bce3052f0c usb: roles: Provide the switch drivers handle to the switch in the API
The USB role callback functions had a parameter pointing to
the parent device (struct device) of the switch. The
assumption was that the switch parent is always the
controller. Firstly, that may not be true in every case, and
secondly, it prevents us from supporting devices that supply
multiple muxes.

Changing the first parameter of usb_role_switch_set_t and
usb_role_switch_get_t from struct device to struct
usb_role_switch.

b1a71c9047 usb: mtu3: fix race condition about delayed_status
usb_composite_setup_continue() may be called before composite_setup()
return USB_GADGET_DELAYED_STATUS, then the controller driver will
delay status stage after composite_setup() finish, but the class driver
don't ask the controller to continue delayed status anymore, this will
cause control transfer timeout.

happens when use mass storage (also enabled other class driver):

cpu1:                               cpu2
handle_setup(SET_CONFIG) //gadget driver
  unlock (g->lock)
  gadget_driver->setup()
    composite_setup()
      lock(cdev->lock)
        set_config()
          fsg_set_alt() // maybe some times due to many class are enabled
            raise FSG_STATE_CONFIG_CHANGE
            return USB_GADGET_DELAYED_STATUS
                                    handle_exception()
                                    usb_composite_setup_continue()
      unlock(cdev->lock)
                                      lock(cdev->lock)
                                        ep0_queue()
                                          lock (g->lock)
                                          //no delayed status, nothing todo
                                          unlock (g->lock)
                                      unlock(cdev->lock)
    return USB_GADGET_DELAYED_STATUS // composite_setup
  lock (g->lock)
get USB_GADGET_DELAYED_STATUS //handle_setup [1]

Try to fix the race condition as following:
After the driver gets USB_GADGET_DELAYED_STATUS at [1], if we find
there is a usb_request in ep0 request list, it means composite already
asked us to continue delayed status by usb_composite_setup_continue(),
so we skip request about delayed_status by composite_setup() and still
do status stage.

b33f37064b usb: Remove dev_err() usage after platform_get_irq()
We don't need dev_err() messages when platform_get_irq() fails now that

platform_get_irq_byname(E, ...)

-{ ...
-dev_err(...);

-dev_err(...);

1567d661b9 usb: mtu3: get optional clock by devm_clk_get_optional()
Use devm_clk_get_optional() to get optional clock instead of
optional_clk_get() which uses devm_clk_get() to get clock and

does, in fact, only ignoring -ENOENT will cover more errors, so

usb: changes for v4.18 merge window

A total of 98 non-merge commits, the biggest part being in dwc3 this
time around with a large refactoring of dwc3's transfer handling code.

We also have a new driver for Aspeed virtual hub controller.

Apart from that, just a list of miscellaneous fixes all over the place.

f39846824c usb: mtu3: make USB_MTU3_DUAL_ROLE depend on EXTCON but not USB_MTU3
In fact the driver depends on EXTCON only when it's configed as
USB_MTU3_DUAL_ROLE, so make USB_MTU3_DUAL_ROLE depend on EXTCON but
not USB_MTU3.

f3b28e5e07 usb: mtu3: fix operation failure when test TEST_J/K
There is an error dialog popped up in PC when test TEST_J/K
by EHSETT tool, due to not waiting for the completion of
control transfer. Here fix it by entering test mode after
Status Stage finish.

11254eb2de usb: mtu3: fix an unrecognized issue when connected with PC
When boot on the platform with the USB cable connected to Win7,
the Win7 will pop up an error dialog: "USB Device not recognized",
but finally the Win7 can enumerate it successfully.
The root cause is as the following:
When the xHCI driver set PORT_POWER of the OTG port, and if both
IDPIN and VBUS_VALID are high at the same time, the MTU3 controller
will set SESSION and pull up DP, so the Win7 can detect existence
of USB device, but if the mtu3 driver can't switch to device mode
during the debounce time, the Win7 can not enumerate it.
Here to fix it by removing the 1s delayed EXTCON register to speed up
mode switch.

The usb_add_gadget_udc() will set the gadget state as
USB_STATE_NOTATTACHED, so we needn't set it again.

288ee3c362 usb: mtu3: avoid TX data length truncated in SS/SSP mode
The variable of 'count' is declared as u8, this will cause an issue
due to value truncated when works in SS or SSP mode and data length
is greater than 255, so change it as u32.

cd91a0e9d3 usb: Remove depends on HAS_DMA in case of platform dependency
Remove dependencies on HAS_DMA where a Kconfig symbol depends on another
symbol that implies HAS_DMA, and, optionally, on "|| COMPILE_TEST".
In most cases this other symbol is an architecture or platform specific
symbol, or PCI.

Generic symbols and drivers without platform dependencies keep their
dependencies on HAS_DMA, to prevent compiling subsystems or drivers that
cannot work anyway.

This simplifies the dependencies, and allows to improve compile-testing.
