0a8c146f78 IGMP: Remove all remaining ND_TCHECK*() cases.
In print_mtrace() the check was just before a GET that fetches the last
field of the structure. The other three checks tested exactly the space
from that GET_IPADDR_STRING() would fetch anyway.

aa3f2087c8 IGMP: Deduplicate multicast trace printing code.
Instead of having two functions that differ only in the prefix they
print have one function that accepts the prefix as an additional
argument.

aad6ac30ce Remove some now redundant ND_TCHECK_4() calls
ND_TCHECK_4(e).

They are redundant because they are followed by a GET_IPADDR_STRING(e)
call, same e, which do the bounds check.

Remove unused 'trunc' labels and associated codes.

Update the output of a test accordingly.

abc8c2d61c Remove many (762) now redundant ND_TCHECK_n() calls
ND_TCHECK_n(e), n in { 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 }.

They are redundant because they are followed by a GET_.*_n(e) call,
same n, same e, which do the bounds check.

Remove unused 'trunc' labels and most associated codes.

Update the outputs of some tests accordingly.

306c2a0384 More bounds checking when fetching addresses and converting to strings.
Replace more calls to ipaddr_string()/ip6addr_string() with calls to
GET_IPADDR_STRING()/GET_IP6ADDR_STRING() macros performing bounds
checking.

Add similar bounds-checking inline functions and macros to wrap
linkaddr_string(), etheraddr_string(), and isonsap_string() and convert
calls to them to use the macros as well.

Shuffle the inline functions in addrtoname.h around a bit, so that the
inline functions, external declarations, and macros are all in the same
order.

Some EXTRACT_ in print-juniper.c, not used on packet buffer pointer.
An EXTRACT_BE_U_3 in addrtoname.c, not always used on packet buffer
pointer.

fb2479d733 Always include <config.h> rather than "config.h".
This can prevent bizarre failures if, for example, you've done a
configuration in the top-level source directory, leaving behind one
config.h file, and then do an out-of-tree build in another directory,
with different configuration options. This way, we always pick up the
same config.h, in the build directory.

3f3f2505f2 Make nd_uint8_t and nd_int8_t arrays, to catch direct references.
This catches direct references, so we can change them to use EXTRACT_U_1
or EXTRACT_S_1.

Also, change some structures to use the nd_ types that weren't already
using them.

Then make the appropriate EXTRACT_{U,S}_1() changes.

d07e352f5a CVE-2016-7993/Clean up relative time stamp printing.
Have separate routines for signed and unsigned relative time stamps.
Have the routine for signed time stamps handle the case of -2^31, where
you can't negate it and have the result fit in a 32-bit signed integer.

There are currently no users of the signed relative time stamp routine,
but it's there in case anybody needs it (and is passing 32-bit
quantitites, so that there's a risk that a packet might contain -2^31 as
the time stamp).

Fixes an array overflow found with American Fuzzy Lop by Hanno Böck.

by it. Update tcpdump.c not to require them any more and dismiss the
unused definitions.

ed85e20e4d u_intN_t is dead, long live uintN_t.
And, as we require at least autoconf 2.61, and as autoconf 2.61 and
later have AC_TYPE_UINTn_T and AC_TYPE_INTn_T macros, we use them to
define the uintN_t and intN_t macros if the system doesn't define them
for us.

This lets us get rid of bitypes.h as well.

d8acd8f5d0 make consistent use of the "tstr" idiom
For each decoder that has more than one instance of truncation signaling
and prints the same string in each instance make sure that the string is
declared as "static const char tstr[]" right after the initial includes
block. Where necessary, replace fputs(s, stdout) with equivalent
printf("%s", s).

94a4b46080 Go with Wireshark's Internet checksum routine.
The Wireshark routine is based on the BSD in-kernel portable checksum
routine (thus BSD-licensed); it takes a vector of pointers and lengths
and checksums the concatenation of the buffers in question (just as the
BSD in-kernel routine checksums a chain of mbufs).

This simplifies the "with a pseudo-header" checksums; hopefully it'll
fix up the problems being seen on some big-endian platforms, which might
be due to hand-calculating some or all of the checksum and doing so
incorrectly. It also gets rid of some code that might be dereferencing
unaligned pointers.

bbc1cfa669 Have the configure script arrange that the Makefile define _U_
appropriately, and that GNUmakefile and the MSVC++ project file define
it apppriately, as we do with libpcap, rather than defining it in
"interface.h".

Undo the rcsid-shuffling and addition of extra #includes, as we no
longer need to arrange that "interface.h" be included before using _U_
in an RCS ID or copyright.

3824a6c041 From Neil Spring:
use "_U_" in the definitions of "rcsid[]", to eliminate
	complaints about those variables being unused;

move the definitions after the include of "interface.h", or add
an include of "interface.h", so that "_U_" is defined.

Include "config.h" before including "tcpdump-stdinc.h" in
"missing/datalinks.c".

fcc82f451d The "__attribute__((packed))" tag on structures causes some files not to
compile with Sun C, as "interface.h" isn't being included before the
structures are being declared.

Furthermore, in the files that Sun C *can* compile, it doesn't cause Sun
C to generate code that's safe with unaligned accesses, as
"__attribute__" is defined as a do-nothing macro with compilers that
don't support it.

Therefore, we get rid of that tag on the structures to which it was
added, and instead use "EXTRACT_16BIT()" and "EXTRACT_32BIT()" to fetch
16-bit and 32-bit big-endian quantities from packets. We also fix some
other references to multi-byte quantities to get rid of code that tries
to do unaligned loads on platforms that don't support them.

We also throw in a hack that makes those macros use
"__attribute__((packed))" on structures containing only one 16-bit or
32-bit integer to get the compiler to generate unaligned-safe code
rather than doing it by hand. (GCC on SPARC produces the same code that
doing it by hand does; I don't know if GCC on any other big-endian
strict-alignment processor generates better code for that case. On
little-endian processors, as "ntohs()" and "ntohl()" might be functions,
that might actually produce worse code.)

Fix some places to use "%u" rather than "%d" to print unsigned
quantities.
