35d7a6f1fb nfc: hci: pass callback data param as pointer in nci_request()
The nci_request() receives a callback function and unsigned long data
argument "opt" which is passed to the callback. Almost all of the
nci_request() callers pass pointer to a stack variable as data argument.
Only few pass scalar value (e.g. u8).

All such callbacks do not modify passed data argument and in previous
commit they were made as const. However passing pointers via unsigned
long removes the const annotation. The callback could simply cast
unsigned long to a pointer to writeable memory.

Use "const void *" as type of this "opt" argument to solve this and
prevent modifying the pointed contents. This is also consistent with
generic pattern of passing data arguments - via "void *". In few places
which pass scalar values, use casts via "unsigned long" to suppress any
warnings.

ddecf5556f nfc: nci: constify several pointers to u8, sk_buff and other structs
Several functions receive pointers to u8, sk_buff or other structs but
do not modify the contents so make them const. This allows doing the
same for local variables and in total makes the code a little bit safer.

This makes const also data passed as "unsigned long opt" argument to
nci_request() function. Usual flow for such functions is:
1. Receive "u8 *" and store it (the pointer) in a structure
allocated on stack (e.g. struct nci_set_config_param),
2. Call nci_request() or __nci_request() passing a callback function an
the pointer to the structure via an "unsigned long opt",
3. nci_request() calls the callback which dereferences "unsigned long
   opt" in a read-only way.

This converts all above paths to use proper pointer to const data, so
entire flow is safer.

b9c28286d8 nfc: constify nci_ops
The struct nci_ops is modified by NFC core in only one case:
nci_allocate_device() receives too many proprietary commands (prop_ops)
to configure. This is a build time known constrain, so a graceful
handling of such case is not necessary.

Instead, fail the nci_allocate_device() and add BUILD_BUG_ON() to places
which set these.

This allows to constify the struct nci_ops (consisting of function
pointers) for correctness and safety.

da60fbe7ef NFC: Replace zero-length array with flexible-array member
The current codebase makes use of the zero-length array language
extension to the C90 standard, but the preferred mechanism to declare
variable-length types such as these ones is a flexible array member[1][2],
introduced in C99:

struct foo {
        int stuff;
        struct boo array[];
};

By making use of the mechanism above, we will get a compiler warning
in case the flexible array does not occur last in the structure, which
will help us prevent some kind of undefined behavior bugs from being
inadvertently introduced[3] to the codebase from now on.

Also, notice that, dynamic memory allocations won't be affected by
this change:

"Flexible array members have incomplete type, and so the sizeof operator
may not be applied. As a quirk of the original implementation of
zero-length arrays, sizeof evaluates to zero."[1]

This issue was found with the help of Coccinelle.

This is similar to commit e285d5bfb7 ("NFC: Fix the number of pipes")

As the comment next to the define explains, the pipe identifier is 7

out of bounds array access:

e285d5bfb7 NFC: Fix the number of pipes
According to ETSI TS 102 622 specification chapter 4.4 pipe identifier
is 7 bits long which allows for 128 unique pipe IDs. Because
NFC_HCI_MAX_PIPES is used as the number of pipes supported and not
as the max pipe ID, its value should be 128 instead of 127.

nfc_hci_recv_from_llc extracts pipe ID from packet header using
NFC_HCI_FRAGMENT(0x7F) mask which allows for pipe ID value of 127.
Same happens when NCI_HCP_MSG_GET_PIPE() is being used. With
pipes array having only 127 elements and pipe ID of 127 the OOB memory
access will result.

1a09c56f54 NFC: digital: Add support for NFC DEP Response Waiting Time
When sending an ATR_REQ, the initiator must wait for the ATR_RES at
least 'RWT(nfcdep, activation) + dRWT(nfcdep)' and no more than
'RWT(nfcdep,activation) + dRWT(nfcdep) + dT(nfcdep,initiator)'. This
gives a timeout value between 1237 ms and 1337 ms. This patch defines
DIGITAL_ATR_RES_RWT to 1337 used for the timeout value of ATR_REQ
command.

For other DEP PDUs, the initiator must wait between 'RWT + dRWT(nfcdep)'
and 'RWT + dRWT(nfcdep) + dT(nfcdep, initiator)' where RWT is given by
the following formula: '(256 * 16 / f(c)) * 2^wt' where wt is the value
of the TO field in the ATR_RES response and is in the range between 0
and 14. This patch declares a mapping table for wt values and gives RWT
max values between 100 ms and 5049 ms.

This patch also defines DIGITAL_ATR_RES_TO_WT, the maximum wt value in

This patch fixes the way an I-PDU is saved in case it needs to be sent
again. It is now copied using pskb_copy() and not simply referenced
using skb_get() since it could be modified by the driver.

digital_in_send_saved_skb() and digital_tg_send_saved_skb() still get a
reference on the saved skb which is re-sent but release it if the send
operation fails. That way the caller doesn't have to take care about skb
ref in case of error.

RTOX supervisor PDU must not be saved as this can override a previously

(in 2012), without noticing that the function has no users at all
(and curiously, never had any users).

Delete it.

While at it, remove non-static "inline" hints on nearby functions:
these hints don't work across compilation units anyway,
and these functions are not used in their .c file, thus they are
never inlined. IOW: "inline" here does not help in any way.

- HCI_DM_UPDATE_AID: Allow to configure an AID routing into the
CLF routing table following RF technology, CLF mode or protocol.
- HCI_DM_GET_INFO: Allow to retrieve CLF information.
- HCI_DM_GET_DATA: Allow to retrieve CLF configurable data such as
low level drivers configurations or RF trimmings.
- HCI_DM_DIRECT_LOAD: Allow to load a firmware into the CLF.
A complete packet can be more than 8KB.
- HCI_DM_RESET: Allow to run a CLF reset in order to "commit" CLF
configuration changes without CLF power off.
- HCI_GET_PARAM: Allow to retrieve an HCI CLF parameter (for example
  the white list).
- HCI_DM_FIELD_GENERATOR: Allow to generate different kind of RF
technology. When using this command to anti-collision is done.
- HCI_LOOPBACK: Allow to echo a command and test the Dh to CLF

- HCI_DM_VDC_MEASUREMENT_VALUE: Allow to measure the field applied
on the CLF antenna. A value between 0 and 0x0f is returned. 0 is
  maximum.
- HCI_DM_FWUPD_START: Allow to put CLF into firmware update mode.
It is a specific CLF command as there is no GPIO for this.
- HCI_DM_FWUPD_END: Allow to complete firmware update.
- HCI_DM_VDC_VALUE_COMPARISON: Allow to compare the field applied

0a97a3cba2 NFC: nci: Allow the driver to set handler for core nci ops
The driver may be required to act when some responses or
notifications arrive. For example the NCI core does not have a
handler for NCI_OP_CORE_GET_CONFIG_RSP. The NFCC can send a
config response that has to be read by the driver and the packet
may contain vendor specific data.

The Fields Peak driver needs to take certain actions when a reset
notification arrives (packet also not handled by the nfc core).

The driver handlers do not interfere with the core and they are
called after the core processes the packet.
