The next set of patches will take advantage of stack_depth tracking, so make sure that the program that does bpf_tail_call() has stack depth large enough for the callee. We could have tracked the stack depth of the prog_array owner program and only allow insertion of the programs with stack depth less than the owner, but it will break existing applications. Some of them have trivial root bpf program that only does multiple bpf_tail_calls and at init time the prog array is empty. In the future we may add a flag to do such tracking optionally, but for now play simple and safe. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
