Merge branch 'jc/receive-verify'

* jc/receive-verify:
  receive-pack: check connectivity before concluding "git push"
  check_everything_connected(): libify
  check_everything_connected(): refactor to use an iterator
  fetch: verify we have everything we need before updating our ref
