41775e29a7 procfs: Use generic_file_llseek in /proc/kmsg
No need to hold the bkl to seek here, none of the other
fops callbacks use it.

Use generic_file_llseek explicitly.

d78ca3cd73 syslog: use defined constants instead of raw numbers
Right now the syslog "type" action are just raw numbers which makes
the source difficult to follow. This patch replaces the raw numbers
with defined constants for some level of sanity.

002345925e syslog: distinguish between /proc/kmsg and syscalls
This allows the LSM to distinguish between syslog functions originating
from /proc/kmsg access and direct syscalls. By default, the commoncaps
will now no longer require CAP_SYS_ADMIN to read an opened /proc/kmsg
file descriptor. For example the kernel syslog reader can now drop
privileges after opening /proc/kmsg, instead of staying privileged with
CAP_SYS_ADMIN. MAC systems that implement security_syslog have unchanged
behavior.

6e644c3126 move proc_kmsg_operations to fs/proc/internal.h
This patch moves the extern of struct proc_kmsg_operations to
fs/proc/internal.h and adds an #include "internal.h" to fs/proc/kmsg.c
so that the latter sees the former.

4b6f5d20b0 [PATCH] Make most file operations structs in fs/ const
This is a conversion to make the various file_operations structs in fs/
const. Basically a regexp job, with a few manual fixups

The goal is both to increase correctness (harder to accidentally write to
shared datastructures) and reducing the false sharing of cachelines with
things that get dirty in .data (while .rodata is nicely read only and thus
cache clean)

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.

Let it rip!
