There is no point in having an extra type for extra confusion. u64 is
unambiguous.

The update of the vdso data happens under xtime_lock, so adding a
nested lock is pointless. Just use a seqcount to sync the readers.

In an ordinary way,
> } __attribute__ ((aligned (L1_CACHE_BYTES)));
should be
> } ____cacheline_aligned;
to save some bytes on an uni-processor.
