ath10k_pci_diag_write_mem may allocate big size of the dma memory based on the parameter nbytes. Take firmware diag download as example, the biggest size is about 500K. In some systems, the allocation is likely to fail because it can't acquire such a large contiguous dma memory. The fix is to allocate a small size dma memory. In the loop, driver copies the data to the allocated dma memory and writes to the destination until all the data is written. Tested with QCA6174 PCI with firmware-6.bin_WLAN.RM.4.4.1-00119-QCARMSWP-1, this also affects QCA9377 PCI. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
