A Full-speed bulk USB audio device (DJ-Tech CTRL) with a invalid Maximum Packet Size of 4 causes a xHC "Parameter Error" at enumeration. This is because valid Maximum packet sizes for Full-speed bulk endpoints are 8, 16, 32 and 64 bytes. Hosts are not required to support other values than these. See usb 2 specs section 5.8.3 for details. The device starts working after forcing the maximum packet size to 8. This is most likely the case with other devices as well, so force the maximum packet size to a valid range. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
