15db4e7f4a treewide: remove unnecessary cache.h includes in source files
We had several C files include cache.h unnecessarily. Replace those
with an include of "git-compat-util.h" instead. Much like the previous
commit, these have all been verified via both ensuring that
    gcc -E $SOURCE_FILE | grep '"cache.h"'
found no hits and that
    make DEVELOPER=1 ${OBJECT_FILE_FOR_SOURCE_FILE}
successfully compiles without warnings.

b32fa95fd8 convert trivial cases to ALLOC_ARRAY
Each of these cases can be converted to use ALLOC_ARRAY or
REALLOC_ARRAY, which has two advantages:

  1. It automatically checks the array-size multiplication
     for overflow.

  2. It always uses sizeof(*array) for the element-size,
     so that it can never go out of sync with the declared
     type of the array.

13c6bcd49f Fix deletion of last character in levenshtein distance
Without this change, "git tags" will not suggest "git tag"
(it will only suggest "git status"), and "git statusx" will
not suggest anything.

8af84dadb1 git wrapper: DWIM mistyped commands
This patch introduces a modified Damerau-Levenshtein algorithm into
Git's code base, and uses it with the following penalties to show some
similar commands when an unknown command was encountered:

	swap = 0, insertion = 1, substitution = 2, deletion = 4

A typical output would now look like this:

	$ git sm
	git: 'sm' is not a git-command. See 'git --help'.

	Did you mean one of these?
		am
		rm

The cut-off is at similarity rating 6, which was empirically determined
to give sensible results.

As a convenience, if there is only one candidate, Git continues under
the assumption that the user mistyped it. Example:

	$ git reabse
	WARNING: You called a Git program named 'reabse', which does
	not exist.
	Continuing under the assumption that you meant 'rebase'
