010cf12f59 mfd: altera-sysmgr: Call of_node_put() only when of_parse_phandle() takes a ref
[ Upstream commit e28c28a34e ]

of_parse_phandle() returns a device_node with refcount incremented, which
the callee needs to call of_node_put() on when done. We should only call
of_node_put() when the property argument is provided though as otherwise
nothing has taken a reference on the node.

c9a4f13c58 mfd: arizona-spi: Set pdata.hpdet_channel for ACPI enumerated devs
[ Upstream commit 831d1af851 ]

Commit 9e86b2ad4c changed the channel used for HPDET detection
(headphones vs lineout detection) from being hardcoded to
ARIZONA_ACCDET_MODE_HPL (HP left channel) to it being configurable
through arizona_pdata.hpdet_channel the DT/OF parsing added for
filling arizona_pdata on devicetree platforms ensures that
arizona_pdata.hpdet_channel gets set to ARIZONA_ACCDET_MODE_HPL
when not specified in the devicetree-node.

But on ACPI platforms where arizona_pdata is filled by
arizona_spi_acpi_probe() arizona_pdata.hpdet_channel was not
getting set, causing it to default to 0 aka ARIZONA_ACCDET_MODE_MIC.

This causes headphones to get misdetected as line-out on some models.
Fix this by setting hpdet_channel = ARIZONA_ACCDET_MODE_HPL.

a23b3b2be0 mfd: tqmx86: Do not access I2C_DETECT register through io_base
[ Upstream commit 1be1b23696 ]

The I2C_DETECT register is at IO port 0x1a7, which is outside the range
passed to devm_ioport_map() for io_base, and was only working because
there aren't actually any bounds checks for IO port accesses.

Extending the range does not seem like a good solution here, as it would
then conflict with the IO resource assigned to the I2C controller. As
this is just a one-off access during probe, use a simple inb() instead.

While we're at it, drop the unused define TQMX86_REG_I2C_INT_EN.

ec10848e26 mfd: pm8008: Remove driver data structure pm8008_data
[ Upstream commit 915696927c ]

Maintaining a local driver data structure that is never shared
outside of the core device is an unnecessary complexity. Half of the
attributes were not used outside of a single function, one of which
was not used at all. The remaining 2 are generic and can be passed
around as required.

mode (usart, i2c, spi) via mode register (FLEX_MR). On i2c bus there might
be connected critical devices (like PMIC) which on suspend/resume should
be suspended/resumed at the end/beginning. i2c uses
.suspend_noirq/.resume_noirq for this kind of purposes. Align flexcom
