Some Android x86 tablets with a Bay Trail (BYT) SoC and a Crystal Cove
PMIC, which does not support charger-detection, rely on the TUSB1211 phy
for charger-detection.
Windows tablets with the same SoC + PMIC often use an extra chip for
charger-detection like the FSA831A. But since on Android tablets
the designers already need to add a TUSB1211 phy to support device/gadget
mode the phy is used to do charger-detection instead.
These Android x86 tablets can be identified by the unique combination of
a Bay Trail SoC (already checked for by PCI-ids) + a Crystal Cove PMIC +
not using the standard ACPI battery and ac drivers. Where as on Windows
tablets the standard ACPI battery and ac drivers will be used on BYT
boards with a Crystal Cove PMIC.
Set a special kernel-internal (so not part of the dt-bindings)
"linux,phy_charger_detect" property on these boards, which tells the
tusb1210 driver to enable charger-detection.

Commit e0082698b6 ("usb: dwc3: ulpi: conditionally resume ULPI PHY")
fixed an issue where ULPI transfers would timeout if any requests where
send to the phy sometime after init, giving it enough time to auto-suspend.
Commit e5f4ca3fce ("usb: dwc3: ulpi: Fix USB2.0 HS/FS/LS PHY suspend
regression") changed the behavior to instead of clearing the
DWC3_GUSB2PHYCFG_SUSPHY bit, add an extra sleep when it is set.
But on Bay Trail devices, when phy_set_mode() gets called during init,
this leads to errors like these:
[ 28.451522] tusb1210 dwc3.ulpi: error -110 writing val 0x01 to reg 0x0a
[ 28.464089] tusb1210 dwc3.ulpi: error -110 writing val 0x01 to reg 0x0a
Add "snps,dis_u2_susphy_quirk" to the settings for Bay Trail devices to
fix this. This restores the old behavior for Bay Trail devices, since
previously the DWC3_GUSB2PHYCFG_SUSPHY bit would get cleared on the first
ulpi_read/_write() and then was never set again.

The opening comment mark '/**' is used for highlighting the beginning of
kernel-doc comments.
There are certain files in drivers/usb/dwc3, which follow this syntax,
but the content inside does not comply with kernel-doc.
Such lines were probably not meant for kernel-doc parsing, but are parsed
due to the presence of kernel-doc like comment syntax(i.e, '/**'), which
causes unexpected warnings from kernel-doc.
E.g., presence of kernel-doc like comment in drivers/usb/dwc3/io.h at
header causes this warnings by kernel-doc:
"warning: expecting prototype for h(). Prototype was for __DRIVERS_USB_DWC3_IO_H() instead"
Similarly for other files too.
Provide a simple fix by replacing such occurrences with general comment
format, i.e. '/*', to prevent kernel-doc from parsing it.

Tiger Lake SOC (the versions of it that have integrated USB4
controller) may have two DWC3 controllers. One is part of
the PCH (Platform Controller Hub, i.e. the chipset) as
usual, and the other is inside the actual CPU block.
On all Intel platforms that have the two separate DWC3
controllers, the one inside the CPU handles USB3 and only
USB3 traffic, while the PCH version handles USB2 and USB2
alone. The reason for splitting the two busses like this is
to allow easy USB3 tunneling over USB4 connections. As USB2
is not tunneled over USB4, it has dedicated USB controllers
(both xHCI and DWC3).

Commit 211f658b7b ("usb: dwc3: pci: Use devm functions to get
the phy GPIOs") changed the code to claim the PHY GPIOs permanently
for Intel Baytrail devices.
This causes issues when the actual PHY driver attempts to claim the
same GPIO descriptors. For example, tusb1210 now fails to probe with:
tusb1210: probe of dwc3.0.auto.ulpi failed with error -16 (EBUSY)
dwc3-pci needs to turn on the PHY once before dwc3 is loaded, but
usually the PHY driver will then hold the GPIOs to turn off the
PHY when requested (e.g. during suspend).
To fix the problem, this reverts the commit to restore the old
behavior to put the GPIOs immediately after usage.

Bay Trail / BYT SoCs do not have a builtin device-mode phy, instead
they require an external ULPI phy for device-mode.
Only some BYT devices have an external phy, but even on those devices
device-mode is not working because the dwc3 does not see the phy.
The problem is that the ACPI fwnode for the dwc3 does not contain the
expected GPIO resources for the GPIOs connected to the chip-select and
reset pins of the phy.
I've found the workaround which some Android x86 kernels use for this:
https://github.com/BORETS24/Kernel-for-Asus-Zenfone-2/blob/master/arch/x86/platform/intel-mid/device_libs/pci/platform_usb_otg.c
Which boils down to hardcoding the GPIOs for these devices.
The good news it that all boards (*) use the same GPIOs.
This commit fixes the ULPI phy not woring by adding a gpiod_lookup_table
call which adds a hardcoded mapping for BYT devices. Note that the mapping
added by gpiod_add_lookup_table is a fallback mapping, so boards which
properly provide GPIO resources in the ACPI firmware-node resources
will not use this.
