Now that the fbops member of struct fb_info is const, we can start
making the ops const as well.
This does not cover all drivers; some actually modify the fbops struct,
for example to adjust for different configurations, and others do more
involved things that I'd rather not touch in practically obsolete
drivers. Mostly this is the low hanging fruit where we can add "const"
and be done with it.
v3:
- un-constify atyfb, mb862xx, nvidia and uvesabf (0day)
v2:
- fix typo (Christophe de Dinechin)
- use "static const" instead of "const static" in mx3fb.c
- also constify smscufx.c

failure and since kzalloc() will print error message in such case
we can omit printing extra error message in drivers (which BTW is
what the majority of framebuffer_alloc() users is doing already).

When the linux kernel is build with (typical kernel ship with Debian
installer):
CONFIG_FB=y
CONFIG_FB_OF=y
CONFIG_VT_HW_CONSOLE_BINDING=y
CONFIG_FB_RADEON=m
The offb driver takes precedence over module radeonfb. It is then
impossible to load the module, error reported is:
[ 96.551486] radeonfb 0000:00:10.0: enabling device (0006 -> 0007)
[ 96.551526] radeonfb 0000:00:10.0: BAR 0: can't reserve [mem 0x98000000-0x9fffffff pref]

do_gettimeofday() is deprecated and a bit clumsy. This changes
radeon_probe_pll_params() over to using ktime_get() with monotonic
times. There is no need to check for negative values any more
since the monotonic clocksource cannot go backwards, but I'm
adding a check for zero-division in case of a bad clocksource.

drivers that actually need things provided by asm/pci-bridge.h are the

Convert the driver from using the x86 specific MTRR code to
the architecture agnostic arch_phys_wc_add(). arch_phys_wc_add()
will avoid MTRR if write-combining is available, in order to
take advantage of that also ensure the ioremap'd area is requested
as write-combining.
There are a few motivations for this:
a) Take advantage of PAT when available
b) Help bury MTRR code away, MTRR is architecture specific and on
x86 its replaced by PAT
c) Help with the goal of eventually using _PAGE_CACHE_UC over
_PAGE_CACHE_UC_MINUS on x86 on ioremap_nocache() (see commit
de33c442e titled "x86 PAT: fix performance drop for glx,
use UC minus for ioremap(), ioremap_nocache() and
pci_mmap_page_range()")
The conversion done is expressed by the following Coccinelle
SmPL patch, it additionally required manual intervention to
address all the #ifdery and removal of redundant things which
arch_phys_wc_add() already addresses such as verbose message
about when MTRR fails and doing nothing when we didn't get
an MTRR.

The PPC_OF is a ppc specific option which is used to mean that the
firmware device tree access functions are available. Since all the
ppc platforms have a device tree, it is aways set to 'y' for ppc.
So it makes no sense to keep a such option in the current kernel.

The drivers/video directory is a mess. It contains generic video related
files, directories for backlight, console, linux logo, lots of fbdev
device drivers, fbdev framework files.
Make some order into the chaos by creating drivers/video/fbdev

No functionality is changed, although I guess it is possible that some
subtle Makefile build order related issue could be created by this
patch.
