c19c6c954b arch/tile: enable interrupts in do_work_pending()
All the called functions expect interrupts to be enabled, and
now one of them has started to warn about it, so make it correct.

 "This has four bug-fixes and one tiny feature that I forgot to put
  initially in my tree due to oversight.

  The feature is for kdump kernels to speed up the /proc/vmcore reading.
  There is a ram_is_pfn helper function that the different platforms can
  register for.  We are now doing that.

  The bug-fixes cover some embarrassing struct pv_cpu_ops variables
  being set to NULL on Xen (but not baremetal).  We had a similar issue
  in the past with {write|read}_msr_safe and this fills the three
  missing ones.  The other bug-fix is to make the console output (hvc)
  be capable of dealing with misbehaving backends and not fall flat on
  its face.  Lastly, a quirk for older XenBus implementations that came
  with an ancient v3.4 hypervisor (so RHEL5 based) - reading of certain
  non-existent attributes just hangs the guest during bootup - so we
  take precaution of not doing that on such older installations.

1a7bbda5b1 xen/bootup: allow {read|write}_cr8 pvops call.
We actually do not do anything about it. Just return a default
value of zero and if the kernel tries to write anything but 0
we BUG_ON.

This fixes the case when an user tries to suspend the machine
and it blows up in save_processor_state b/c 'read_cr8' is set
to NULL and we get:

cd0608e71e xen/bootup: allow read_tscp call for Xen PV guests.
The hypervisor will trap it. However without this patch,
we would crash as the .read_tscp is set to NULL. This patch
fixes it and sets it to the native_read_tscp call.

      allied with some bug at the dummy regulator driver, causes OOPSes
      during boot time.

      Long story short: even fixing the above, the proposed patches
      OOPSed when running the DMABUF test.  Not sure yet if the OOPSes
      are due to some other undetected regressions, or due to some bug
      on the patches.

      Due to the above, DMABUF patches for vb2 got NACKed for 3.7."

  irq_domain_add_simple() as reviewed by Rob Herring introduce new

  wherever a "legacy" domain is registered, which is necessary for any
  platform using sparse IRQs, and many irq chips are say GPIO
  controllers which may be used with several systems, some with sparse
  IRQs some not, we push this into the irq_domain_add_simple() so we can
  atleast do mistakes in one place.

  The irq_domain_add_simple() is currently unused in the kernel, so I
  need to provide a user.  The Nomadik stuff that goes with are changes
  to the driver I use day-to-day to make use of this facility (and a
  dependency), so see it as a way to eat my own dogfood: if this blows
  up the egg hits my face.

 plan for 3.8 is to adapt all board files to provide a lookup table for

c22df08c7f pinctrl/nomadik: support other alternate-C functions
Upgrade nomadik pinctrl driver to enable selection of other
alternate-C[1-4] functions on some specific ux500 SoC pins.
Handling of those functions is done thanks to PRCM GPIOCR
registers. This was previously managed in PRCMU driver and
it was not really convenient. Idea is to provide a common
way to control all alternate functions.

Note that this improvement does not support the old-fashioned way
used to control nomadik pins, namely the "nmk_config_pin()" function
and its derivatives.

warning in assabet.c", but apparently gcc has become smarter (or dumber)

450e47da67 s390/entry: fix svc number for TIF_SYSCALL system call restart
The load of the svc number in the TIF_SYSCALL restart path needs to be
done with an instruction that loads all 64 bits of %r1, 'lh' only loads
32 bits. If the upper half of %r1 is not zero and has the msb set,
entry64.S will try to execute an svc with a really large number.
What will be in the upper half of %r1 depends on the code generated by
gcc for the functions on the do_signal() callchain.

fc7e48aad3 s390/mm,vmem: fix vmem_add_mem()/vmem_remove_range()
vmem_add_mem() should only then insert a large page if pmd_none() is true
for the specific entry. We might have a leftover from a previous mapping.
In addition make vmem_remove_range()'s page table walk code more complete
and fix a couple of potential endless loops (which can never happen :).

c972cc60c2 s390/vmalloc: have separate modules area
Add a special module area on top of the vmalloc area, which may be only
used for modules and bpf jit generated code.
This makes sure that inter module branches will always happen without a
trampoline and in addition having all the code within a 2GB frame is
branch prediction unit friendly.

9be5f34f3f s390/mm: let kernel text section always begin at 1MB
Let the kernel text section always begin at 1MB. This allows to always have
a large frame in the identity mapping of the kernel image for beginning of
the text section, if the machine has EDAT1 support.
Moving the beginning from 64K to 1MB doesn't cost any memory, since we make
the memory between 64K and 1MB available for the page allocator.

8fe234d3c8 s390/mm: fix mapping of read-only kernel text section
Within the identity mapping the kernel text section is mapped read-only.
However when mapping the first and last page of the text section we must
round upwards and downwards respectively, if only parts of a page belong
to the section.
Otherwise potential rw data can be mapped read-only. So the rounding must
be done just the other way we have it right now.

This is more or less the same as the x86 page table dumper which was
merged four years ago: 926e5392 "x86: add code to dump the (kernel)
page tables for visual inspection by kernel developers".

We add a file at /sys/kernel/debug/kernel_page_tables for debugging
purposes so it's quite easy to see the kernel page table layout and
possible odd mappings:

This usually makes only sense for kernel developers. The output
with CONFIG_DEBUG_PAGEALLOC is not very helpful, because of the
huge number of mapped out pages, however I decided for the time
being to not add a !DEBUG_PAGEALLOC dependency.
Maybe it's helpful for somebody even with that option.
