002fca5df1 genirq: generic chip: Use DIV_ROUND_UP to calculate numchips
The number of interrupts in a domain may be not divisible by the
number of interrupts each chip handles. Integer division may truncate
the result, thus use DIV_ROUND_UP to count numchips.

Seems all users of irq_alloc_domain_generic_chips() in current code do
not have this issue. I just found the issue while reading the code.

modules, we get the following build errors:

ERROR: "irq_gc_mask_set_bit" [drivers/staging/imx-drm/ipu-v3/imx-ipu-v3.ko] undefined!

Export the required functions to avoid this problem.

2779db8d37 genirq: Fix can_request_irq() for IRQs without an action
Commit 02725e7471 ('genirq: Use irq_get/put functions'),
inadvertently changed can_request_irq() to return 0 for IRQs that have
no action.  This causes pcibios_lookup_irq() to select only IRQs that
already have an action with IRQF_SHARED set, or to fail if there are
none.  Change can_request_irq() to return 1 for IRQs that have no
action (if the first two conditions are met).

1f6236bfd7 genirq: Add irq_get_trigger_type() to get IRQ flags
Drivers that want to get the trigger edge/level type flags for a given
interrupt have to call irq_get_irq_data(irq) to get the struct
irq_data and then irqd_get_trigger_type(irq_data) to obtain the IRQ
flags.

This is not only error prone but also unnecessary exposes the struct
irq_data to callers.

It's better to have an irq_get_trigger_type() function to obtain the
edge/level flags for an IRQ.

ee23871389 genirq: Set irq thread to RT priority on creation
When a threaded irq handler is installed the irq thread is initially
created on normal scheduling priority. Only after the irq thread is
woken up it sets its priority to RT_FIFO MAX_USER_RT_PRIO/2 itself.

This means that interrupts that occur directly after the irq handler
is installed will be handled on a normal scheduling priority instead
of the realtime priority that one would expect.

Fix this by setting the RT priority on creation of the irq_thread.

Some controllers have irqs that aren't wired up and must never be used.
For the generic chip attached to an irq_domain this provides a mask that
can be used to block out particular irqs so that they never get mapped.

088f40b7b0 genirq: Generic chip: Add linear irq domain support
Provide infrastructure for irq chip implementations which work on
linear irq domains.

- Interface to allocate multiple generic chips which are associated to
  the irq domain.

- Interface to get the generic chip pointer for a particular hardware
  interrupt in the domain.

- irq domain mapping function to install the chip for a particular
  interrupt.

Note: This lacks a removal function for now.

There are cases where all irq_chip_type instances have separate mask
registers, making a shared mask register cache unsuitable for the
purpose.

Introduce a new flag IRQ_GC_MASK_CACHE_PER_TYPE. If set, point the per
chip mask pointer to the per chip private mask cache instead.

Today the same interrupt mask cache (stored within struct irq_chip_generic)
is shared between all the irq_chip_type instances. As there are instances
where each irq_chip_type uses a distinct mask register (as it is the case
for Orion SoCs), sharing a single mask cache may be incorrect.
So add a distinct pointer for each irq_chip_type, which for now
points to the original mask register within irq_chip_generic.
So no functional changes here.

ab465df9dd ipc/sem.c: Fix missing wakeups in do_smart_update_queue()
do_smart_update_queue() is called when an operation (semop,
semctl(SETVAL), semctl(SETALL), ...) modified the array.  It must check
which of the sleeping tasks can proceed.

do_smart_update_queue() missed a few wakeups:
 - if a sleeping complex op was completed, then all per-semaphore queues
   must be scanned - not only those that were modified by *sops
 - if a sleeping simple op proceeded, then the global queue must be
   scanned again

And:
 - the test for "|sops == NULL) before scanning the global queue is not
   required: If the global queue is empty, then it doesn't need to be
   scanned - regardless of the reason for calling do_smart_update_queue()

The patch is not optimized, i.e.  even completing a wait-for-zero
operation causes a rescan.  This is done to keep the patch as simple as
possible.

7bb66f6e6e ARC: lazy dcache flush broke gdb in non-aliasing configs
gdbserver inserting a breakpoint ends up calling copy_user_page() for a
code page. The generic version of which (non-aliasing config) didn't set
the PG_arch_1 bit hence update_mmu_cache() didn't sync dcache/icache for
corresponding dynamic loader code page - causing garbade to be executed.

So now aliasing versions of copy_user_highpage()/clear_page() are made
default. There is no significant overhead since all of special alias
handling code is compiled out for non-aliasing build

03e04f048d aio: fix kioctx not being freed after cancellation at exit time
The recent changes overhauling fs/aio.c introduced a bug that results in
the kioctx not being freed when outstanding kiocbs are cancelled at
exit_aio() time.  Specifically, a kiocb that is cancelled has its
completion events discarded by batch_complete_aio(), which then fails to
wake up the process stuck in free_ioctx().  Fix this by modifying the
wait_event() condition in free_ioctx() appropriately.

This patch was tested with the cancel operation in the thread based code
posted yesterday.

a9ff785e44 mm/pagewalk.c: walk_page_range should avoid VM_PFNMAP areas
A panic can be caused by simply cat'ing /proc/<pid>/smaps while an
application has a VM_PFNMAP range.  It happened in-house when a
benchmarker was trying to decipher the memory layout of his program.

/proc/<pid>/smaps and similar walks through a user page table should not
be looking at VM_PFNMAP areas.

Certain tests in walk_page_range() (specifically split_huge_page_pmd())
assume that all the mapped PFN's are backed with page structures.  And
this is not usually true for VM_PFNMAP areas.  This can result in panics
on kernel page faults when attempting to address those page structures.

There are a half dozen callers of walk_page_range() that walk through a
task's entire page table (as N.  Horiguchi pointed out).  So rather than
change all of them, this patch changes just walk_page_range() to ignore
VM_PFNMAP areas.

The logic of hugetlb_vma() is moved back into walk_page_range(), as we
want to test any vma in the range.

VM_PFNMAP areas are used by:
- graphics memory manager   gpu/drm/drm_gem.c
- global reference unit     sgi-gru/grufile.c
- sgi special memory        char/mspec.c
- and probably several out-of-tree modules

Currently the driver can crash with a NULL pointer dereference if no
pdata is provided, despite of successful registration of the MFD part.

b4ca2b4b57 ocfs2: goto out_unlock if ocfs2_get_clusters_nocache() failed in ocfs2_fiemap()
Last time we found there is lock/unlock bug in ocfs2_file_aio_write, and
then we did a thorough search for all lock resources in
ocfs2_inode_info, including rw, inode and open lockres and found this
bug.  My kernel version is 3.0.13, and it is also in the lastest version
3.9.  In ocfs2_fiemap, once ocfs2_get_clusters_nocache failed, it should
goto out_unlock instead of out, because we need release buffer head, up
read alloc sem and unlock inode.
