e324654294 ARM: use "depends on" for SoC configs instead of "if" after prompt
Many ARM sub-architectures use prompts followed by "if" conditional,
but it is wrong.

Please notice the difference between

    config ARCH_FOO
            bool "Foo SoCs" if ARCH_MULTI_V7

and

    config ARCH_FOO
            bool "Foo SoCs"
            depends on ARCH_MULTI_V7

These two are *not* equivalent!

In the former statement, it is not ARCH_FOO, but its prompt that
depends on ARCH_MULTI_V7. So, it is completely valid that ARCH_FOO
is selected by another, but ARCH_MULTI_V7 is still disabled. As it is
not unmet dependency, Kconfig never warns. This is probably not what
you want.

The former should be used only when you need to do so, and you really
understand what you are doing. (In most cases, it should be wrong!)

For enabling/disabling sub-architectures, the latter is always correct.

As a good side effect, this commit fixes some entries over 80 columns
(mach-imx, mach-integrator, mach-mbevu).

[Arnd: I note that there is not really a bug here, according to
the discussion that followed, but I can see value in being consistent
and in making the lines shorter]

75305275a7 ARM: use const and __initconst for smp_operations
These smp_operations structures are not over-written, so add "const"
qualifier and replace __initdata with __initconst.

Also, add "static" where it is possible.

8438aef01d ARM: EXYNOS: Remove redundant code from regs-pmu.h
Commit 6ec4f8d0d9 ("ARM: EXYNOS: add generic function to calculate
cpu number") introduced exynos_pmu_cpunr to be used by multi-cluster SoCs
e.g. Exynos5420, but it's no more used in the codebase and hence removing
this part of code.

23067d3976 ARM: EXYNOS: Switch to syscon reboot and poweroff
Since we switch to use generic syscon regmap based reset/poweroff
driver for exynos SoC, lets select it from ARCH_EXYNOS instead of
enabling it from various defconfigs. This also select POWER_RESET
as SYSCON-{reset, poweroff} drivers depends on it.

Also because of the above changes we don't need special handling
for reboot/poweroff in exynos pmu driver. This patch also removes
the same from exynos pmu driver to keep git bisect working.

Note: This will break reboot/poweroff on boards with older dtbs
with a newer kernel.

f833f57ff2 irqchip: Convert all alloc/xlate users from of_node to fwnode
Since we now have a generic data structure to express an
interrupt specifier, convert all hierarchical irqchips that
are OF based to use a fwnode_handle as part of their alloc

As most of these drivers have dependencies (they exchange IRQ
specifiers), change them all in a single, massive patch...

On each next iteration of for_each_compatible_node() the reference

The double of_node_get() (with enabled CONFIG_OF_DYNAMIC) lead to

833b5794e3 ARM: EXYNOS: reset Little cores when cpu is up
The cpu booting of exynos5422 has been still broken since we discussed
it in last year[1]. This patch is inspired from Odroid XU3
code (Actually, it was from samsung exynos vendor kernel)[2]. This weird
reset code was founded exynos5420 octa cores series SoCs and only
required for the first boot core is the Little core (Cortex A7).
Some of the exynos5420 boards and all of the exynos5422 boards will require
this code.

There is two ways to check the little core is the first cpu. One is
checking GPG2CON[1] GPIO value and the other is checking the cluster
number of the first cpu. I selected the latter because it's more easier
than the former.

c5fc249862 ARM: SoC cleanups for v4.3
A large cleanup branch this release, with a healthy 10k negative line delta.

Most of this is removal of legacy (non-DT) support of shmobile
platforms. There is also removal of two non-DT platforms on OMAP,
and the plat-samsung directory is cleaned out by moving most of the
previously shared-location-but-not-actually-shared files from there to
 the appropriate mach directories instead.

There are other sets of changes in here as well:

  - Rob Herring removed use of set_irq_flags under all platforms and
    moved to genirq alternatives
  - A series of timer API conversions to set-state interface
  - ep93xx, nomadik and ux500 cleanups from Linus Walleij
  - __init annotation fixes from Nicolas Pitre
+ a bunch of other changes that all add up to a nice set of cleanups

bdd2648e50 ARM: EXYNOS: switch to using generic cpufreq driver for exynos4x12
The new CPU clock type allows the use of generic CPUfreq driver.
Switch Exynos4x12 to using generic cpufreq driver.

Previously (when exynos-cpufreq driver was used with boost
functionality) ARM_EXYNOS_CPU_FREQ_BOOST_SW config option
(which enabled boost functionality) selected EXYNOS_THERMAL
one. After switching Exynos4x12 platforms to use cpufreq-dt
driver boost support is enabled in the cpufreq-dt driver
itself (because there are turbo OPPs defined in the board's
DTS file). However we still would like to allow enabling
boost support only if thermal support is also enabled for
Exynos platforms. To achieve this make ARCH_EXYNOS config
option select THERMAL and EXYNOS_THERMAL ones.

Please also note that the switch to use the generic cpufreq-dt
driver fixes the minor issue present with the old code (support
for 'boost' mode in the exynos-cpufreq driver was enabled for
all supported SoCs even though 'boost' frequency was provided
only for Exynos4x12 ones).

af9971144d ARM: EXYNOS: add coupled cpuidle support for Exynos3250
The following patch adds coupled cpuidle support for Exynos3250 to
an existing cpuidle-exynos driver. As a result it enables AFTR mode
to be used by default on Exynos3250 without the need to hot unplug
CPU1 first.

The detailed changelog:
- use exynos_[get,set]_boot_addr() in cpuidle-exynos.c and then make
  cpu_boot_reg_base() static
- use exynos_core_restart() in exynos_cpu0_enter_aftr()
- add missing smp_rmb() to exynos_cpu0_enter_aftr() (to make the code
in-sync with the platform SMP code)
- add call_firmware_op(cpu_boot, 1) to exynos_cpu0_enter_aftr()
- use dsb_sev() instead of IPI wakeup for Exynos3250 in
  exynos_cpu0_enter_aftr()
- add CPU0 vs CPU1 synchronization based on S5P_PMU_SPARE2 register
  for Exynos3250 to cpuidle-exynos.c
- add flush_cache_all() for CPU1/0 before powerdown/AFTR for
  Exynos3250 to exynos_wfi_finisher()/exynos_do_idle()

fe931229c6 ARM: exynos: Fix wake-up interrupts for Exynos3250
Commit 8b283c0254 (ARM: exynos4/5: convert pmu wakeup to
stacked domains) changed the Exynos PMU code to use stacked
domains. This has led to a number of interrupt numbers to be
fixed.

In the meantime, support for Exynos 3250 was added, missing
the required change to this platform. This amounts to revert
ace283a04a (ARM: EXYNOS: Fix wrong hwirq of RTC interrupt
for Exynos3250 SoC), as the initial patch was right, just a
bit early...

6f024978e7 ARM: EXYNOS: Fix failed second suspend on Exynos4
On Exynos4412 boards (Trats2, Odroid U3) after enabling L2 cache in
56b60b8bce ("ARM: 8265/1: dts: exynos4: Add nodes for L2 cache
controller") the second suspend to RAM failed. First suspend worked fine
but the next one hang just after powering down of secondary CPUs (system
consumed energy as it would be running but was not responsive).

The issue was caused by enabling delayed reset assertion for CPU0 just
after issuing power down of cores. This was introduced for Exynos4 in
13cfa6c4f7 ("ARM: EXYNOS: Fix CPU idle clock down after CPU off").

The whole behavior is not well documented but after checking with vendor
code this should be done like this (on Exynos4):
1. Enable delayed reset assertion when system is running (for all CPUs).
2. Disable delayed reset assertion before suspending the system.
This can be done after powering off secondary CPUs.
3. Re-enable the delayed reset assertion when system is resumed.

ERR_PTR was dereferenced during sub domain parsing, if parent domain
