7a04f015d4 hwmon: (max31760) convert to use maple tree register cache
The maple tree register cache is based on a much more modern data structure
than the rbtree cache and makes optimisation choices which are probably
more appropriate for modern systems than those made by the rbtree cache.

e7b631d798 hwmon: Remove I2C_CLASS_HWMON from drivers w/o detect() and address_list
Class-based I2C probing requires detect() and address_list to be
set in the I2C client driver, see checks in i2c_detect().
It's misleading to declare I2C_CLASS_HWMON support if this
precondition isn't met.

1975d16786 hwmon: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()
After commit b8a1a4cd5a ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new()
call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then
03c835f498 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert
back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from
struct i2c_driver.

38b04ad02d drivers: hwmon: Add max31760 fan speed controller driver
MAX31760 is a precision fan speed controller with nonvolatile lookup table.
Device has one internal and one external temperature sensor support.
Controls two fans and measures their speeds. Generates hardware alerts when
programmable max and critical temperatures are exceeded.
