The driver uses what looks like an open-coded version of __assign_bit().
Replace it with the real thing.

pdc_enable_intr() serves as a primitive to qcom_pdc_gic_{en,dis}able,
and has a raw spinlock for mutual exclusion, which is uses with
interruptible primitives.
This means that this critical section can itself be interrupted.
Should the interrupt also be a PDC interrupt, and the endpoint driver
perform an irq_disable() on that interrupt, we end-up in a deadlock.
Fix this by using the irqsave/irqrestore variants of the locking
primitives.

A careful look at the way the PDC driver works shows that:
- all interrupts are in the same space
- all interrupts are treated the same
And yet the driver creates two domains based on whether
the interrupt gets mapped directly or from the pinctrl code,
which is obviously a waste of resources.
Kill the non-wakeup domain and unify all the interrupt handling.

PDC_NO_PARENT_IRQ is pretty pointless, as all it indicates is
that the PDC terminates the interrupt hierarchy. Which is
exactly the same as not having a mapping in the GIC space.
This is also bad practice to treat the absence of a hwirq
as a hwirq itself.
Just explicitly use the region mapping pointer, and drop
the definition.

The QCOM PDC driver creates a bunch of unnecessary levels in
the interrupt hierarchy when dealing with non-wakeup-capable
interrupts. By definition, these lines are terminated at the
PDC level, and everything below this is completely fake.
This also results in additional complexity as most of the
callbacks have to check for the validity of the parent level.
Needless to say, this doesn't look very good.
Solve this by disconnecting the interrupt hierarchy below
the last valid level, and considerably simplify the handling
of all the other interrupts by avoiding now unnecessary cheks.
In most cases, the standard irq_*_parent() handlers are directly
used.
This also cures an issue reporting by Maulik where gpio_to_irq()
returns an error after having observed a set of invalid levels.

This patch revives changes from Saravana Kannan to switch the
qcom-pdc driver to use IRQCHIP_PLATFORM_DRIVER helper macros,
and allows qcom-pdc driver to be loaded as a permanent module.
Earlier attempts at this ran into trouble with loading
dependencies, but with Saravana's fw_devlink=on set by default
now we should avoid those.

We have a problem if we use gpio-keys and configure wakeups such that
we only want one edge to wake us up. AKA:
wakeup-event-action = <EV_ACT_DEASSERTED>;
wakeup-source;
Specifically we end up with a phantom interrupt that blocks suspend if
the line was already high and we want wakeups on rising edges (AKA we
want the GPIO to go low and then high again before we wake up). The
opposite is also problematic.
Specifically, here's what's happening today:
1. Normally, gpio-keys configures to look for both edges. Due to the
current workaround introduced in commit c3c0c2e18d ("pinctrl:
qcom: Handle broken/missing PDC dual edge IRQs on sc7180"), if the
line was high we'd configure for falling edges.
2. At suspend time, we change to look for rising edges.
3. After qcom_pdc_gic_set_type() runs, we get a phantom interrupt.
We can solve this by just clearing the phantom interrupt.
NOTE: it is possible that this could cause problems for a client with
very specific needs, but there's not much we can do with this
hardware. As an example, let's say the interrupt signal is currently
high and the client is looking for falling edges. The client now
changes to look for rising edges. The client could possibly expect
that if the line has a short pulse low (and back high) that it would
always be detected. Specifically no matter when the pulse happened,
it should either have tripped the (old) falling edge trigger or the
(new) rising edge trigger. We will simply not trip it. We could
narrow down the race a bit by polling our parent before changing
types, but no matter what we do there will still be a period of time
where we can't tell the difference between a real transition (or more
than one transition) and the phantom.

Kexec can directly boot into a new kernel without going to complete
reboot. This can leave the previous kernel's configuration for PDC
interrupts as is.
Clear previous kernel's configuration during init by setting interrupts
in enable bank to zero. The IRQs specified in qcom,pdc-ranges property
are the only ones that can be used by the new kernel so clear only those
IRQs. The remaining ones may be in use by a different kernel and should
not be set by new kernel.

It has become obvious that switching a number of irqchip drivers
to being platform drivers without considering the platform was a
mistake. We have multiple reports of end-point drivers not
probing because the irqchip driver isn't there yet, breaking
the expectations of the users.
This patch reverts:

Also, due to the fact that IRQCHIP_DECLARE becomes a no-op when
building as a module, we have to replace it with platform driver
hooks explicitly.

Add irqchip calls to set/get interrupt state from the parent interrupt
controller. When GPIOs are renabled as interrupt lines, it is desirable
to clear the interrupt state at the GIC. This avoids any unwanted
interrupt as a result of stale pending state recorded when the line was
used as a GPIO.

Introduce a new domain for wakeup capable GPIOs. The domain can be
requested using the bus token DOMAIN_BUS_WAKEUP. In the following
patches, we will specify PDC as the wakeup-parent for the TLMM GPIO
irqchip. Requesting a wakeup GPIO will setup the GPIO and the
corresponding PDC interrupt as its parent.

When an interrupt is to be serviced, the convention is to mask the
interrupt at the chip and unmask after servicing the interrupt. Enabling
and disabling the interrupt at the PDC irqchip causes an interrupt storm
due to the way dual edge interrupts are handled in hardware.
Skip configuring the PDC when the IRQ is masked and unmasked, instead
use the irq_enable/irq_disable callbacks to toggle the IRQ_ENABLE
register at the PDC. The PDC's IRQ_ENABLE register is only used during
the monitoring mode when the system is asleep and is not needed for
active mode detection.

Remove the sdm845 SoC specific compatible to make the driver
easily reusable across other SoC's with the same IP block.
This will reduce further churn adding any SoC specific
compatibles unless really needed.

The PDC irqchp can convert a falling edge or level low interrupt to a
rising edge or level high interrupt at the GIC. We just need to setup
the GIC correctly. Set up the interrupt type for the IRQ_TYPE_EDGE_BOTH
as IRQ_TYPE_EDGE_RISING at the GIC.

The Power Domain Controller (PDC) on QTI SoCs like SDM845 houses an
interrupt controller along with other domain control functions to handle
interrupt related functions like handle falling edge or active low which
are not detected at the GIC and handle wakeup interrupts.
The interrupt controller is on an always-on domain for the purpose of
waking up the processor. Only a subset of the processor's interrupts are
routed through the PDC to the GIC. The PDC powers on the processors'
domain, when in low power mode and replays pending interrupts so the GIC
may wake up the processor.
