Now that the r4k timer is registered no matter what, bump the rating of
the Alchemy 32kHz timer so that it gets used when it is working,
and fall back on the r4k when it isn't.
This fixes a timer-related hang on platform with a working 32kHz timer
(the better rated c0 timer stops while executing 'wait' leading to (almost)
eternal sleep) and an oops on boot on platforms without a working 32kHz
timer (due to double registration of the r4k timer).

A previous patch converted the Alchemy platform to use the OHCI and EHCI
platform drivers. As a result, all the common logic to handle USB present in
drivers/usb/host/alchemy-common.c has no reason to remain here, so we move it
to arch/mips/alchemy/common/usb.c which is a more appropriate place. This
change was suggested by Manuel Lauss.

Convert the Alchemy platform to register the ohci-platform driver, now that
the ohci-platform driver properly handles the specific ohci-au1xxx resume
from suspend case.
This also greatly simplifies the power_{on,off} callbacks and make them
work on platform device id instead of checking the OHCI controller base
address like what was done in ohci-au1xxx.c.
Impacted defconfigs are also updated accordingly to select the OHCI platform
driver.

The PB1550 is more or less a DB1550 without the PCI IDE controller,

pci 0000:00:00.1: BAR 0: assigned [mem 0x40001000-0x40001fff]
Later the device driver shows this error:
ath5k 0000:00:03.0: cannot remap PCI memory region
ath5k: probe of 0000:00:03.0 failed with error -5
I assume that the logic chip which usually supresses the signal to the CardBus
card has some settling time and without the delay it would still let the
Cardbus interfere with the response from the MiniPCI card.
What I cannot explain is why this behaviour shows up now and not in earlier
kernel versions before. Maybe older PCI code was slower?

Since a clocksource change post 3.2-rc1, tasks on my DB1500 board
hang after random amounts of time (from a few minutes to a few hours),
regardless of load. Debugging showed that the compare-match register
value is a few seconds lower than the current counter value.
The minimum value of 8 was initialy determined by a trial-and-error
approach. Currently it is sufficient for all Alchemys (without PCI
apparently), independent of CPU clock; only the DB1500 and DB1550
boards experience these timer-related tasks hangs now.
This patch increases the minimum timeout by 1 (to 9 counter ticks)
which seems sufficient since the systems are still working perfectly
fine after over 24 hours.

On the other hand, the address of the DB1200's CPLD is hosting Flash
chips on the PB1200. Test for the DB1200 first and additionally do a
quick write-test to the hexleds register to make sure we're writing

Since commit 32fd6901 (MIPS: Alchemy: get rid of common/reset.c)
Alchemy-based boards use their own reset function. For MTX-1 and XXS1500,
the reset function pokes at the BCSR.SYSTEM_RESET register, but this does
not work. According to Bruno Randolf, this was not tested when written.
Previously, the generic au1000_restart() routine called the board specific
reset function, which for MTX-1 and XXS1500 did not work, but finally made
a jump to the reset vector, which really triggers a system restart. Fix
reboot for both targets by jumping to the reset vector.

For MTX-1, the PHY is at address 31, and without this patch, the link

Currently, the eth devices are probed in the inverse order, first
au1xxx_eth1_device and then au1xxx_eth0_device. On the GPR board,
this makes trouble:

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:50:C2:0C:30:01
eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 66:22:01:80:38:10
A bogous ethernet hwaddr is assigned to the first device and
au1xxx_eth0_device is mapped to eth1, which even does not work
properly. With this patch, the problems are gone:
# ifconfig|grep HWaddr

This patch fixes a regression introduced by commit "MIPS: Alchemy: MTX-1:
Use linux gpio api." (bb706b28bb) which broke
PCI bus operation. The problem is caused by alchemy_gpio2_enable() which
resets the GPIO2 block. Two PCI signals (PCI_SERR and PCI_RST) are connected
to GPIO2 and they obviously do not to like the reset. Since GPIO2 is
correctly initialized by the boot monitor (YAMON) it is not necessary to
call this function, so just remove it.
Also replace gpio_set_value() with alchemy_gpio_set_value() to avoid
problems in case gpiolib gets initialized after PCI. And since alchemy
gpio_set_value() calls au_sync() we don't have to au_sync() again later.

On Alchemy the PCMCIA area lies at the end of the chips 36bit system bus
area. Currently, addresses at the far end of the 32bit area are assumed
to belong to the PCMCIA area and fixed up to the real 36bit address before
being passed to ioremap().
A previous commit enabled 64 bit physical size for the resource datatype on
Alchemy and this allows to use the correct 36bit addresses when registering
the PCMCIA sockets.
This patch removes the 32-to-36bit address fixup and registers the Alchemy
demo board pcmcia socket with the correct 36bit physical addresses.

This patch replaces the general alchemy prom_putchar() implementation
in favor of board-specific versions: The UART where the output of
prom_putchar is directed to really depends on the board, the current
implementation hardcodes this on a per-SoC basis which is just wrong.
So a generic uart tx function is provided in the alchemy headers,
and the boards can provide their own prom_putchar with custom
destination uart, and all in-kernel alchemy boards support
early printk.

Eliminate the sharing of IRQ names among the differenct Alchemy
variants. IRQ numbers need no longer be hidden behind a
CONFIG_SOC_AU1XXX symbol: step 1 in my quest to make the Alchemy
code less reliant on a hardcoded subtype.
This patch also renames the GPIO irq number constants. It's really
an interrupt line, NOT a GPIO number!
Code which relied on certain irq numbers to have the same name
across all supported cpu subtypes is changed to determine current
cpu subtype at runtime; in some places this isn't possible so
a "compat" symbol is used.

DBDMA descriptors need to be located at 32-byte aligned addresses;
however kmalloc in conjunction with the SLAB allocator and
CONFIG_DEBUG_SLUB enabled doesn't deliver any. The dbdma code works
around that by allocating a larger area and realigning the start
address within it.
When freeing a channel however this adjustment is not taken into
account which results in an oops:

The handle_edge_irq() flowhandler disables edge int sources which occur
too fast (i.e. another edge comes in before the irq handler function
had a chance to finish). Currently, the mask_ack() callback does not
ack the edges in hardware, leading to an endless loop in the flowhandler
where it tries to shut up the irq source.
When I rewrote the alchemy IRQ code I wrongly assumed the mask_ack()
callback was only used by the level flowhandler, hence it omitted the
(at the time pointless) edge acks. Turned out I was wrong; so here
is a complete mask_ack implementation for Alchemy IC, which fixes
the above mentioned problem.

CPU_MASK_ALL is the (deprecated) "all bits set" cpumask, defined as so:
#define CPU_MASK_ALL (cpumask_t) { { ... } }
Taking the address of such a temporary is questionable at best,
unfortunately 321a8e9d (cpumask: add CPU_MASK_ALL_PTR macro) added
CPU_MASK_ALL_PTR:
#define CPU_MASK_ALL_PTR (&CPU_MASK_ALL)
Which formalizes this practice. One day gcc could bite us over this
usage (though we seem to have gotten away with it so far).
So replace everywhere which used &CPU_MASK_ALL or CPU_MASK_ALL_PTR
with the modern "cpu_all_mask" (a real struct cpumask *), and remove
CPU_MASK_ALL_PTR altogether.

The current in-kernel Alchemy GPIO support is far too inflexible for
all my use cases. To address this, the following changes are made:
* create generic functions which deal with manipulating the on-chip
GPIO1/2 blocks. Such functions are universally useful.
* Macros for GPIO2 shared interrupt management and block control.
* support for both built-in CONFIG_GPIOLIB and fast, inlined GPIO macros.
If CONFIG_GPIOLIB is not enabled, provide linux gpio framework
compatibility by directly inlining the GPIO1/2 functions. GPIO access
is limited to on-chip ones and they can be accessed as documented in
the datasheets (GPIO0-31 and 200-215).
If CONFIG_GPIOLIB is selected, two (2) gpio_chip-s, one for GPIO1 and
one for GPIO2, are registered. GPIOs can still be accessed by using
the numberspace established in the databooks.
However this is not yet flexible enough for my uses: My Alchemy
systems have a documented "external" gpio interface (fixed, different
numberspace) and can support a variety of baseboards, some of which
are equipped with I2C gpio expanders. I want to be able to provide
the default 16 GPIOs of the CPU board numbered as 0..15 and also
support gpio expanders, if present, starting as gpio16.
To achieve this, a new Kconfig symbol for Alchemy is introduced,
CONFIG_ALCHEMY_GPIO_INDIRECT, which boards can enable to signal
that they don't want the Alchemy numberspace exposed to the outside
world, but instead want to provide their own. Boards are now respon-
sible for providing the linux gpio interface glue code (either in a
custom gpio.h header (in board include directory) or with gpio_chips).
To make the board-specific inlined gpio functions work, the MIPS
Makefile must be changed so that the mach-au1x00/gpio.h header is
included _after_ the board headers, by moving the inclusion of
the mach-au1x00/ to the end of the header list.
See arch/mips/include/asm/mach-au1x00/gpio.h for more info.

Replace the current sysctl-based suspend interface with a new sysfs-
based one which also uses the Linux-2.6 suspend model.
To configure wakeup sources, a subtree for the demoboards is created
under /sys/power/db1x:
sys/
`-- power
`-- db1x
|-- gpio0
|-- gpio1
|-- gpio2
|-- gpio3
|-- gpio4
|-- gpio5
|-- gpio6
|-- gpio7
|-- timer
|-- timer_timeout
|-- wakemsk
`-- wakesrc
The nodes 'gpio[0-7]' and 'timer' configure the GPIO0..7 and M2
bits of the SYS_WAKEMSK (wakeup source enable) register. Writing '1'
enables a wakesource, 0 disables it.
The 'timer_timeout' node holds the timeout in seconds after which the
TOYMATCH2 event should wake the system.
The 'wakesrc' node holds the SYS_WAKESRC register after wakeup (in hex),
the 'wakemsk' node can be used to get/set the wakeup mask directly.
For example, to have the timer wake the system after 10 seconds of sleep,
the following must be done in userspace:
echo 10 > /sys/power/db1x/timer_timeout
echo 1 > /sys/power/db1x/timer
echo mem > /sys/power/sleep
