dcc3ce0b7d watchdog: sama5d4_wdt: Convert to use device managed functions and other improvements
Use device managed functions to simplify error handling, reduce
source code size, improve readability, and reduce the likelyhood of bugs.
Other improvements as listed below.

The conversion was done automatically with coccinelle using the
following semantic patches. The semantic patches and the scripts
used to generate this commit log are available at
https://github.com/groeck/coccinelle-patches

- Drop assignments to otherwise unused variables
- Drop empty remove function
- Introduce local variable 'struct device *dev' and use it instead of
  dereferencing it repeatedly
- Replace stop on remove with call to watchdog_stop_on_unregister()
- Use devm_watchdog_register_driver() to register watchdog device

Use devm_platform_ioremap_resource to reduce source code size,
improve readability, and reduce the likelyhood of bugs.

2e0432f8f8 watchdog: sama5d4: fix timeout-sec usage
When using watchdog_init_timeout to update the default timeout value,
an error means that there is no "timeout-sec" in the relevant device
tree node.

This should not prevent binding of the driver to the device.

976932e400 watchdog: sama5d4: make use of timeout-secs provided in devicetree
watchdog_init_timeout() will allways pick timeout_param since it
defaults to a valid timeout.

Following best practice described in
Documentation/watchdog/watchdog-kernel-api.txt to make use of
the parameter logic.

5dca80f63e watchdog: sama5d4: Add comment explaining what happens on resume
Because suspending to RAM may lose the register values, they are restored
on resume. This is currently done unconditionally because there is
currently no way to know (from the driver) whether they have really been
lost or are still valid. Writing MR also pings the watchdog and this may
not be what is expected so add a comment explaining why it happens.

ddd6d240b2 watchdog: sama5d4: fix race condition
WDT_MR and WDT_CR must not updated within three slow clock periods after
the last ping (write to WDT_CR or WDT_MR). Ensure enough time has elapsed
before writing those registers.
wdt_write() waits for 4 periods to ensure at least 3 edges are seen by the
IP.

015b528644 watchdog: sama5d4: fix WDDIS handling
The datasheet states: "When setting the WDDIS bit, and while it is set, the
fields WDV and WDD must not be modified."

Because the whole configuration is already cached inside .mr, wait for the
user to enable the watchdog to configure it so it is enabled and configured
at the same time (what the IP is actually expecting).

When the watchdog is already enabled, it is not an issue to reconfigure it.

722ce6356d watchdog: sama5d4: Cache MR instead of a partial config
.config is used to cache a part of WDT_MR at probe time and is not used
afterwards. Instead of doing that, actually cache MR and avoid reading it
every time it is modified.

76534860f1 watchdog: add a driver to support SAMA5D4 watchdog timer
From SAMA5D4, the watchdog timer is upgrated with a new feature,
which is describled as in the datasheet, "WDT_MR can be written
until a LOCKMR command is issued in WDT_CR".
That is to say, as long as the bootstrap and u-boot don't issue
a LOCKMR command, WDT_MR can be written more than once in the driver.

So the SAMA5D4 watchdog driver's implementation is different from
the at91sam9260 watchdog driver implemented in file at91sam9_wdt.c.
The user application open the device file to enable the watchdog timer
hardware, and close to disable it, and set the watchdog timer timeout
by seting WDV and WDD fields of WDT_MR register, and ping the watchdog
by issuing WDRSTT command to WDT_CR register with hard-coded key.
