The main usage of the struct thunderbolt_ip_frame_header is to handle
the packets on the media layer. The header is bound to the protocol
in which the byte ordering is crucial. However the data type definition
doesn't use that and sparse is unhappy, for example (17 altogether):
.../thunderbolt.c:718:23: warning: cast to restricted __le32
.../thunderbolt.c:966:42: warning: incorrect type in assignment (different base types)
.../thunderbolt.c:966:42: expected unsigned int [usertype] frame_count
.../thunderbolt.c:966:42: got restricted __le32 [usertype]
Switch to the bitwise types in the struct thunderbolt_ip_frame_header to
reduce this, but not completely solving (9 left), because the same data
type is used for Rx header handled locally (in CPU byte order).

kmap_atomic() is being deprecated in favor of kmap_local_page(). Replace
kmap_atomic() and kunmap_atomic() with kmap_local_page() and kunmap_local()
respectively.
Note that kmap_atomic() disables preemption and page-fault processing, but
kmap_local_page() doesn't. When converting uses of kmap_atomic(), one has
to check if the code being executed between the map/unmap implicitly
depends on page-faults and/or preemption being disabled. If yes, then code
to disable page-faults and/or preemption should also be added for
functional correctness. That however doesn't appear to be the case here,
so just kmap_local_page() is used.
Also note that the page being mapped is not allocated by the driver, and so
the driver doesn't know if the page is in normal memory. This is the reason
kmap_local_page() is used as opposed to page_address().
I don't have hardware, so this change has only been compile tested.

If the other host starts sending packets early on it is possible that we
are still in the middle of populating the initial Rx ring packets to the
ring. This causes the tbnet_poll() to mess over the queue and causes
list corruption. This happens specifically when connected with macOS as
it seems start sending various IP discovery packets as soon as its side
of the paths are configured.
To prevent this we move the DMA path enabling to happen after we have
primed the Rx ring. This makes sure no incoming packets can arrive
before we are ready to handle them.

Currently we have had an artificial limitation of a single DMA tunnel
per XDomain connection. However, hardware wise there is no such limit
and software based connection manager can take advantage of all the DMA
rings available on the host to establish tunnels.
For this reason make the tb_xdomain_[enable|disable]_paths() to take the
DMA ring and HopID as parameter instead of storing them in the struct
tb_xdomain. We also add API functions to allocate input and output
HopIDs of the XDomain connection that the service drivers can use
instead of hard-coding.
Also convert the two existing service drivers over to this API.

USB4 spec defines end-to-end (E2E) flow control that can be used between
hosts to prevent overflow of a RX ring. We previously had this partially
implemented but that code was removed with commit 53f13319d1
("thunderbolt: Get rid of E2E workaround") with the idea that we add it
back properly if there ever is need. Now that we are going to add DMA
traffic test driver (in subsequent patches) this can be useful.
For this reason we modify tb_ring_alloc_rx/tx() so that they accept
RING_FLAG_E2E and configure the hardware ring accordingly. The RX side
also requires passing TX HopID (e2e_tx_hop) used in the credit grant
packets.

The end-to-end (E2E) workaround is needed for Falcon Ridge (TBT 2)
controller when E2E is enabled for both ends of the host-to-host
connection. However, we never supported full E2E in the first place so
this code is not necessary at the moment. Further this allows us to use
all available rings for data except ring 0 which is reserved for the
control path.
The complete E2E flow control is explained in the USB4 spec so we may
add it back later if needed but at least the networking driver seems to
work fine without, and the higher level stack, like TCP will retransmit
lost packets anyway.

The control channel calls registered callbacks when control messages
such as XDomain protocol messages are received. The control channel
handling is done in a worker running on system workqueue which means the
networking driver can't run tear down flow which includes sending
disconnect request and waiting for a reply in the same worker. Otherwise
reply is never received (as the work is already running) and the
operation times out.
To fix this run disconnect ThunderboltIP flow asynchronously once
ThunderboltIP logout message is received.

Commit 86dabda426 ("net: thunderbolt: Clear finished Tx frame bus
address in tbnet_tx_callback()") fixed a DMA-API violation where the
driver called dma_unmap_page() in tbnet_free_buffers() for a bus address
that might already be unmapped. The fix was to zero out the bus address
of a frame in tbnet_tx_callback().
However, as pointed out by David Miller, zero might well be valid
mapping (at least in theory) so it is not good idea to use it here.
It turns out that we don't need the whole map/unmap dance for Tx buffers
at all. Instead we can map the buffers when they are initially allocated
and unmap them when the interface is brought down. In between we just
DMA sync the buffers for the CPU or device as needed.

When Thunderbolt network interface is disabled or when the cable is
unplugged the driver releases all allocated buffers by calling
tbnet_free_buffers() for each ring. This function then calls
dma_unmap_page() for each buffer it finds where bus address is non-zero.
Now, we only clear this bus address when the Tx buffer is sent to the
hardware so it is possible that the function finds an entry that has
already been unmapped.
Enabling DMA-API debugging catches this as well:
thunderbolt 0000:06:00.0: DMA-API: device driver tries to free DMA
memory it has not allocated [device address=0x0000000068321000] [size=4096 bytes]
Fix this by clearing the bus address of a Tx frame right after we have
unmapped the buffer.

ThunderboltIP is a protocol created by Apple to tunnel IP/ethernet
traffic over a Thunderbolt cable. The protocol consists of configuration
phase where each side sends ThunderboltIP login packets (the protocol is
determined by UUID in the XDomain packet header) over the configuration
channel. Once both sides get positive acknowledgment to their login
packet, they configure high-speed DMA path accordingly. This DMA path is
then used to transmit and receive networking traffic.
This patch creates a virtual ethernet interface the host software can
use in the same way as any other networking interface. Once the
interface is brought up successfully network packets get tunneled over
the Thunderbolt cable to the remote host and back.
The connection is terminated by sending a ThunderboltIP logout packet
over the configuration channel. We do this when the network interface is
brought down by user or the driver is unloaded.
