cfa9cfbc08 regulator: ab3100: add missing voltage table
The conversion to voltage tables in

commit a3beb74261
"regulator: ab3100: Use regulator_list_voltage_table()"

missed to add the voltage table to the buck. Fix this and
it works like a charm.

1c9d2d71a3 regulator: palmas: Fix palmas_probe error handling
Fix below error handling cases:

1. If reading PALMAS_SMPS_CTRL fails, simply returns ret rather than goto
   err_unregister_regulator because we have not call regulator_register().
2. If palmas_ldo_init() fails, we need to call regulator_unregister() for the
   regulator we just successfully registered in this for loop iteration.

a5f8ae2154 regulator: palmas: Fix calculating selector in palmas_map_voltage_ldo
This patch fixes below issues when choosing selector:

1. Current code returns negative selector if min_uV < 900000 which is wrong.
   For example, it is possible to satisfy the request with selector = 1 if
   the requested min_uV is 850000.
2. Current code may select a voltage lower than requested min_uV.
   For example, if the requested min_uV is 945000, current code chooses
   selector = 1 which is lower than requested min_uV.
   DIV_ROUND_UP to avoid this case.

Fix up mostly trivial conflicts, with the exception of
drivers/usb/host/ehci-omap.c in particular, which had some
re-organization of the reset sequence (commit 1a49e2ac96: "EHCI:
centralize controller initialization") that clashed with commit
2761a63945 ("mfd: USB: Fix the omap-usb EHCI ULPI PHY reset fix
issues").

In particular, commit 2761a63945 moved the usb_add_hcd() to the
*middle* of the reset sequence, which clashes fairly badly with the
reset sequence re-organization (although it could have been done inside
the new omap_ehci_init() function).

I left that part of commit 2761a63945 just undone.

bdc0077af5 SCSI misc on 20120724
The most important feature of this patch set is the new async infrastructure
 that makes sure async_synchronize_full() synchronizes all domains and allows
 us to remove all the hacks (like having scsi_complete_async_scans() in the
 device base code) and means that the async infrastructure will "just work" in
 future. The rest is assorted driver updates (aacraid, bnx2fc, virto-scsi,
 megaraid, bfa, lpfc, qla2xxx, qla4xxx) plus a lot of infrastructure work in
 sas and FC.

The logic of calculating selector in palmas_map_voltage_smps() does not match

We use below equation to calculate voltage when selector > 0:

RANGE is either x1 or x2

a3cb80f43a regulator: twl: Fix the formula to calculate vsel and voltage for twl6030ldo
In twl6030ldo_set_voltage, current code use below formula to calculate vsel:
        vsel = (min_uV/1000 - 1000)/100 + 1;
This is worng because when min_uV is 1000000 uV, vsel is 1.
It should be 0 in this case.
Fix it by change the equation to: (This equation is common for linear mapping)
        vsel = DIV_ROUND_UP(min_uV - rdev->desc->min_uV, rdev->desc->uV_step);

In twl6030ldo_get_voltage, current code use below formula to calculate voltage:
        mV = 1000mv + 100mv * (vsel - 1)
This is worng because when vsel is 0, mV is 900mV. Note the min_uV is 1000mV.
Fix it by change the equation to: (This equation is common for linear mapping)
        return rdev->desc->min_uV + vsel * rdev->desc->uV_step;

Convert to devm_gpio_request to save a few error handling code.

This patch properly handle the gpio_request failure, we should return error

I think one of the reason we got -EBUSY is because current code does not free
gpios in s5m8767_pmic_remove(). So it got -EBUSY when reload the module.

Yest another reason is in current code if gpio_request() returns error,
the rest of the code still calls gpio_direction_output to config buck_gpios

8fa25eda86 regulator: max8997: Properly handle gpio_request failure
Convert to devm_gpio_request to save a few error handling code.

This patch properly handle the gpio_request failure with -EBUSY, we should
return error rather than ommit the gpio_request failure with -EBUSY.

I think one of the reason we got -EBUSY is because current code does not free
gpios in max8997_pmic_remove(). So it got -EBUSY when reload the module.

Yest another reason is in current code if gpio_request() returns -EBUSY,
the rest of the code still calls gpio_direction_output to config buck125_gpios
and set gpio value in max8997_set_gpio(). This looks wrong to me.

65f735082d regulator: core: Add core support for GPIO controlled enable lines
It is very common for regulators to support having their enable signal
controlled by a GPIO. Since there are a bunch of fiddly things to get
right like handling the operations when the enable signal is tied to
a rail and it's just replicated code add support for this to the core.

Drivers should set ena_gpio in their config if they have a GPIO control,
using ena_gpio_flags to specify any flags (including GPIOF_OUT_INIT_ for
the initial state) and ena_gpio_invert if the GPIO is active low. The
core will then override any enable and disable operations the driver has
and instead control the specified GPIO.

This will in the future also allow us to further extend the core by
identifying when several enable signals have been tied together and
handling this properly.

Lots of regulator drivers have checks in their map_voltage() functions
to verify that the result of the mapping is in the range originally

c5f3939b8f regulator: core: Support fixed voltages in regulator_is_supported_voltage()
Currently regulator_is_supported_voltage() works by enumerating the set
of voltages which can be set by the regulator but the checks we're doing
to impose constraints mean that if we can't vary the voltage we'll not
report any voltages as supported even though the regulator is actually
set at that voltage.

We could fix the voltage listing but this would mean that list_voltage()
could end up going to the hardware to get the current voltage which isn't
expected (it's supposed to be very cheap) so instead special case things
when we can't change the voltage and compare the requested range against
the current voltage.

max_uV > tps->info[rid]->max_uV.

The equation we used in uv_to_vsel() does not allow
min_uV < tps->info[rid]->min_uV, otherwise it returns negative selector.
So we need to set min_uV = tps->info[rid]->min_uV if
min_uV < tps->info[rid]->min_uV.

Currently regulator_register_fixed() uses a constant name to register a

- AP DVFS voltage table: 0.8v, 0.9v, 1.0v
- During AP works on lowest voltage(0.8V), watchdog reset is asserted
- AP can't boot, because vdd arm is still 0.8v

Solution
- Basic concept:
  After ap watchdog reset, GPIO configuration is changed by default value
- S5M8767A has function of voltage control with gpio (8 levels with 3 gpios)
- Set bootable voltage on level 0 -> can work with default gpio configuration
- In the probing, Change voltage control level from level 0 to level 1
- Execute normal dvfs operation on level 1
- After watchdog reset, ap gpio is set by default value
- PMIC operation mode is changed by ap reset (level1 -> level0)
- Regardless of previous vdd_arm voltage, AP always can be booted.

regulator_set_voltage_time_sel() only supports linear or table based mapping.
In case it is misused, also warn if neither linear nor table based mapping
is used with regulator_set_voltage_time_sel().

6f0b2c696c regulator: Add ramp_delay configuration to constraints
For some hardwares ramp_delay for BUCKs is a configurable parameter which can
be configured through DT or board file.This patch adds ramp_delay to regulator
constraints and allow user to configure it for regulators which supports this
feature, through DT or board file. It will provide two ways of setting the
ramp_delay for a regulator:
	First, by setting it as constraints in board file(for configurable
regulators) and set_machine_constraints() will take care of setting it on
hardware by calling(the provided) .set_ramp_delay() operation(callback).
	Second, by setting it as data in regulator_desc(as fixed/default
ramp_delay rate) for a regulator in driver.

regulator_set_voltage_time_sel() will give preference to
constraints->ramp_delay while reading ramp_delay rate for regulator. Similarly
users should also take care accordingly while refering ramp_delay rate(in case
of implementing their private .set_voltage_time_sel() callbacks for different
regulators).

07b9e329f9 regulator: ab8500: Remove min_uV and max_uV from struct ab8500_regulator_info
The min_uV and max_uV are not really used in the code and misleading because
the min_uV and max_uV settings does not match the value in the voltage table.

For example, we have
static const unsigned int ldo_vaux3_voltages[] = {
        1200000,
        1500000,
        1800000,
        2100000,
        2500000,
        2750000,
        2790000,
        2910000,
};

With below min_uV/max_uV settings for AB8500_LDO_AUX3.
.min_uV                 = 1100000,
.max_uV                 = 3300000,

The min_uV/max_uV for AB8500_LDO_AUX3 seems copy-paste from AB8500_LDO_AUX2
and is wrong.

According to the datasheet:
The LDO_CTRL registers are used to set the output voltage of LDO1 and LDO2.

Thus the mask for TPS65023_LDO_1 and TPS65023_LDO_2 should be 0x07 and 0x70

Call wm8350_ldo_list_voltage() instead of open code to verify selected voltage

wm8350_ldo_val_to_mvolts() is only used in wm8350_ldo_list_voltage now, so
remove it and move the implementation to wm8350_ldo_list_voltage().

This patch also include below small changes in wm8350_ldo_map_voltage:
1. wm8350_ldo_map_voltage() returns selector, thus rename variable mV to sel.
2. Use DIV_ROUND_UP macro to calculate selector.

2f7baf89d3 regulator: core.c Pass voltage to notifier when setting voltage
The voltage being set should be passed to the call in handler
requesting the callback. Currently this is not done.

The calling handler cannot call regulator_get_voltage() to get the
information since the mutex is held by the regulator and
deadlock occurs.

Without this change the receiver of the call in cannot know what
action to take. This is used, for example, to set PAD voltages
when doing SD vccq voltage changes.

b4bc9ef625 regulator: tps65217: Convert to regulator_[is_enabled|get_voltage_sel]_regmap
This patch converts .is_enabled and .get_voltage_sel to
regulator_is_enabled_regmap and regulator_get_voltage_sel_regmap.

For .enable, .disable, and .set_voltage_sel, the write protect level is either
1 or 2. So we cannot use regulator_[enable|disable|set_voltage_sel]_regmap.

Now we store the enable reg/mask and vsel reg/mask in regulator_desc,
so we can remove enable_mask, set_vout_reg, and set_vout_mask from
struct tps_info.
