bc8aacecf2 [media] av7110: fix confusing indenting
The else statement here is not aligned with the correct if statement.
I think the code works as intended and it's just the indenting which is
wrong. Also kernel style says we should use curly braces here so I have
added those.

f8817c9ea1 [media] av7110_hw: fix a sanity check in av7110_fw_cmd()
ARRAY_SIZE(buf) (8 elements) was intended instead of sizeof(buf) (16
bytes). But this is just a sanity check and the callers always pass
valid values so this doesn't cause a problem.

5bf30b3bc4 [media] av7110_hw: Don't use dynamic static allocation
Dynamic static allocation is evil, as Kernel stack is too low, and
compilation complains about it on some archs:
drivers/media/pci/ttpci/av7110_hw.c:510:1: warning: 'av7110_fw_cmd' uses dynamic stack allocation [enabled by default]
Instead, let's enforce a limit for the buffer.
In the specific case of this driver, the maximum fw command size
is 6 + 2, as checked using:
	$ git grep -A1 av7110_fw_cmd drivers/media/pci/ttpci/
So, use 8 for the buffer size.

fde04ab95d [media] demux.h: Remove duplicated enum
"enum dmx_ts_pes" and "typedef enum dmx_pes_type_t" are just the
same enum declared twice, since Kernel (2.6.12). There's no reason
to duplicate it there, and sparse complains about that:
drivers/media/dvb-core/dmxdev.c:600:55: warning: mixing different enum types
So, remove the internal define, keeping just the external one.
Internally, use only "enum dmx_ts_pes", as it is too late to drop
dmx_pes_type_t from the userspace API.

4c62e9764a Drivers: media: remove __dev* attributes.
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev*
markings need to be removed.

This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata,
__devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers.

Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me
in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand.

30ad64b8ac [media] dvb: push down ioctl lock in dvb_usercopy
Since most dvb ioctls wrap their real work with dvb_usercopy, the static mutex
used in dvb_usercopy effectively is a global lock for dvb ioctls.
Unfortunately, frontend ioctls can be blocked by the frontend thread for
several seconds; this leads to unacceptable lock contention. Mitigate that by
pushing the mutex from dvb_usercopy down to the individual, device specific
ioctls.
There are 10 such ioctl functions using dvb_usercopy, either calling it
directly, or via the trivial wrapper dvb_generic_ioctl. The following already
employ their own locking and look safe:
    • dvb_demux_ioctl (as per dvb_demux_do_ioctl)
    • dvb_dvr_ioctl (as per dvb_dvr_do_ioctl)
    • dvb_osd_ioctl (as per single non-trivial callee)
    • fdtv_ca_ioctl (as per callees)
    • dvb_frontend_ioctl
The following functions do not, and are thus changed to use a device specific
mutex:
    • dvb_net_ioctl (as per dvb_net_do_ioctl)
    • dvb_ca_en50221_io_ioctl (as per dvb_ca_en50221_io_do_ioctl)
    • dvb_video_ioctl
    • dvb_audio_ioctl
    • dvb_ca_ioctl

fccea74ff8 [media] Kconfig: merge all customise options into just one
Instead of having 3 options to allow customizing the media
sub-drivers (tuners, I2C drivers, frontends), merge all of
them into just one.

That simplifies the life for users, as they can just keep
this untouched.

Life for developers is also simpler, as there's now just
one Kconfig item to remember, for the ancillary sub-drivers
providing supports for chips that could change from one
board design to another.
