Emitting netdev_alloc_skb and netdev_alloc_skb_ip_align OOM
messages is unnecessary as there is already a dump_stack
after allocation failures.
Other trivial changes around these removals:
Convert a few comparisons of pointer to 0 to !pointer.
Change flow to remove unnecessary label.
Remove now unused variable.
Hoist assignment from if.

Here is the big driver core merge for 3.9-rc1
There are two major series here, both of which touch lots of drivers all
over the kernel, and will cause you some merge conflicts:
- add a new function called devm_ioremap_resource() to properly be
able to check return values.
- remove CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL
If you need me to provide a merged tree to handle these resolutions,
please let me know.
Other than those patches, there's not much here, some minor fixes and
updates.

The CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL config item has not carried much meaning for a

The last update to the Ethernet HowTo (over 10 years ago) listed this:
------------------------
SEEQ 8005
Status: Obsolete, Driver Name: seeq8005
There is little information about the card included in the driver,
and hence little information to be put here. If you have a question,
you are probably best trying to e-mail the driver author as listed
in the source.
It was marked obsolete as of the 2.4 series kernels.
------------------------
If it was obsolete over a decade ago, the situation can not have
improved with the passage of time, so let us act on that. Even with
today's improved search engines, I was unable to locate any real
meaningful information on the ISA implementation of this rare chip.
There are ARM and SGI variants of the driver in tree, but they do
not depend on the original x86 driver source or header file. We
leave those non-x86 drivers to be deleted by the arch maintainers
when they decide to expire those legacy platforms as a whole.

If ndo_validate_addr is set to the generic eth_validate_addr
function there is no point in calling is_valid_ether_addr
from driver ndo_open if ndo_open is not used elsewhere in
the driver.
With this change is_valid_ether_addr will be called from the
generic eth_validate_addr function. So there should be no change
in the actual behavior.

the driver sees wether the dev_seeq pointer is having a error that can be
read by using the PTR_ERR, and returns it at error case, other wise 0 at
success case.
the PTR_RET does the same thing, and use PTR_RET instead of redoing the
code of PTR_RET

Based on finds for Stephen Rothwell, where current defconfig's
enable a ethernet driver and it is not compiled due to the newly
added NET_VENDOR_* component of Kconfig.
This patch enables all the "new" Kconfig options so that current
defconfig's will continue to compile the expected drivers. In
addition, by enabling all the new Kconfig options does not add
any un-expected options.
