82977af93a sh: rename suffix-y to suffix_y
'export suffix-y' does not work reliably because hyphens are disallowed
in shell variables.

A similar issue was fixed by commit 2bfbe7881e ("kbuild: Do not use
hyphen in exported variable name").

If I do similar in dash, ARCH=sh fails to build.

  $ mv linux linux~
  $ cd linux~
  $ dash
  $ make O=foo/bar ARCH=sh CROSS_COMPILE=sh4-linux-gnu- defconfig all
  make[1]: Entering directory '/home/masahiro/linux~/foo/bar'

The maintainer of GNU Make stated that there is no consistent way to
export variables that do not meet the shell's naming criteria.
(https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?55719)

Consequently, you cannot use hyphens in exported variables.

You do not need to build all of vmlinux.bin*

They are built on demand as prerequsites of uImage.bin*, hence should
be added to targets instead of extra-y.

e339364514 Kbuild: centralize MKIMAGE and cmd_uimage definitions
All ARCHs have the same definition of MKIMAGE. Move it to Makefile.lib
to avoid duplication.

parameterized version in Makefile.lib to avoid duplication.

e66ac3f26a sh: kexec: Add PHYSICAL_START
Add PHYSICAL_START kernel configuration parameter to set the address at
which the kernel should be loaded.

It has been observed on an sh7757lcr that simply modifying MEMORY_START
does not achieve this goal for 32bit sh. This is due to MEMORY_OFFSET in
arch/sh/kernel/vmlinux.lds.S bot being based on MEMORY_START on such
systems.

a0ab36689a sh: fixed PMB mode refactoring.
This introduces some much overdue chainsawing of the fixed PMB support.
fixed PMB was introduced initially to work around the fact that dynamic
PMB mode was relatively broken, though they were never intended to
converge. The main areas where there are differences are whether the
system is booted in 29-bit mode or 32-bit mode, and whether legacy
mappings are to be preserved. Any system booting in true 32-bit mode will
not care about legacy mappings, so these are roughly decoupled.

Regardless of the entry point, PMB and 32BIT are directly related as far
as the kernel is concerned, so we also switch back to having one select
the other.

With legacy mappings iterated through and applied in the initialization
path it's now possible to finally merge the two implementations and
permit dynamic remapping overtop of remaining entries regardless of
whether boot mappings are crafted by hand or inherited from the boot
loader.

3c928320b2 sh: romImage support V2
This patch contains support for the romImage build target V2.

The resulting romImage file should be burned to rom
or flash and could be used as small boot loader.

Board code should keep their setup code in the file
romimage.h located in their mach include directory.

453ec9c1c3 sh: Fix up uImage target entry point.
This patch changes the uImage target so that it generates a wrapped
compressed vmlinux, rather than a wrapped zImage. The previous version
matched the ARM, this version matches the PPC. However I would question
how useful a self decompressing image is with a boot loader which does
decompression, so I think this is more useful. I also feel it matches
the descrition in the help text ("Compressed kernel image") better.

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.

Let it rip!
