Removes some functions that are not used anywhere:

The snd_ac97_resume() function tests whether its argument is NULL and then
returns immediately. Thus the test around the call is not needed.

earlier we were ignoring the return value of snd_ak4114_create and
always returning 0.
now we are returning the actual status. revo_init is calling this
function, and revo_init is checking the return value.

the functions:

snd_ice1712_build_pro_mixer
snd_ctl_add
snd_ak4114_build

snd_ak4113_build

so we can easily remove the check for a negative value and return
the value instead.

We should prefer `struct pci_device_id` over `DEFINE_PCI_DEVICE_TABLE` to
meet kernel coding style guidelines. This issue was reported by checkpatch.
A simplified version of the semantic patch that makes this change is as
follows (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/):
// <smpl>
@@
identifier i;
declarer name DEFINE_PCI_DEVICE_TABLE;
initializer z;
@@
- DEFINE_PCI_DEVICE_TABLE(i)
+ const struct pci_device_id i[]
= z;

PCM pointer callbacks in ice1712 driver check the buffer size boundary
wrongly between bytes and frames. This leads to PCM core warnings
like:
snd_pcm_update_hw_ptr0: 105 callbacks suppressed
ALSA pcm_lib.c:352 BUG: pcmC3D0c:0, pos = 5461, buffer size = 5461, period size = 2730
This patch fixes these checks to be placed after the proper unit
conversions.

As drvdata is cleared to NULL at probe failure or at removal by the
driver core, we don't have to call pci_set_drvdata(pci, NULL) any
longer in each driver.
The only remaining pci_set_drvdata(NULL) is in azx_firmware_cb() in
hda_intel.c. Since this function itself releases the card instance,
we need to clear drvdata here as well, so that it won't be released
doubly in the remove callback.

- Lots of cleanups and API refreshes for CODEC drivers and DaVinci.
- Conversion of OMAP to dmaengine.

The driver already defines control "Multi Track Rate Locking" which
locks the card at current rate if switched to internal clock. This patch

of the card capabilities, and e.g. automatic rate conversion by the plug
plugin to the currently locked rate.
