
The main problem with pci_scan_root_bus() is that it not only creates the
root bus, but also activates all devices on the bus. This triggers PCI
device driver probe routines, which fail because resources haven't been
allocated.
To work around this we made sure that the host controller driver is probed
early and finishes resource allocation before any other device drivers are
registered. Switching to pci_create_root_bus() allows us to get rid of
this special handling.

All of the application register space handing code is organized into

Currently the resource hierarchy generated from the PCIe host bridge is
completely flat:
$ cat /proc/iomem

28000000-28003fff : r8169
28004000-28004fff : r8169
...
The host bridge driver doesn't request all the resources that are used.
Windows allocated to each of the root ports aren't tracked, so there is no
way for resources allocated to individual devices to be matched up with the
correct parent resource by the PCI core.
This patch addresses this in two steps. It first takes the union of all
regions associated with the PCIe host bridge (control registers, root port
registers, configuration space, I/O and prefetchable as well as non-
prefetchable memory regions) and uses it as the new root of the resource
hierarchy.
Subsequently, regions are allocated from within this new root resource so
that the resource tree looks much more like what's expected:
# cat /proc/iomem
00000000-3fffffff : /pcie-controller@00003000

This fixes a boot hang observed when the bootloader already enabled the
PCIe link for its own use. The fundamental problem is that Freescale
forgot to wire up the core reset, so software doesn't have a sane way to
get the core into a defined state.
According to the DW PCIe core reference manual, configuration of the core
may only happen when the LTSSM is disabled, so this is one of the first
things we need to do. Apparently this isn't safe to do when the LTSSM is in
any state other than "detect" as we observe an instant machine hang when
trying to do so while the link is already up.
As a workaround, force LTSSM into detect state right before hitting the
disable switch. There is still a race window because the LTSSM may
transition out of "detect" before we can disable it, but it's the best
we can do for now.

The Keystone PCI controller is based on v3.65 DesignWare hardware. This
version differs from newer versions of the hardware in functional areas
discussed below that make it necessary to change dw_pcie_host_init() to
support v3.65 based PCI controller.
1. No support for ATU port. Any ATU-specific resource handling code is
to be bypassed for v3.65 h/w.
2. MSI controller uses application space to implement MSI and 32 MSI
interrupts are multiplexed over 8 IRQs to the host. Hence the code
to process MSI IRQ needs to be different. This patch allows
platform driver to provide its own irq_domain_ops ptr to
irq_domain_add_linear() through an API callback from the DesignWare
core driver.
3. MSI interrupt generation requires EP to write to the RC's
application register. So enhance the driver to allow setup of
inbound access to MSI IRQ register as a post scan bus API callback.

DesignWare v3.65 hardware implements MSI controller registers in
application space. This requires updates to the DesignWare core to
support controllers based on this older hardware.
Add msi_irq_set()/clear() interfaces to allow Set/Clear MSI IRQ enable bit
in the application register. Also, v3.65 hardware uses the MSI_IRQ
register in application register space to raise MSI IRQ to the RC from EP.
Current code uses the standard mechanism as per PCI spec. So add
get_msi_data() to get the address of this register so common code can
work on both v3.65 and newer hardware.

In DRA7, the CPU sees 32-bit addresses, but the PCIe controller can see
only 28-bit addresses. So whenever the CPU issues a read/write request,
the 4 most significant bits are used by L3 to determine the target
controller. For example, the CPU reserves [mem 0x20000000-0x2fffffff]
for the PCIe controller but the PCIe controller will see only
[0x00000000-0x0fffffff]. For programming the outbound translation
window the *base* should be programmed as 0x00000000. Whenever we try to
write to, e.g., 0x20000000, it will be translated to whatever we have
programmed in the translation window with base as 0x00000000.
This is needed when the dt node is modelled something like this:
axi {
compatible = "simple-bus";
#size-cells = <1>;
#address-cells = <1>;
ranges = <0x0 0x20000000 0x10000000 // 28-bit bus
0x51000000 0x51000000 0x3000>;
pcie@51000000 {
reg = <0x1000 0x2000>, <0x51002000 0x14c>, <0x51000000 0x2000>;
reg-names = "config", "ti_conf", "rc_dbics";
#address-cells = <3>;
#size-cells = <2>;
ranges = <0x81000000 0 0 0x03000 0 0x00010000
0x82000000 0 0x20013000 0x13000 0 0xffed000>;
};
};
Here the CPU address for configuration space is 0x20013000 and the
controller address for configuration space is 0x13000. The controller
address should be used while programming the ATU (in order for translation
to happen properly in DRA7xx).

MBus windows are used on Marvell platforms to map certain peripherals
in the physical address space. In the PCIe context, MBus windows are
needed to map PCIe I/O and memory regions in the physical address.
However, those MBus windows can only have power of two sizes, while
PCIe BAR do not necessarily guarantee this. For this reason, the
current pci-mvebu breaks on platforms where PCIe devices have BARs
that don't sum up to a power of two size at the emulated bridge level.
This commit fixes this by allowing the pci-mvebu driver to create
multiple contiguous MBus windows (each having a power of two size) to
cover a given PCIe BAR.
To achieve this, two functions are added: mvebu_pcie_add_windows() and
mvebu_pcie_del_windows() to respectively add and remove all the MBus
windows that are needed to map the provided PCIe region base and
size. The emulated PCI bridge code now calls those functions, instead
of directly calling the mvebu-mbus driver functions.

size. PCI uses an inclusive start/end address pair, which requires a
+1 when converting to size.
This only worked because a bug in the mbus driver allowed it to
silently accept and round up bogus sizes.
Fix this by adding one to the computed size.

This patch handles the case where the PCIe link is up and running, yet
drops into the LTSSM training mode. The link spends short time in the LTSSM
training mode, but the current code can misinterpret it as the link being
stalled. Waiting for the LTSSM training to complete fixes the issue.
Quoting Sascha:
This is broken since commit 7f9f40c01c ('PCI: imx6: Report "link up"
only after link training completes').
The designware driver changes the PORT_LOGIC_SPEED_CHANGE bit in
dw_pcie_host_init() which causes the link to be retrained. During the
next call to dw_pcie_rd_conf() the link is then reported being down and
the function returns PCIBIOS_DEVICE_NOT_FOUND resulting in nonfunctioning
PCIe.

The Synopsys PCIe core provides one pair of 32-bit BARs (BAR 0 and BAR 1).
The BARs can be configured as follows:
- One 64-bit BAR: BARs 0 and 1 are combined to form a single 64-bit BAR
- Two 32-bit BARs: BARs 0 and 1 are two independent 32-bit BARs

Marvell SoCs place the SoC number into the PCIe endpoint device ID. The
SoC stepping is placed into the PCIe revision. The old plat-orion PCIe
driver allowed this information to be seen in user space with a simple
lspci command.
The new driver places a virtual PCI-PCI bridge on top of these endpoints.
It has its own hard coded PCI device ID. Thus it is no longer possible to
see what the SoC is using lspci.
When initializing the PCI-PCI bridge, set its device ID and revision from
the underlying endpoint, thus restoring this functionality. Debian would
like to use this in order to aid installing the correct DTB file.

The mvebu PCI host controller driver uses an emulated PCI-to-PCI bridge to
leverage the core PCI kernel enumeration logic to dynamically create and
remove the MBus windows needed to access the memory and I/O regions of each
PCI interface.
In the context of this PCI-to-PCI bridge emulation, the driver emulates
all reads and writes to the PCI bridge registers. Upon a write to the
registers configuring the I/O base and limit, the driver was creating the
MBus window and calling pci_ioremap_io() to setup the mapping.
However, it turns out that accesses to these registers are made in an IRQ
disabled context, while pci_ioremap_io() is a potentially sleeping
function. Not only this is wrong, but it is causing fairly loud warnings
at boot time when the appropriate kernel hacking options are enabled.
This patch solves this by moving the pci_ioremap_io() call to the startup
of the driver. At this point, we don't know how many PCI interfaces will
be enabled, so we are simply remapping the entire PCI I/O space to virtual
addresses. This is reasonable since this I/O space is limited to 1 MB in
size, and also because the MBus windows continue to be created in a dynamic
fashion only when devices need them.

This series converts the Tegra DTs and drivers to use the common/
standard DMA and reset bindings, rather than custom bindings. It also
adds complete documentation for the Tegra clock bindings without
actually changing any binding definitions.
This conversion relies on a few sets of patches in branches from outside
the Tegra tree:
1) A patch to add an DMA channel request API which allows deferred probe
to be implemented.
2) A patch to implement a common part of the of_xlate function for DMA
controllers.
3) Some ASoC patches (which in turn rely on (1) above), which support
deferred probe during DMA channel allocation.
4) The Tegra clock driver changes for 3.14.
Consequently, this branch is based on a merge of all of those external
branches.
In turn, this branch is or will be pulled into a few places that either
rely on features introduced here, or would otherwise conflict with the
patches:
a) Tegra's own for-3.14/powergate and for-4.14/dt branches, to avoid
conflicts.
b) The DRM tree, which introduces new code that relies on the reset
controller framework introduced in this branch, and to avoid
conflicts.

Make pcie-io-aperture and the IO port MBUS ID in ranges optional. If not
provided the bridge reports to Linux that IO space mapping is not supported
and refuses to configure an IO MBUS window.
This allows both complete disable (do not specify pcie-io-aperture) and
per-port disable (do not specify a IO target ranges entry for the port).
Most PCIe devices these days do not require IO support to function, so
having an option to disable it in the driver is useful.

When PCI_COMMAND_MEMORY/PCI_COMMAND_IO are cleared, the bridge should not
allocate windows or even look at the window limit/base registers.
Otherwise we may set up bogus windows while the PCI core code performs
discovery. The core will leave PCI_COMMAND_IO cleared if it doesn't need
an IO window.

The emulated bridge does not support interrupts, so it should return the
value 0 for Interrupt Line and Interrupt Pin. This indicates that
interrupts are not supported.
Since Max_Lat and Min_Gnt are also in the same 32-bit word, we return
0 for them, which means "do not care."
This corrects an error message from the kernel:
pci 0000:00:01.0: of_irq_parse_pci() failed with rc=135
Which is due to the default return of 0xFFFFFFFF indicating that
interrupts are supported.
The error message regression was caused by 16b84e5a50 ("of/irq: Create

There are no writable bits in the secondary status register, only RO and
RW1C (write-1-to-clear) bits. The driver never sets any of the RW1C bits,
so the status register should always be 0, just remove the set from the
write path.
Someday the RW1C bits should be copied/cleared directly from registers in
the HW.

This adds internal PCI controller driver for R-Car Gen2 SoC. There are
three PCI controllers available with only a single EHCI/OHCI device
built-in on each PCI bus. This gives us three USB channels. Channel 0 is
shared with the USBHS device, while channel 2 is shared with the USBSS.
The PCI controllers do not support I/O port space mapping, and it is not

An imprecise abort is triggered when a port behind a switch is accessed
and no device is present. At enumeration, imprecise aborts are not enabled
thus this ends up getting deferred until the kernel has completed init. At
that point we must not adjust PC - the handler must do nothing, but a
handler must exist.
This fixes random crashes that occur right after freeing init.

The OF irq handling code has been overloading the term 'map' to refer to
both parsing the data in the device tree and mapping it to the internal
linux irq system. This is probably because the device tree does have the
concept of an 'interrupt-map' function for translating interrupt
references from one node to another, but 'map' is still confusing when
the primary purpose of some of the functions are to parse the DT data.
This patch renames all the of_irq_map_* functions to of_irq_parse_*
which makes it clear that there is a difference between the parsing
phase and the mapping phase. Kernel code can make use of just the
parsing or just the mapping support as needed by the subsystem.
The patch was generated mechanically with a handful of sed commands.

to the msi-parent DT property, and stores this reference in the

This branch contains mostly additions and changes to platform enablement
and SoC-level drivers. Since there's sometimes a dependency on device-tree
changes, there's also a fair amount of those in this branch.
Pieces worth mentioning are:
- Mbus driver for Marvell platforms, allowing kernel configuration

- Enablement of the mbus infrastructure from Marvell PCI-e drivers.
- Preparation of MSI support for Marvell platforms.
- Addition of new PCI-e host controller driver for Tegra platforms
- Some churn caused by sharing of macro names between i.MX 6Q and 6DL

- Various suspend/PM updates for Tegra, including LP1 support.
- Versatile Express support for MCPM, part of big little support.
- Allwinner platform support for A20 and A31 SoCs (dual and quad Cortex-A7)
- OMAP2+ support for DRA7, a new Cortex-A15-based SoC.
The code that touches other architectures are patches moving
MSI arch-specific functions over to weak symbols and removal of
ARCH_SUPPORTS_MSI, acked by PCI maintainers.

* Adds initial system suspend support for Tegra114, initially supporting
just CPU-power-gating during suspend.
* Adds "LP1" suspend mode support for all of Tegra20/30/114. This mode
both gates CPU power, and places the DRAM into self-refresh mode.
* A new DT-driven PCIe driver to Tegra20/30. The driver is also moved
from arch/arm/mach-tegra/ to drivers/pci/host/.

From: Stephen Warren:
ARM: tegra: core SoC enhancements for 3.12
This branch includes a number of enhancements to core SoC support for
Tegra devices. The major new features are:
* Adds a new CPU-power-gated cpuidle state for Tegra114.
The PCIe driver work depends on the following tag from Thomas Petazzoni:

Tegra20 HW appears to have a bug such that PCIe device interrupts,
whether they are legacy IRQs or MSI, are lost when LP2 is enabled. To
work around this, simply disable LP2 if any PCIe devices with interrupts
are present. Detect this via the IRQ domain map operation. This is
slightly over-conservative; if a device with an interrupt is present but
the driver does not actually use them, LP2 will still be disabled.
However, this is a reasonable trade-off which enables a simpler
workaround.

The registers PADS_REFCLK_CFG are an array of 16-bit data, one entry per
PCIe root port. For Tegra30, we therefore need to write a 3rd entry in
this array. Doing so makes the mini-PCIe slot on Beaver operate correctly.
While we're at it, add some #defines to partially document the fields

The Marvell PCIe driver uses an emulated PCI-to-PCI bridge to be able
to dynamically set up MBus address decoding windows for PCI I/O and
memory regions depending on the PCI devices enumerated by Linux.
However, this emulated PCI-to-PCI bridge logic makes the Linux PCI
core believe that prefetchable memory regions are supported (because
the registers are read/write), while in fact no adress decoding window
is ever created for such regions. Since the Marvell MBus address
decoding windows do not distinguish memory regions and prefetchable
memory regions, this patch takes a simple approach: change the
PCI-to-PCI bridge emulation to let the Linux PCI core know that we
don't support prefetchable memory regions.
To achieve this, we simply make the prefetchable memory base a
read-only register that always returns 0. Reading/writing all the
other prefetchable memory related registers has no effect.
This problem was originally reported by Finn Hoffmann
<finn@uni-bremen.de>, who couldn't get a RTL8111/8168B PCI NIC working
on the NSA310 Kirkwood platform after updating to 3.11-rc. The problem
was that the PCI-to-PCI bridge emulation was making the Linux PCI core
believe that we support prefetchable memory, so the Linux PCI core was
only filling the prefetchable memory base and limit registers, which
does not lead to a MBus window being created. The below patch has been
confirmed by Finn Hoffmann to fix his problem on Kirkwood, and has
otherwise been successfully tested on the Armada XP GP platform with a
e1000e PCIe NIC and a Marvell SATA PCIe card.

The status register of the PCI configuration space of PCI-to-PCI
bridges contain some read-only bits, and so write-1-to-clear bits. So,
the Linux PCI core sometimes writes 0xffff to this status register,
and in the current PCI-to-PCI bridge emulation code of the Marvell
driver, we do take all those 1s being written. Even the read-only bits
are being overwritten.
For now, all the read-only bits should be emulated to have the zero
value.
The other bits, that are write-1-to-clear bits are used to report
various kind of errors, and are never set by the emulated bridge, so
there is no need to support this write-1-to-clear bits mechanism.
As a conclusion, the easiest solution is to simply emulate this status
register by returning zero when read, and ignore the writes to it.
This has two visible effects:
* The devsel is no longer 'unknown' in, i.e
Flags: bus master, 66MHz, user-definable features, ?? devsel, latency 0
becomes:
Flags: bus master, 66MHz, user-definable features, fast devsel, latency 0
in lspci -v.
This was caused by a value of 11b being read for devsel, which is
an invalid value. This 11b value being read was due to a previous
write of 0xffff into the status register.
* The capability list is no longer broken, because we indicate to the
Linux PCI core that we don't have a Capabilities Pointer in the PCI
configuration space of this bridge. The following message is
therefore no longer visible in lspci -v:
Capabilities: [fc] <chain broken>

Until now, the Marvell PCIe driver was only allowing the enumeration
of the devices in the secondary bus of the emulated PCI-to-PCI
bridge. This works fine when a PCIe device is directly connected into
a PCIe slot of the Marvell board.
However, when the device connected in the PCIe slot is a physical PCIe
bridge, beyond which a real PCIe device is connected, it no longer
worked, as the driver was preventing the Linux PCI core from seeing
such devices.
This commit fixes that by ensuring that configuration transactions on
subordinate busses are properly forwarded on the right PCIe interface.
Thanks to this patch, a PCIe card beyond a PCIe bridge, itself beyond
the emulated PCI-to-PCI bridge is properly detected, with the
following layout:
-[0000:00]-+-01.0-[01]----00.0
+-09.0-[02-07]----00.0-[03-07]--+-01.0-[04]--
| +-05.0-[05]--
| +-07.0-[06]--
| \-09.0-[07]----00.0
\-0a.0-[08]----00.0
Where the PCIe interface that sits beyond the emulated PCI-to-PCI
bridge at 09.0 allows to access the secondary bus 02, on which there
is a PCIe bridge that allows to access the 3 to 7 busses, that are
subordinates to this bridge. And on one of this bus (bus 7), there is
one real PCIe device connected.

By default, the Marvell hardware, for each PCIe interface, exhibits
the following devices:
* On slot 0, a "Marvell Memory controller", identical on all PCIe
interfaces, and which isn't useful when the Marvell SoC is the PCIe
root complex (i.e, the normal case when we run Linux on the Marvell
SoC).
* On slot 1, the real PCIe card connected into the PCIe slot of the
board.
So, what the Marvell PCIe driver was doing in its PCI-to-PCI bridge
emulation is that when the Linux PCI core was trying to access the
device in slot 0, we were in fact forwarding the configuration
transaction to the device in slot 1. For all other slots, we were
telling the Linux PCI core that there was no device connected.
However, new versions of bootloaders from Marvell change the default
PCIe configuration, and make the real device appear in slot 0, and the
"Marvell Memory controller" in slot 1.
Therefore, this commit modifies the Marvell PCIe driver to adjust the
PCIe hardware configuration to make sure that this behavior (real
device in slot 0, "Marvell Memory controller" in slot 1) is the one
we'll see regardless of what the bootloader has done. It allows to
remove the little hack that was forwarding configuration transactions
on slot 0 to slot 1, which is nice.

This driver implements the support for the PCIe interfaces on the
Marvell Armada 370/XP ARM SoCs. In the future, it might be extended to
cover earlier families of Marvell SoCs, such as Dove, Orion and
Kirkwood.
The driver implements the hw_pci operations needed by the core ARM PCI
code to setup PCI devices and get their corresponding IRQs, and the
pci_ops operations that are used by the PCI core to read/write the
configuration space of PCI devices.
Since the PCIe interfaces of Marvell SoCs are completely separate and
not linked together in a bus, this driver sets up an emulated PCI host
bridge, with one PCI-to-PCI bridge as child for each hardware PCIe
interface.
In addition, this driver enumerates the different PCIe slots, and for
those having a device plugged in, it sets up the necessary address
decoding windows, using the mvebu-mbus driver.
