The PCA9552 and PCA9554 devices are both I2C GPIO controllers and the
PCA9552 also can drive LEDs. Do all the necessary adjustments to move
the models under hw/gpio.

This object is used to represent every multiplexer in the clock tree as
well as every clock output, every presecaler, frequency multiplier, etc.
This allows to use a generic approach for every component of the clock tree
(except the PLLs).

Add the necessary files to add a simple RCC implementation with just
reads from and writes to registers. Also instantiate the RCC in the
STM32L4x5_SoC. It is needed for accurate emulation of all the SoC
clocks and timers.

Although very similar to the STM32F4xx EXTI, STM32L4x5 EXTI generates
more than 32 event/interrupt requests and thus uses more registers
than STM32F4xx EXTI which generates 23 event/interrupt requests.

NetBSD assumes it can send its first ADB command after sending the ADB_BUSRESET
command in ADB_STATE_NEW without changing the state back to ADB_STATE_IDLE
first as detailed in the ADB protocol.
Add a workaround to detect this condition at the start of ADB enumeration
and send the next command written to SR after a ADB_BUSRESET onto the bus
regardless, even if we don't detect a state transition to ADB_STATE_NEW.

The MacOS toolbox ROM calculates the number of branches that can be executed
per millisecond as part of its timer calibration. Since modern hosts are
considerably quicker than original hardware, the negative counter reaches zero
before the calibration completes leading to division by zero later in
CALCULATESLOD.
Instead of trying to fudge the timing loop (which won't work for TimeDBRA/TimeSCCDB
anyhow), use the pattern of access to the VIA1 registers to detect when SETUPTIMEK
has finished executing and write some well-known good timer values to TimeDBRA
and TimeSCCDB taken from real hardware with a suitable scaling factor.

The SRC device is normally used to start the secondary CPU.
When running Linux directly, QEMU is emulating a PSCI interface that UBOOT
is installing at boot time and therefore the fact that the SRC device is
unimplemented is hidden as Qemu respond directly to PSCI requets without
using the SRC device.
But if you try to run a more bare metal application (maybe uboot itself),
then it is not possible to start the secondary CPU as the SRC is an
unimplemented device.
This patch adds the ability to start the secondary CPU through the SRC
device so that you can use this feature in bare metal applications.

Types of memory that the SDRAM controller supports are DDR2/DDR3
and capacities of up to 2GiB. This commit adds emulation support
of the Allwinner R40 SDRAM controller.
This driver only support 256M, 512M and 1024M memory now.

In real hardware, the APB and AHB PNP data tables can be accessed
with byte and halfword reads as well as word reads. Our
implementation currently only handles word reads. Add support for
the 8 and 16 bit accesses. Note that we only need to handle aligned
accesses -- unaligned accesses should continue to trap, as happens on
hardware.

This introduces a really basic PECI controller that responses to
commands by always setting the response code to success and then raising
an interrupt to indicate the command is done. This helps avoid getting
hit with constant errors if the driver continuously attempts to send a
command and keeps timing out.
The AST2400 and AST2500 only included registers up to 0x5C, not 0xFC.
They supported PECI 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0. The AST2600 and AST1030 support
PECI 4.0, which includes more read/write buffer registers from 0x80 to
0xFC to support 64-byte mode.
This patch doesn't attempt to handle that, or to create a different
version of the controller for the different generations, since it's only
implementing functionality that is common to all generations.
The basic sequence of events is that the firmware will read and write to
various registers and then trigger a command by setting the FIRE bit in
the command register (similar to the I2C controller).
Then the firmware waits for an interrupt from the PECI controller,
expecting the interrupt status register to be filled in with info on
what happened. If the command was transmitted and received successfully,
then response codes from the host CPU will be found in the data buffer
registers.

Aspeed 2600 SDK enables I3C support by default. The I3C driver will try
to reset the device controller and set it up through device address table
register. This dummy model responds to these registers with default values
as listed in the ast2600v10 datasheet chapter 54.2.
This avoids a guest machine kernel panic due to referencing an
invalid kernel address if the device address table register isn't
set correctly.

This patch implements Multi Function Timer (MFT) module for NPCM7XX.
This module is mainly used to configure PWM fans. It has just enough
functionality to make the PWM fan kernel module work.
The module takes two input, the max_rpm of a fan (modifiable via QMP)
and duty cycle (a GPIO from the PWM module.) The actual measured RPM
is equal to max_rpm * duty_cycle / NPCM7XX_PWM_MAX_DUTY. The RPM is
measured as a counter compared to a prescaled input clock. The kernel
driver reads this counter and report to user space.

The SSE-300 has a new register block CPU<N>_PWRCTRL. There is one
instance of this per CPU in the system (so just one for the SSE-300),
and as well as the usual CIDR/PIDR ID registers it has just one
register, CPUPWRCFG. This register allows the guest to configure
behaviour of the system in power-down and deep-sleep states. Since
QEMU does not model those, we make the register a dummy
reads-as-written implementation.

The PWM module is part of NPCM7XX module. Each NPCM7XX module has two
identical PWM modules. Each module contains 4 PWM entries. Each PWM has
two outputs: frequency and duty_cycle. Both are computed using inputs
from software side.
This module does not model detail pulse signals since it is expensive.
It also does not model interrupts and watchdogs that are dependant on
the detail models. The interfaces for these are left in the module so
that anyone in need for these functionalities can implement on their
own.
The user can read the duty cycle and frequency using qom-get command.

The BCM2835 CPRMAN is the clock manager of the SoC. It is composed of a
main oscillator, and several sub-components (PLLs, multiplexers, ...) to
generate the BCM2835 clock tree.
This commit adds a skeleton of the CPRMAN, with a dummy register
read/write implementation. It embeds the main oscillator (xosc) from
which all the clocks will be derived.

The RNG module returns a byte of randomness when the Data Valid bit is
set.
This implementation ignores the prescaler setting, and loads a new value
into RNGD every time RNGCS is read while the RNG is enabled and random
data is available.
A qtest featuring some simple randomness tests is included.

Add a LED device which can be connected to a GPIO output.
They can also be dimmed with PWM devices. For now we do
not implement the dimmed mode, but in preparation of a
future implementation, we start using the LED intensity.
LEDs are limited to a fixed set of colors.

Enough functionality to boot the Linux kernel has been implemented. This
includes:
- Correct power-on reset values so the various clock rates can be
accurately calculated.
- Clock enables stick around when written.
In addition, a best effort attempt to implement SECCNT and CNTR25M was
made even though I don't think the kernel needs them.

Implement a device model for the System Global Control Registers in the
NPCM730 and NPCM750 BMC SoCs.
This is primarily used to enable SMP boot (the boot ROM spins reading
the SCRPAD register) and DDR memory initialization; other registers are
best effort for now.
The reset values of the MDLR and PWRON registers are determined by the
SoC variant (730 vs 750) and board straps respectively.

when we neglect to update trace-events for code motion, or add events

Clean up with help of scripts/cleanup-trace-events.pl. Funnies
requiring manual post-processing:
* accel/tcg/cputlb.c trace points are in trace-events.
* block.c and blockdev.c trace points are in block/trace-events.
* hw/block/nvme.c uses the preprocessor to hide its trace point use
from cleanup-trace-events.pl.
* hw/tpm/tpm_spapr.c uses pseudo trace point tpm_spapr_show_buffer to
guard debug code.
* include/hw/xen/xen_common.h trace points are in hw/xen/trace-events.
* linux-user/trace-events abbreviates a tedious list of filenames to
*/signal.c.
* net/colo-compare and net/filter-rewriter.c use pseudo trace points
colo_compare_miscompare and colo_filter_rewriter_debug to guard
debug code.

This is a simple device of just one register, and whenever this
register is written to it calls qemu_set_irq function for each
of 8 bits/IRQs. It is used to implement AVR Power Reduction.
