afe45277ad hwmon: (dell-smm) Add support for disabling automatic BIOS fan control
This patch exports standard hwmon pwmX_enable sysfs attribute for
enabling or disabling automatic fan control by BIOS. Standard value
"1" is for disabling automatic BIOS fan control and value "2" for
enabling.

By default BIOS auto mode is enabled by laptop firmware.

When BIOS auto mode is enabled, custom fan speed value (set via hwmon
pwmX sysfs attribute) is overwritten by SMM in few seconds and
therefore any custom settings are without effect. So this is reason
why implementing option for disabling BIOS auto mode is needed.

So finally this patch allows kernel to set and control fan speed on
laptops, but it can be dangerous (like setting speed of other fans).

The SMM commands to enable or disable automatic fan control are not
documented and are not the same on all Dell laptops. Therefore a
whitelist is used to send the correct codes only on laptopts for which
they are known.

This patch was originally developed by Pali Rohár; later Giovanni
Mascellani implemented the whitelist.

59dfa75e5d hwmon: Add driver for Texas Instruments TMP512/513 sensor chips.
TI's TMP512/513 are I2C/SMBus system monitor chips. These chips
monitor the supply voltage, supply current, power consumption
and provide one local and up to three (TMP513) remote temperature sensors.

It has been tested using a TI TMP513 development kit (TMP513EVM)

The ltc2947 is a high precision power and energy monitor with an
internal sense resistor supporting up to +/- 30A. Three internal no
Latency ADCs ensure accurate measurement of voltage and current, while
high-bandwidth analog multiplication of voltage and current provides
accurate power measurement in a wide range of applications. Internal or
external clocking options enable precise charge and energy measurements.

2057bdfb71 hwmon: (ina3221) Add summation feature support
This patch implements the summation feature of INA3221, mainly the
SCC (enabling) and SF (warning flag) bits of MASK_ENABLE register,
INA3221_SHUNT_SUM (summation of shunt voltages) register, and the
INA3221_CRIT_SUM (its critical alert setting) register.

Although the summation feature allows user to select which channels
to be added to the result, as an initial support, this patch simply
selects all channels by default, with one only condition: all shunt
resistor values need to be the same. This is because the summation
of current channels can be only accurately calculated, using shunt
voltage sum register, if all shunt resistors are equivalent.

Our driver configures the device to read at 2Hz, but then only allows the
user to read cached temp values at up to 0.5Hz. Let's allow users to read

92b39ad440 hwmon: (pmbus/ibm-cffps) Fix LED blink behavior
The LED blink_set function incorrectly did not tell the PSU LED to blink
if brightness was LED_OFF. Fix this, and also correct the LED_OFF
command data, which should give control of the LED back to the PSU
firmware. Also prevent I2C failures from getting the driver LED state
out of sync and add some dev_dbg statements.

8194c28efd powerpc fixes for 5.4 #4
Our recent cleanup of EEH led to an oops on bare metal machines when the cxl
 (CAPI) driver creates virtual devices for an attached FPGA accelerator.
 
 The "secure virtual machine" support we added in v5.4 had a bug if the kernel
 was relocated (moved during boot), in those cases the signature of the kernel
 text wouldn't verify and the Ultravisor would refuse to run the VM.
 
 A recent change to disable interrupts before calling arch_cpu_idle_dead() caused
 a WARN_ON() in our bare metal CPU offline code to always trigger.
 
 The KUAP (SMAP) support we added for 32-bit Book3S had a bug if the address
 range crossed a segment (256MB) boundary which could lead to spurious faults.

aefc3e723a net: fix installing orphaned programs
When netdevice with offloaded BPF programs is destroyed
the programs are orphaned and removed from the program
IDA - their IDs get released (the programs may remain
accessible via existing open file descriptors and pinned
files). After IDs are released they are set to 0.

This confuses dev_change_xdp_fd() because it compares
the __dev_xdp_query() result where 0 means no program
with prog->aux->id where 0 means orphaned.

dev_change_xdp_fd() would have incorrectly returned success
even though it had not installed the program.

Since drivers already catch this case via bpf_offload_dev_match()
let them handle this case. The error message drivers produce in
this case ("program loaded for a different device") is in fact
correct as the orphaned program must had to be loaded for a
different device.

62bdc8fd1c r8169: fix wrong PHY ID issue with RTL8168dp
As reported in [0] at least one RTL8168dp version has problems
establishing a link. This chip version has an integrated RTL8211b PHY,
however the chip seems to report a wrong PHY ID, resulting in a wrong
PHY driver (for Generic Realtek PHY) being loaded.
Work around this issue by adding a hook to r8168dp_2_mdio_read()
for returning the correct PHY ID.

Since it became possible for the DSA core to use a CPU port different
than 8, our bcm_sf2_imp_setup() function was broken because it assumes
that registers are applicable to port 8. In particular, the port's MAC
is going to stay disabled, so make sure we clear the RX_DIS and TX_DIS
bits if we are not configured for port 8.

Historically linux tried to stick to RFC 791, 1122, 2003
for IPv4 ID field generation.

RFC 6864 made clear that no matter how hard we try,
we can not ensure unicity of IP ID within maximum
lifetime for all datagrams with a given source
address/destination address/protocol tuple.

Linux uses a per socket inet generator (inet_id), initialized
at connection startup with a XOR of 'jiffies' and other
fields that appear clear on the wire.

Thiemo Nagel pointed that this strategy is a privacy
concern as this provides 16 bits of entropy to fingerprint
devices.

Let's switch to a random starting point, this is just as
good as far as RFC 6864 is concerned and does not leak
anything critical.

8d5cfd7f76 igb: Fix constant media auto sense switching when no cable is connected
At least on the i350 there is an annoying behavior that is maybe also
present on 82580 devices, but was probably not noticed yet as MAS is not
widely used.

If no cable is connected on both fiber/copper ports the media auto sense
code will constantly swap between them as part of the watchdog task and
produce many unnecessary kernel log messages.

The swap code responsible for this behavior (switching to fiber) should
not be executed if the current media type is copper and there is no signal
detected on the fiber port. In this case we can safely wait until the
AUTOSENSE_EN bit is cleared.
