c86c7285bb Bluetooth: btintel: Fix the legacy bootloader returns tlv based version
From the ThP, it supports both legacy and TLV based HCI_Intel_Read_Version
command after downloading the operational firmware, and it causes the
driver to choose the wrong setup routines and missing firmware/ddc file.

So, as a workaround, this patch checks the fw variant from the TLV based
version, and if the device is legacy bootloader device, the legacy
HCI_Intel_Read_Version command is used to get the legacy version
information and run the legacy bootloader setup with it.

ca5425e158 Bluetooth: btintel: Add combined setup and shutdown functions
There are multiple setup and shutdown functions for Intel device and the
setup function to be used is depends on the USB PID/VID, which makes
difficult to maintain the code and increases the code size.

This patch adds combined setup and shutdown functions to provide a
single entry point for all Intel devices and choose the setup functions
based on the information read with HCI_Intel_Read_Version command.

Starting from TyP device, the command and response parameters for
HCI_Intel_Read_Version command are changed even though OCF remains
same. However, the legacy devices still can handle the command without
error even if it has a extra parameter, so to simplify the flow,
the new command format is used to read the version information for
both legacy and new (tlv based) format.

Also, it also adds a routine to setup the hdev callbacks in btintel.

This reverts commit a63f23c9d139377833a139b179793fea79ee198f.

get_unaligned_{le16|le32|le64}(p) is meant to replace code of the form
le16_to_cpu(get_unaligned((__le16 *)p)). There is no need to explicitly
do leXX_to_cpu() if get_unaligned_leXX() is used.

683cc86d81 Bluetooth: btintel: Replace zero-length array with flexible-array member
The current codebase makes use of the zero-length array language
extension to the C90 standard, but the preferred mechanism to declare
variable-length types such as these ones is a flexible array member[1][2],
introduced in C99:

struct foo {
        int stuff;
        struct boo array[];
};

By making use of the mechanism above, we will get a compiler warning
in case the flexible array does not occur last in the structure, which
will help us prevent some kind of undefined behavior bugs from being
inadvertenly introduced[3] to the codebase from now on.

Also, notice that, dynamic memory allocations won't be affected by
this change:

"Flexible array members have incomplete type, and so the sizeof operator
may not be applied. As a quirk of the original implementation of
zero-length arrays, sizeof evaluates to zero."[1]

This issue was found with the help of Coccinelle.

d06f107bcd Bluetooth: btintel: Add iBT register access over HCI support
Add regmap ibt to support Intel Bluetooth silicon register access
over HCI. Intel BT/FM combo chip allows to read/write some registers
(e.g. FM registers) via its HCI interface.

Read/Write operations are performed via a HCI transaction composed of
a HCI command (host->controller) followed by a HCI command complete
event (controller->host). Read/Write Command opcodes can be specified
to the regmap init function.
We define data formats which are intel/vendor specific.

Register Read/Write HCI command payload (Host):
Field: | REG ADDR | MODE | DATA_LEN | DATA... |
size: | 32b | 8b | 8b | 8b* |

Register Read HCI command complete event payload (Controller):
Field: | CMD STATUS | REG ADDR | DATA... |
size: | 8b | 32b | 8b* |

Register Write HCI command complete event payload (Controller):
Field: | CMD_STATUS |
size: | 8b |

Since this payload is HCI encapsulated, Little Endian byte order is
used.

Write/Read Example:

If we write 0x0000002a at address 0x00008c04, with opcode_write 0xfc5d,
The resulting transaction is (btmon trace):

< HCI Command (0x3f|0x005d) plen 10 [hci0]
        04 8c 00 00 02 04 2a 00 00 00
> HCI Event (0x0e) plen 4
      Unknown (0x3f|0x005d) ncmd 1
        00

Then, if we read the same register with opcode_read 0xfc5e:

< HCI Command (0x3f|0x005e) plen 6 [hci0]
        04 8c 00 00 02 04

145f2368c5 Bluetooth: btintel: Add Device Configuration support
btintel_load_ddc_config retrieves the ddc file and sends its content
via DDC commands (opcode 0xfc8b).

The ddc file should contain one or more DDC structures.
A DDC structure is composed of the folowing fields:
field: | DDC LEN | DDC ID | DDC VALUE |
size: | 1 byte | 2 bytes | DDC LEN - 2 |

The iBT 3.0 controllers need intel/ibt-11-5.sfi and intel/ibt-11-5.ddc
firmware files from linux-firmware repository.

The Intel version information is shared between USB and UART drivers
and with that move it into a generic function of the Intel module.

973bb97e5a Bluetooth: btintel: Add generic function for handling hardware errors
The handling of hardware error has support for providing a vendor
specific callback to deal with the error. Move the Intel specific
function out of the USB driver into the generic module so that it
can also be utilized by the UART driver.

b1f5cf0cae Bluetooth: btintel: Fix calls to __hci_cmd_sync()
Remove test of command reply status as it is already performed by
__hci_cmd_sync().

__hci_cmd_sync_ev() function already returns an error if it got a
non-zero status either through a Command Complete or a Command
Status event.

For both of these events the status is collected up in the event
handlers called by hci_event_packet() and then passed as the second
parameter to req_complete_skb(). The req_complete_skb() callback in
turn is hci_req_sync_complete() for __hci_cmd_sync_ev() which stores
the status in hdev->req_result. The hdev->req_result is then further
converted through bt_to_errno() back in __hci_cmd_sync_ev().

48f0ed1bb6 Bluetooth: btintel: Introduce generic Intel Bluetooth support
The majority of Intel Bluetooth vendor commands are shared between USB
and UART transports. This creates a separate module that eventually
will hold all Intel specific commands, but for now just start with the
commands to change the Bluetooth public address and check for the
default address.
