ARM: 9169/1: entry: fix Thumb2 bug in iWMMXt exception handling
The Thumb2 version of the FP exception handling entry code treats the
register holding the CP number (R8) differently, resulting in the iWMMXT
CP number check to be incorrect.
Fix this by unifying the ARM and Thumb2 code paths, and switch the
order of the additions of the TI_USED_CP offset and the shifted CP
index.

- A series from Vladimir Oltean to update SJA1105 switch RGMII delay for a few boards, so that kernel doesn't warn on the legacy bindings. - Remove redundant interrupt declaration for gpio-keys on board ls1088a-ten64, as this causes an IRQ reclaiming error on kernel v5.15 and later. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQFIBAABCgAyFiEEFmJXigPl4LoGSz08UFdYWoewfM4FAmGgsRAUHHNoYXduZ3Vv QGtlcm5lbC5vcmcACgkQUFdYWoewfM7cvAgAqnWK9OcpXErsi/ACWOqJ64F4yT8k ePzcGPvzFeNbuk2bm8l/zz7WueoKzM5tvk9bocwyUveXDwIIBIC6CoDU0yiHHh9P x9hhoU9VaY0GhFKzBfCuMXb7i0r5QIMOH++TJ1muFP+wRgBkGdPhyL+ijvd1EhQK K0QB+izgdcI1TvCypC2eZMY5vsyOCmnqE3EpQVzJSDfzJeFa48jFZ2eybGd6l9AQ /3W4nWQwS/930TbMSM1hh24v8gGxwei+GWbwPREKT2Fu/Rj9jctX2s01/nsMu73Q 0bpf7nXx+uxS3CaN8vWIKEDRHsOeHPIIJ7wwBShIwh3XQtLb6lmS546rXA== =8XSh -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- gpgsig -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCgAdFiEEo6/YBQwIrVS28WGKmmx57+YAGNkFAmG3T/wACgkQmmx57+YA GNkIGRAAm0DCZO+PQoErzjvon+Wb5E5XcrkRe/X0Y+X6NTbgPHm5NbOQDyDeduOH H6+89jYytzD4j8SogbwlZCyt14dZ5X83v1kpjpgl7ibBiR+/7aLJKfXkqb9yMBWd ndViTflQSexJzJSPLA47XLg/BCc7rZzz3HB20cdBfASqKN+nvz8012LebLWmO+6U Jbz+x3T2bXqmnCy52Na48OelwxNxy0hUMOdHUEB5GG4rLbgDaf9JFXzQGggzVRsA QROP7MqrGMrLxcwqvzEDPccZv387VJc33YCPDy4kfSeHb/KkrrLTccLeXRmKAx0p tXYxa5vU4PIMNb86AoNZ9H+jWYF7xMmMmz4zvtjSKyNydT7ZMY3XgKgWztSwy37a cKguckLQnz1jmxpxZOxu+N+fwkR/0ZE7sL10ia5t02vjGZfeJSY1V/8v/7K6UnQo 0nVAQzcBBGqaw64Z/QMxYCepRY0Eb4/6ZX2FaqdZeEhgKu0LiADXMr3QaizeL0q6 Qscg031L9eQ1uSnp6YCP1lYiafH2n84d7XrjB2jL2TZ186WKy+OqgeG9ZJKDebuK 9OveVjbUUNZ1RlHHWnBBbbz3C0dgGuDZ4IDmso2IET9i0LtL57MVKefYRdHoE9ZH livdCYlfujRPkWIM7PS/D07feMoFsW5VW/nSxCp7szvZCMlmDrI= =3mvY -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'imx-fixes-5.16' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/shawnguo/linux into arm/fixes i.MX fixes for 5.16: - A series from Vladimir Oltean to update SJA1105 switch RGMII delay for a few boards, so that kernel doesn't warn on the legacy bindings. - Remove redundant interrupt declaration for gpio-keys on board ls1088a-ten64, as this causes an IRQ reclaiming error on kernel v5.15 and later. * tag 'imx-fixes-5.16' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/shawnguo/linux: arm64: dts: ten64: remove redundant interrupt declaration for gpio-keys arm64: dts: lx2160abluebox3: update RGMII delays for sja1105 switch ARM: dts: ls1021a-tsn: update RGMII delays for sja1105 switch ARM: dts: imx6qp-prtwd3: update RGMII delays for sja1105 switch Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20211126100716.GF4216@dragon Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> |

ARM: dts: imx6ull-pinfunc: Fix CSI_DATA07__ESAI_TX0 pad name
According to the i.MX6ULL Reference Manual, pad CSI_DATA07 may
have the ESAI_TX0 functionality, not ESAI_T0.
Also, NXP's i.MX Config Tools 10.0 generates dtsi with the
MX6ULL_PAD_CSI_DATA07__ESAI_TX0 naming, so fix it accordingly.
There are no devicetree users in mainline that use the old name,
so just remove the old entry.

ARM: SoC fixes for v5.16, part 2
There are only a few devicetree fixes this time: - one outdated devicetree property that slipped into the newly added ExynosAutov9 support - three changes to Broadcom SoCs that had incorrect number values for interrupts or irqchips. All other changes are for SoC specific drivers, fixing: - A missing NULL pointer check in the mediatek memory driver - An integer overflow issue in the Arm smccc firwmare interface - A false-positive fortify-source check - Error handling fixes for optee and smci - Incorrect message format in one SCMI call -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCgAdFiEEo6/YBQwIrVS28WGKmmx57+YAGNkFAmGfraEACgkQmmx57+YA GNkj/g//QjXBksfNpCxGlghRga3pUPEVowij08spYeEIKYpkCnzyns4pLJUYFafX PlMB32NnObhJ7QO8/V1sUgdlm/1rhDw99AEcdj4l4o3OCcczc8Mnf3mVIJmPhJUX Rdu/Rwk8ajTt3msHud2PPZtHVYGQTCDQQOgAWjA3ZjlKad69H0s6jYeBdTvcBcge GmdUIxsHcw/aCcNQZ5LB4RdcGrh+9IwhqXVaDQvMUNC+BVeSKz49/EUPfOTsNH4b zVDiGo8DmG0Y4eZww/KB2g4qxc3fewF+IacnrPFyjb0ft9Szk8r/0HSFVpz2N8TM tWpo5hEKh/V9cgQn+vxDjujEbghyRm06mAPgxiiKtSLBp2ASG2io0o6LcQnToK7Q t27nGembpSRKi/I743Xpt3AjM47LBB45j0Dmdp5oWy3FJAuWa7mlCIvMcfVWDgpf aDzmjiMn7bzyHHXMDlDo3AdHOJrnKBaPylMjWXUkiiNiFhmGZ6787o3hN0yIc+Ck jwyIm+5Tp8agpgMIqI0cpn7e9QeNc2F8jJPmKdDmEN5Ny9xQKCpxzc2CbBWLNZnu bOLhpbKxRDVgXm46eLhTwJypgZWli/2GCFpfjXdDI8lOB5Sq6uf6P0eJfDkJBv7k upj309dHgl60KP6jJI7foIoY6WVxjWOAZXgslco//leH8fdj5M4= =veH6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'arm-fixes-5.16-2' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/soc/soc Pull ARM SoC fixes from Arnd Bergmann: "There are only a few devicetree fixes this time: - one outdated devicetree property that slipped into the newly added ExynosAutov9 support - three changes to Broadcom SoCs that had incorrect number values for interrupts or irqchips. ARM: dts: ls1021a-tsn: update RGMII delays for sja1105 switch
In the new behavior, the sja1105 driver expects there to be explicit RGMII delays present on the fixed-link ports, otherwise it will complain that it falls back to legacy behavior, which is to apply RGMII delays incorrectly derived from the phy-mode string. In this case, the legacy behavior of the driver is to not apply delays in any direction (mostly because the SJA1105T can't do that, so this board uses PCB traces). To preserve that but also silence the driver, use explicit delays of 0 ns. The delay information from the phy-mode is ignored by new kernels (it's still RGMII as long as it's "rgmii*" something), and the explicit {rx,tx}-internal-delay-ps properties are ignored by old kernels, so the change works both ways. kmap_local: don't assume kmap PTEs are linear arrays in memory
The kmap_local conversion broke the ARM architecture, because the new
code assumes that all PTEs used for creating kmaps form a linear array
in memory, and uses array indexing to look up the kmap PTE belonging to
a certain kmap index.
On ARM, this cannot work, not only because the PTE pages may be
non-adjacent in memory, but also because ARM/!LPAE interleaves hardware
entries and extended entries (carrying software-only bits) in a way that
is not compatible with array indexing.
Fortunately, this only seems to affect configurations with more than 8
CPUs, due to the way the per-CPU kmap slots are organized in memory.
Work around this by permitting an architecture to set a Kconfig symbol
that signifies that the kmap PTEs do not form a lineary array in memory,
and so the only way to locate the appropriate one is to walk the page
tables.

ARM: socfpga: Fix crash with CONFIG_FORTIRY_SOURCE
When CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE is set, memcpy() checks the potential
buffer overflow and panics. The code in sofcpga bootstrapping
contains the memcpy() calls are mistakenly translated as the shorter
size, hence it triggers a panic as if it were overflowing.
This patch changes the secondary_trampoline and *_end definitions
to arrays for avoiding the false-positive crash above.

Add linux/cacheflush.h
Many architectures do not include asm-generic/cacheflush.h, so turn
the includes on their head and add linux/cacheflush.h which includes
asm/cacheflush.h.
Move the flush_dcache_folio() declaration from asm-generic/cacheflush.h
to linux/cacheflush.h and change linux/highmem.h to include
linux/cacheflush.h instead of asm/cacheflush.h so that all necessary
places will see flush_dcache_folio().
More functions should have their default implementations moved in the
future, but those are for follow-on patches. This fixes csky, sparc and
sparc64 which were missed in the commit which added flush_dcache_folio().

ARM: 9156/1: drop cc-option fallbacks for architecture selection
Naresh and Antonio ran into a build failure with latest Debian armhf compilers, with lots of output like tmp/ccY3nOAs.s:2215: Error: selected processor does not support `cpsid i' in ARM mode As it turns out, $(cc-option) fails early here when the FPU is not selected before CPU architecture is selected, as the compiler option check runs before enabling -msoft-float, which causes a problem when testing a target architecture level without an FPU: cc1: error: '-mfloat-abi=hard': selected architecture lacks an FPU Passing e.g. -march=armv6k+fp in place of -march=armv6k would avoid this issue, but the fallback logic is already broken because all supported compilers (gcc-5 and higher) are much more recent than these options, and building with -march=armv5t as a fallback no longer works. The best way forward that I see is to just remove all the checks, which also has the nice side-effect of slightly improving the startup time for 'make'. The -mtune=marvell-f option was apparently never supported by any mainline compiler, and the custom Codesourcery gcc build that did support is now too old to build kernels, so just use -mtune=xscale unconditionally for those. This should be safe to apply on all stable kernels, and will be required in order to keep building them with gcc-11 and higher. arm64: Track no early_pgtable_alloc() for kmemleak
After switched page size from 64KB to 4KB on several arm64 servers here,
kmemleak starts to run out of early memory pool due to a huge number of
those early_pgtable_alloc() calls:
kmemleak_alloc_phys()
memblock_alloc_range_nid()
memblock_phys_alloc_range()
early_pgtable_alloc()
init_pmd()
alloc_init_pud()
__create_pgd_mapping()
__map_memblock()
paging_init()
setup_arch()
start_kernel()
Increased the default value of DEBUG_KMEMLEAK_MEM_POOL_SIZE by 4 times
won't be enough for a server with 200GB+ memory. There isn't much
interesting to check memory leaks for those early page tables and those
early memory mappings should not reference to other memory. Hence, no
kmemleak false positives, and we can safely skip tracking those early
allocations from kmemleak like we did in the commit

ARM: SoC drivers for 5.16
These are all the driver updates for SoC specific drivers. There are a couple of subsystems with individual maintainers picking up their patches here: - The reset controller subsystem add support for a few new SoC variants to existing drivers, along with other minor improvements - The OP-TEE subsystem gets a driver for the ARM FF-A transport - The memory controller subsystem has improvements for Tegra, Mediatek, Renesas, Freescale and Broadcom specific drivers. - The tegra cpuidle driver changes get merged through this tree this time. There are only minor changes, but they depend on other tegra driver updates here. - The ep93xx platform finally moves to using the drivers/clk/ subsystem, moving the code out of arch/arm in the process. This depends on a small sound driver change that is included here as well. - There are some minor updates for Qualcomm and Tegra specific firmware drivers. The other driver updates are mainly for drivers/soc, which contains a mixture of vendor specific drivers that don't really fit elsewhere: - Mediatek drivers gain more support for MT8192, with new support for hw-mutex and mmsys routing, plus support for reset lines in the mmsys driver. - Qualcomm gains a new "sleep stats" driver, and support for the "Generic Packet Router" in the APR driver. - There is a new user interface for routing the UARTS on ASpeed BMCs, something that apparently nobody else has needed so far. - More drivers can now be built as loadable modules, in particular for Broadcom and Samsung platforms. - Lots of improvements to the TI sysc driver for better suspend/resume support Finally, there are lots of minor cleanups and new device IDs for amlogic, renesas, tegra, qualcomm, mediateka, samsung, imx, layerscape, allwinner, broadcom, and omap. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCgAdFiEEo6/YBQwIrVS28WGKmmx57+YAGNkFAmGCvKgACgkQmmx57+YA GNnNfw/8DDTfMUycVvtaNslYlWri0/2O0nSqhNIIbTAcVuD/x5qo/McDhKuv+ldM BoTDMjRYZfQkrNXSEj3MaxB9E0o6Srva5SM8y4+Koe0VVtvEVovjYkXOhXqSEWWl aqVIe0S6Y1rF/KxJlvAfGxYHb5d+6aYqzdmhjURpXNGxqpSHb9/hqisY97Q9TpnD 6lQZOz9d1JNDq0eOh1qjcfuMjg1EHZHDZJyioCvyX38KIl2q7p3ll2z/eqrrDhQZ TrvL/YVosTXqBcAfi47Oz+n/CX2i0MrjVO8nfPSGOq5UL4Al3SZD4XYY96IOIQrH +XGFigGGAkV2LfKSEPNJWaq7g+SiQUr2jc3p8b4Zxde8/+5M127/gotiPddyG2LX 1OnFRnPskgRApGqHjGEcEzzJUTag7Hc+YVH82TMEHZhSDMq6i30k9UnyfXsziZDV 8CrkOpjuSg+YxFv/83bfa1pIoYtFfjGr16mq4muajodnX7+b7My9iv+2Oo2iQM9y DwRUKj7+eap23SEUpi4et6HlNpoF6yJMbt5Ae1k+gTK2DvQ4Cx6n4QJz/I7WC1Wp BdVhvSH8XVppVLtQqODud+VWvLgLerRxUpGRdbS8r5VsnNUJTvaS4YGMpm9616G7 TrgUSSvsyu1lLqbWMh+pOCk4l3r64vSUn581hrIw6jtioNGvMdE= =tUuj -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'drivers-5.16' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/soc/soc Pull ARM SoC driver updates from Arnd Bergmann: "These are all the driver updates for SoC specific drivers. ARM: SoC updates for v5.16
The SoC updates this time are mainly removing obsolete code from the OMAP2 platform, another step in the eternal cleanup of that platform. There are two new SoCs getting added: STMicroelectronics stm32mp13 and Microchip lan966. Both fit into existing platforms and require minimal changes here. A couple of MAINTAINER file updates relate to those changes, and update some file paths. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCgAdFiEEo6/YBQwIrVS28WGKmmx57+YAGNkFAmGCvhoACgkQmmx57+YA GNkpag//cmlW4dFbkk5rlUipg9N0AJBIHiFWNyXgXL8ZpGvs2k5YAtj7KI2pfEgr 6kyiEnOOoTFkcAHaMk7n/3PdwNV8d+hpDj4nkxGBtjBlgKy1A3Dmj/qTEE49CYUv mhfjxVbCid5H2BY7EageuIdV3l36WGj5Kq2/GhwHLLap7MKHRMMQ2WyzooBvaDai n0Eg3odEIx5Q02EtuYdbDHBei3aIOtXq9XAZOS5ytXSh3/q5ueCf/NCuyaFbUfgz OabXGxuwADzlm39QCn3zbqs42IgQbArpqa7Y3GmImSgXygrS3AaKoxp+OQBU1UB4 lFIyRX3DNhuo+R4dktflBKxYITvJYCnH0dNhG7L5fwbJG5UCm6ZPMx8PLEcmozXE NNqbqWQegTbmmuYIQoZz0G98K/nnRx2A1HhfprQcMM/Zk0Au5fUL9teGRZ+Ap0H/ 7yR7TfbX+UNaiR9ZfZedEMZEnMwcwcbXrNeX57ZdMFsDJjcpkG85ENroiAPlKo1k 5OlJNFtnStqp6+vXnK22rKl15QjV5BNBdjMHRudG6B53habd9JXYWpjslIJEFsxS 6DYs6MgCW3ZR9nHZuPHgop6Hr2UkS0yCu8G/YiIpSR+O9KiD6gEIYRxCdqWxHtOU MbryMRp9ZRL05XsRs9/2WRuNkEZQydK6EQLspkIiuLqMPQPR8Ac= =Vkfc -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'soc-5.16' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/soc/soc Pull ARM SoC updates from Arnd Bergmann: "The SoC updates this time are mainly removing obsolete code from the OMAP2 platform, another step in the eternal cleanup of that platform. xen: allow pv-only hypercalls only with CONFIG_XEN_PV
Put the definitions of the hypercalls usable only by pv guests inside CONFIG_XEN_PV sections. On Arm two dummy functions related to pv hypercalls can be removed. While at it remove the no longer supported tmem hypercall definition.
